Pureety:
Op you said she used the money in settling family issues? Its not like she used it to go shopping for herself or on frivolous things!!

To her, family comes first, probably she didn't want to be selfish and use the money on herself while her family are in pressing need of money!!

If this is your reason for breaking up then you were never in love with that lady!!

You people should stop quoting me oo, I only said my mind!!

Health › Re: Why Are Nigerians Not Interested In Keeping Fit? by Martinez39(m): 8:27pm On Nov 12, 2018
chuksstanlo:
keeping fit is the one of the most important thing you can do for yourself but most Nigerians take it for granted.
Apart from the occasional jogging here and there nothing happens.
Is it that we don't have time?
Is it too much stress?
Is it because of traffic?
Or Is life in Nigeria just too hard and stressful?
I want to know because i see so many people out of shape.
People getting diabetes, heart disease because of their bad eating habits
I am guilty of these but I seem to be struggling with food. It seems like a compulsion. My body is telling me that I need to cut. Hope to cut down and start exercising.

How detached one can be from reality. Imagine the ridiculous garbage. This is the type of person that can kill others for money rituals when life becomes hard and leaves him desperate for money, all thanks to his magical thinking. That's why I am always careful with poor people who believe in blood money. You might think they won't go that far but it won't be funny when they are passing the knife through your throat. grin

Awon internet warriors!!
Ain't we just awesome!!
Believe it or not,as long as guys still think with their third leg, they will always be scammed!!
And I will keep saying it as long as am here, real men don't care on how much they spend, only the broke ones weep cheesy cheesy
*yimu* men who are naive and were lucky to "enter" money don't care how much they spend on women. Broke guys can be annoying sha, projecting their anger and frustration after being snubbed by girls on everyone. Nevertheless, what HardMirror typed is true. Girls are human beings and should go and work and relationship is not a career. Broke and entitled girls make my dick shrink. I can't take seriously any girl who thinks the man is meant to provide or keeps asking for money, we are not longer in the old times of patriarchy. Work hard and be independent or commot for road.

Don't mind them. Their glorious destiny is not usually beyond getting a job, buying car, marrying and giving birth, building a house and having money. If it's like that, Buhari has a glorious destiny.

Instead of people to be realistic in their approach to solving real world problems and moving the country forward, they spend time in prayer grounds trying to claim the glorious destinies which they somehow think is their birthright. They are so arrogant in their belief of being of destined to be successful in life that it's odd to them when things are not going well, to them it can't be and something must be hindering them. grin

He doesn't owe his community a dime. If community wants progress, they should hold their leaders accountable and the leaders should be up and doing.

... It is funny that nigerians think too much of themselves.

You think you deserve a good marriage
You think you deserve a good job
You think you deserve a life of your dreams.

Wake up! You deserve NOTHING but what you earn! Life owes you nothing.
You dont deserve long life or wealth!

If you live long, fine! If not, there is nothing to it! People die everyday and one day it would be your turn! That is life!

Stop thinking you are so special some people are monitoring you and want to kill your 'worthless' destiny...
As in eh, the entitlement, pride and selfishness is too much. They think success and things going their way is their birthright and that if it doesn't happen then something is wrong. If they are fortunate to make it through hard work, they think others that are not making it are at fault not god (though true from a realistic perspective but not from a christian perspective) and they see their success as evidence of God's existence despite others who are not fortunate. I remember one(a rich christian) saying every christian should make it in life and anyone that doesn't is a disgrace to god.

It's just a case of arrogance, entitlement, pride and selfishness. When you look at most of the people praying for breakthrough and deliverance from anti-success, you discover that many of them, from a realistic perspective, are no deserving of success and have no value to themselves and society. Even the little value they have is not worthy of half a million dollars.

I used to read the arguments you and some other guys have with him in the other American thread. The hypocrisy of these guys is appalling. They have said worse things about people living in Nigeria than Trump ever said yet they call him racist. He calls Nigeria a third world cave and yet he claims to be angry that Trump "allegedly " called Africa a shithole. What's the difference between what he says and what he claims Trump said? I also noticed he has a habit of lying to back up his claims and he's always being called out for it yet he refuses to change. He just came here to claim that Trump said he is a white nationalist as if he is talking to uninformed illiterates on this forum. This is really appalling, it's this same behaviour that him and one other guy are showing on that other thread that makes me avoid it. They don't argue logically at all, they only lie and throw insults all around. Very appalling behaviour
True. The hypocrisy is too much.

Seriously though, it was plain appalling the way the dude and his kind kept going about the Third World countries and shithole thingy and how Trump hates "their kind". Nawa o, dem just believe say everyone sees an American green card as the ultimate. If only they knew there are several people who will rather stay in shithole Nigeria than live as second class citizens working four jobs just to stay afloat.

Just pathetic.
Abbeybailey and co are always like that. If Trump had responded to us the way Abbeybailey did, Abbeybailey and his goons would be the first to shout "racist!", "classist!". The hypocrisy. grin

Most of us just give our opinions the same way we would if Ghana was the country in question.
He is an America wannabe. He is not in America as he claims, he is living fake life on nairaland. He is suffering here in Nigeria. He thinks being able to get the American visa and going to America is an ultimate achievement one must get to live a fulfilled life. He always come uninformed and when you silence him with facts, he starts insulting and degrading you.

I do not expect you to understand the meaning of Freedom of Speech. Google Chicago Tribune or Chicago Sun Times and go to their comments section and your truly is there with thousands of Americans critiqueing not only Trump but all our political leaders to keep them right. No one is threatened but you love your Bubu doing operation Python dance on you. Go to Mummy and collect your pocket money for the day. A guy who never spent a day outside of his locality is mouthing of about a country he only see in his dreams.
People have rights to criticise the great Donald Trump and other political leaders they want to. However Trump is in charge over the white house and can ban you from it. Acosta can go elsewhere to criticise the Donald even in the column of any newspaper. Acosta can ban anyone from his house and I can ban Acosta from my house. It's as simple as that but your neuronal tissues can't handle even the most simplest things. A USA wannabe. grin

If you really understood what freedom of speech meant, you would not be here foolishly ranting like a fish wife. Doesn't Trump have the right to call Jim Acosta a terrible person? Indeed there is no hope for the stupid. Your brain really does collapse at the slightest weight of reasoning instead your feelings does it for you. grin
