Wahala for those who carry friendship on their head. grin Your neck will break soon. I keep my boundaries. And most importantly, I deal with people based on specific purpose. Once purpose is fulfilled, I make haste. I have no regrets living this way.

I learnt this lesson after my Uni days. I realized friendship was a mirage. People stick with you to make gains. All those who claimed to be my friend did so because they wanted academic assistance. After uni days, na only back of car mechanic dey see after he fix customer car finish. cheesy

Peace and tranquility. wink

Funny How You Call "Water Yam" Which is The Creation of God Almighty A "Useless Yam" - Yet You Reference Jesus Christ on Your Bio...

Pretty Funny.
I don't converse with self-righteous folks. A harmless joke over an ordinary yam could bite you this much? You must be a horrible person to be with. I pity those who live with you. You need purging of spirit. I am a Christian, not a religious bigot. sad

This is good because it'll force people to be politically conscious, it'll fight back the government if she failed to perform up to expectations of her populace.
You made the most relevant point. Most people vote stupidly because they do not entrust government with their financial sweat. Our government runs largely on proceeds from natural resources. When people start paying taxes like in advanced nations, this idiotic pattern of voting will stop by force.

Who contributes money in the hand of a criminal?

Fubara is not a fool. Tinubu can be trusted with honoring political alliance, but Wike is a no no. The only way those guys are returning to the house is if they submit to the new leadership of Ehie. Until then, Fubara has them by their balls. Be thinking Fubara is a fool, so did Wike. grin

The governor was ambushed in that meeting hence two things are very much expected, he may be decamping to APC in a matter of months and continue slaving for his emperor or he will be impeached. Nothing can save him.

If he has not signed that document he would have been killed. David Briggs interview was eye opening.
Most people think we have a government in power, what they don't know, a drug cartel is in charge.
Killed by who? Kill a sitting governor of Rivers state and Ijaw heritage? You guys joke too much. Stop overrating Wike and his men. grin

The Pope style of leadership is Pastoral. A shepherd who love his sheep. The emphasis is on case by case basis by priest. This situation will help the priest journey with the wayward LGBTQ people and bring them back to track.
Catholics always finding ways to defend foolishness because it emanates from the Vatican. If this was from one pentecostal preacher, una for don run mad since. Hypocrites!

Keep defending the devilish papal misstep. Meanwhile many Western catholic bishops have started dissociating themselves from this institutional deviance. Follow devil enter hole, you hear. Blessing means approval. You cannot bless what you do not support.

Like the Anglican church, the catholic church is about to break up from Vatican control. Every country will soon begin establishing their own liturgies. One man cannot confound GOD'S explicit laws.

If this is all you learnt from this crisis, then you lack a basic understanding of politics.

We are just coming from an election where he ensured the success of those you mentioned and can still replicate it. He has the structure of the state. This is not Nzogbu nzogbu politics.
Baby analyst, shift. You know nothing. Dude has lost heavily. A state structure that should normally be his bargaining stronghold is now within Tinubu's direct reach. Na you nor sabi anything.

Your haze will soon be cleared. Wike is seriously weakened.
Politics › Re: Rivers Assembly Withdraws Impeachment Notice Against Gov Fubara by mastermaestro(m): 10:39am On Dec 21, 2023
Wike has been seriously weakened. Tinubu is the winner here. He now has a direct influence over Rivers state political activities. If Wike misbehaves, he will be dumped like Amaechi. Tinubu would rather now work with a more reasonable Fubara than with difficult Wike. In fact he would prefer Fubara decamping to APC than having Wike who is uncontrollable.

Wike lost when he failed to assume leadership by resolving this crisis in a sensible way within the boundaries of Rivers state.

Like Amaechi, Wike's dynasty has collapsed.

Why una dey cry? Rivers people are not complaining. Face your state. Wike has been dymistified. Period! Wike disregarded Tinubu's initial diplomatic intervention by continuing to bully the governor. Fubara decided to match Wike's madness with madness. Who is crying now? Wike must take the walk of shame and defeat alone. You can join him. sad

Most of them are still dreaming. Tinubu does not fight foolishly. Wike has wrecked the whole show from the start. Did you see Tinubu fight Ambode or Osinbajo openly or foolishly? He went underground and clipped their wings. Today there is hardly any trace to what transpired.

Tinubu will never rubbish his tactical wisdom on this bad fight. Dude is going to let Wike clean up his own mess. He intervened initially but Wike did not regard his input.

Make them still dey shout federal might there. Na only Wike dey inside this mud like this.

Only the president can release him on pardon after he might have signed several undertakings renouncing his Biafra agitation. I was surprised you guys expected the SP to release someone who made mockery of his bail conditions sometime ago.

Dude went overboard with his agitation. His speeches were too violent and inciting. Unless Tinubu wants to win Igbo support, that dude won't see the sun anytime soon. He is a threat to regional peace.

I don hear you? So tell me which governorship candidate Oshimole is supporting in APC? ASUE will emerge as the Pdp governorship candidate in Edo State come next year governorship Election 🗳.
There is no doubt he will emerge through Obaseki's influence in the primaries. As for the main election, PDP is a write-off because anyone Obaseki supports is going to be rejected.

The battle is between APC and Labour Party irrespective of the tribes of their candidates. It is not an issue to argue about. A simple study of the political culture of Edo State would corroborate what I just said.

In Edo state it is always about individuals, not tribe or party. Obaseki is hated and that hatred is what PDP is going to pay for in next year's governorship election.

You guys were expecting the court to free him with all the glaring video evidences of incitement and violence nailing him. Una dey play. grin He may be released but not by any competent court. His release will come through presidential pardon. That is after he must have signed several undertakings renouncing his Biafra agitation.

Without sentiments, no country on earth would tolerate or release Kanu just like that after all that transpired. He is even lucky to be alive. If it were Obj, dude would be history already. Don't compare him to Gumi o. You would be foolish to do so. Gumi does not lead mobs and protests across Northern states nor does he impose a curfew as Kanu was doing.

Tinubu may just want to buy the heart of the Easterners by letting him loose. Otherwise dude is going no where. You guys can cry from now till forever. You see how Igboho has gone quiet after his people facilitated his release. What did Kanu do after his was released on bail? He defied all his bail conditions. Now he wants the same court to grant him bail again. You guys should stop being emotional. No court is letting him go this time around. Na Tinubu una go go beg with plenty plenty pledges and undertakings. sad
