Imagine after turning you down, she's still unmarried and waiting for 'Mr.Right' while you are now happily married to much finer and better girl. Girls really need to stop creating unnecessary standards or barriers for themselves and do the right thing. And to guys, whenever a girl reject you, its not the end of the world. She's only making it possible for you to meet and be with a better person. Every disappointment is a blessing!

Some people (especially ladies) are usually fond of saying this a lot, especially when it has to do with dating. A lot of girls do have a mental 'picture' of whom they'd like to date. Which could be due to a lot of reasons. Ranging from age, status, shape, height, skin color, beauty, profession or tribe, and most importantly the size of your pocket. Though there's nothing wrong in this, but the funny part of it, it's the way most girls use it as an excuse (especially girls on campus). Who usually claim not to have interest in campus boys, but later turn around to date them secretly or openly. Probably out of loneliness or just to fill the gap while they wait and hope for a bigger fish. And in the other hand, when you're talking about getting your preferred choice of a partner, you can never get a perfect match...You may be lucky to get someone close to what you desire. But getting a perfect match is usually a difficult task. That's why some always try to shape or turn their partners into the kind of person they desire. By telling him or her how to dress, behave, talk, eat or do some certain things. And doing this is very bad, cos it can also have an adverse effect on the relationship. Any relationship that's like that, don't usually last long. The person being 'pushed' would definitely get tired one day and may decide to walk out of such a relationship. When you find someone you like, you just have to like him or her the way he/she is. Don't try to turn the person into a doll baby. And when you like someone, don't pretend or hide it. Or keep saying he is not your type. Cos most people say this just to cover up!

There are men who hardly allow their wives have any say in the day to day running of the home, or on any issue at home. They see their wives as 'subjects' or lesser (and weaker) vessels, that can be trampled upon whenever they feel like. Some of them usually shut their wives up either rudely or indirectly, care less about her opinions/ideas or feelings, and always want her to obey his every word to the later. Such men are like a demi-god to their wives, acting like a dictator at home while pretending to be like saints in public. If you are such a man, please endeavor to change for good. Cos your wife is suppose to be the flesh of your flesh, your soulmate, as well as your helpmate. So, appreciate your wife!

Cos an eligible bachelor of today is not like the eligible bachelor of those days. Levels don change.

A girl I know says she is beginning to fall inlove with her boyfriend's friend, who has bn so nice and supportive to her. Always advising her and also giving her a listening ear. Compare to her boyfriend who doesn't behave as if he cares about her at all. She says she finds him(her boyfriend' friend) more caring, understanding and romantic than her boyfriend. And that the guy has bn a wonderful and caring friend to her. Guess she is developing feelings for him, cos he seems to be better and also a complete opposite of her uncaring and unromantic boyfriend. You know girls tend to get closer to someone who shows them care and attention. Especially if she is not getting enough love, care or attention from her boyfriend. And that is what this particular girl is going through right now. She is so confused, and doesn't know what to do.

They say when you dig, you must surely dig out dirt. Some do have a past, they are not proud of. But how would you feel when you later find out that your late boyfriend, girlfriend, husband or wife whom you loved and cherished so much while alive, wasnt faithful to you before he or she passed away. Will your love and adoration for the person still be intact? I once saw a movie about an elderly man who felt so bad and angry with his late wife after discovering she once cheated on him some years back while she was alive. He hated her for what she did, and as a result started destroying anything that reminded him of her in their apartment. Guess he felt betrayed. And same thing actually happened in real life, when a nigerian woman discovered later, that her late husband was cheating on her. Instead of crying during his funeral, she was resentful and felt nothing for him. Guess her love for him died the moment she found out about his unfaithfulness. When you dig, you will surely dig out dirt. So, its better not to dig at all. Cos nobody is perfect. Its better to have fond memories of a loved one.

Some people usually use loneliness as an excuse to indulge in sex or cheat on their boyfriends, or girlfriends especially if they are in a long distance relationship. A lot of girls say sex at times help take care of their emotional needs. Since they are vulnerable and fragile, fighting such temptation is usually tough for them especially if their boo is far away from them. Imagine that kind talk. To me, loneliness is not an excuse for cheating. A cheat is a cheat. Most girls or guys that cheat on their partners are sex freaks....who can't do without sex or hold body for a long time. Thats just it.

Who can you say loves you more between your family and your girlfriend or boyfriend? Most girls usually believe their boo loves her more than her family. That's why you see a lot of girls ditching her family cos of her guy. Ignoring them while listening and doing only what her boyfriend tells her to do. Behaving like someone under a spell. I can't imagine how your boyfriend or girlfriend would love you more than someone that has the same blood with you. Your own siblings, someone you grew up with and share so much in common with. A boyfriend or girlfriend can abandon you tomorrow, but your family would never do such in most cases. Though some families/siblings are something else, but family will always be family. When you are hurt by your boo or bae, who do you turn to for succour? Your sister, brother or parents!

Life is competitive whether you like it or not. Everywhere you go or find yourself, you see people unconsciously competiting against one another for one thing or the other. And winning a girl's love has now become part of the competition among guys these days. Some guys dont even mind snatching their friend's girlfriend (or wives in some cases) just to prove a silly point. Energy thats suppose to be put into better things, you see guys using it to woo a babe till she eventually succumbs. More than half of the guys wooing a girl are only interested in sleeping with her and not cos they love her or want to marry her. And girls being who they are, cant help but fall for the bad ones cos of the 'attention and money' they throw at them. At times, I really dont understand what a guy stand to gain by being the first to sleep with a particular girl, seeing the way he goes around boasting about it. To most guys, chasing & catching a girl is like going on an hunting expedition. With the sole purpose of satisfying a personal desire or ego. While girls see and approach dating/relationship differently, guys see it more as a game.

Most people rush to get married in order to beat the time. Cos there is a certain age, most people usually try to beat when it comes to getting married. In the case of a girl, its usually the age of 30, while guys try to avoid getting to 35 before tying the knot. Thats why most guys hustle and try to make enough money before clocking 35 so as to get married and start having kids on time. While ladies hope and pray to get married before the age of 30. Its like racing against time. It doesn't even have anything to do with pressure, competition or tradition. Its usually a personal goal or desire of everybody, to get married before a certain age or time.

The three most important moments/day in a girl's life are:

1, The day she is born a girl--her luckiest day. Being a girl na good tin ds days o.

2. The day she gets married--her most happiest day. Almost every girl can never forget her wedding day.

3. And the first time she will ever have sex--her most unforgettable day. Wow, sex is usually something every girl looks forward to. And her first time of doing it, is forever remembered.

I dont understand why most girls say this alot, especially whenever you ask them about getting married or walking down the aisle with her boyfriend. Its like many of them know their guy wont marry them or is not serious with them. Then if that is the case, why stay with such a guy who is not serious about marrying you but only interested in sex. I guess a lot of girls are in such relationship. They stick with an unserious boyfriend while hoping and looking for another guy to come and marry her. But who loses at the end, the girl who leaves her boyfriend to marry another man or the unserious boyfriend who must have slept with her several times before losing her to another man? Imagine someone you ve given 5 years of ur life , suddenly dumps you for another girl despite all your sacrifice and loyalty, simply cos u are yet to acquire a degree. This is exactly what a guy recently did to his girlfriend, soon after he became a graduate. Feeling his uneducated girlfriend doesnt fit his new status as a graduate, he decided to dump her for another girl, who is a graduate and also working. What a cruel world we live in. People aint loyal anymore. No matter the sacrifice you do for someone, it doesnt stop him or her from causing you pain, tears and blood. Most girls if not all, are usually scared of not marrying on time due to obvious reasons. Cos when a girl is almost gettin to 27, 28, 29 or 30 and still single, she tend to be worried and somehow desperate to tie the knot before it gets too late. You know guys usually prefer dating and getting married to ladies under 25 years. Any girl above 25, or close to 30 years is usually seen by most guys as an old or over matured woman. Who probably has had a lot of experience with so many men in the past. And couple with the fact that women tend to age faster than guys, when a girl is getting close to that age most single ladies dread, it start showing on her body and appearance that she is no longer getting younger. A lot of girls dread that period or age. And thats why they just want to get married before they clock 30. Not marrying on time is usually a nightmare to many.
