That is the kind of mess PDP left in the system and yet they are the first set of people shouting that APC has brought hardship to the people. They even said nobody should talk about the past we should just move on and pretend as if nothing happened. And their apologists agreed with them. What a society.

But why taking over when APC knows they can't fix it. APC has failed, PDP make them a failure. Why? All the people in APC were former PDP member. Let Nigerians vote individual this time around not party.

I don't know if I should believe what I heard from the governor or his ass licker.
Just few weeks ago during an interview, Bello himself mentioned that, salaries are being paid up to date and now his yet another ass licker is saying otherwise.
I wonder why APC led government from federal to state level will not stop the blames game and focus on true governance.
From his submissions, he's further opened the state to ridicule for claiming just between 400 - 500 million will subject a whole state to such a lack of funding to run basic state apparatus.
I think it is time to start thinking of privatizing some of these nonviable states like Kogi

Please if you can get buyers like Dangote, DonaldTrump, even if Lagos State can just buy Kogi State over for the next 10years, that will be good for the state

Since the creation of the State, the people have never had it good. Come and check out the infrastructural development compared to other States it zero

Apologize or Resign.

These people take Nigeria for a joke? Nigerians for a fool?

What will it take him to just come out and address the nation in an apologic manner. "Am sorry" so simple to say " I was drugged" or just say " I was not in my right senses".

Was it the man's fault to camera and transmit live to the net, before they were ordered to retract from making it public.

HOW TO JOIN POLITICS

Having convinced you that you can actually be actively involved in politics without contesting elections, let's consider the steps you need to take to get started.

1. Identify your Ward:
The ward is the smallest unit of Government in Politics. The Political Head of a Ward is called Councilor. Every politician must compulsorily be a card-carrying member of a political party at the ward level. This however is with the exception of those who choose to contest election as or support independent candidates. Your ward is not necessarily your home town but the locality where you will most conveniently carry out your political activities. It is also advisable that you also register with INEC as a voter in this ward.

2. Make the Choice of Political Party:
Consider the available political parties in your area and make a choice. I advise you study the manifesto and constitution of the party you want to join and agree that you align with her. Unfortunately, in Nigeria's nascent democracy, ideology is not well defined in the existing political parties, therefore, they almost share basic ideologies.

3. Get involved in Ward activities:
The least you can do as a politician is to attend your ward meetings. Get deeply involved at this stage. Contribute at meetings and assist once in a while in footing party bills either in kind or cash. This not easy and takes time and plenty of efforts. Once in a while, sponsor refreshments at meetings or volunteer to transport some members to meetings or other activities.

4. Identify like-minded believers in the party to relate with:
This is very important as decision are taken in politics based on majority of opinions. It is important that you align with your own class of people to ensure that decisions taken are not to the disadvantage of your interest.

5. Relate Well With The leaders:
That you want to make changes in the politics of your environment does not mean castigating existing leaders. Celebrate them for the good they have done and be silent on their evils, at least for a start. Success in politics is about who you know and not necessarily what you know.

6. Volunteer to be part of Campaigns/Party Activities:
Every political campaign and political activity needs hard workers. If you want to get an idea of how politics really work, walk into any campaign office of a candidate and offer to help out. You'll likely be asked to do what appears to be menial work at first, things like helping to register new voters or making phone calls and/or test messages on behalf of a candidate. But if you do the job well, you'll be given more responsibilities and more visible roles in the campaign.

7. Pay attention to Political Information: Unfortunately many are political illiterates. Before you get into politics, you ought to know what you're talking about and be able to hold an intelligent and thoughtful conversations about the issues. Local politicians and indeed the community respect you when you have better information at hand. That alone makes you a point of reference in your locality. Therefore, read your local newspaper(s), statewide newspapers and national newspapers. Be alive on the social media for information.

8. Get involved in your Community:
Attend Landlords/Residents meetings. Network with and be in good terms with local groups e.g The Vigilante, etc. Build coalitions dedicated to changing and improving your town such as the CDA or Tribal Unions. PTA meetings and Cooperative Societies are equally good places to be for upcoming politicians.

9. Build character and good name:
A good name is better than silver and gold. As corrupt as our society is, a good name still speaks volume. Strive to build for yourself and generations after you a good name. In whatever capacity you are entrusted with responsibility, make a good opportunity to leave a lasting impression in the hearts of the people.

10. If you must contest, start small:
There is no spirituality in insisting that certain offices are too small for you. Start from the grassroots and gradually work your way to the top. "All politics is local."

It's is yahoo yahoo EFCC no how to trail. EFCc please go and teach police their work.

Later they will be doing stop and search. Searching innocent people body and phone, while the real killer move around confidently with guns, videoing their faces

Fanwo in Sunday Tribune Newspaper maintained that “The purported parallel congresses are jesters and politically confused individuals who are out to destroy the party.”

He further added that, “Security agencies must go after those hoodlums who claimed they had another congress apart from the one originally supervised by the national headquarters of our great party.”

The media aides also called on the national leadership of the party to sanction those that were involved in what he described as the sponsors of parallel congress.

KOGI STATE APC ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE;
Alh Ametuo and Gov Bello Battle For Supremacy following Congresses ..................................................

After the Yahaya Bello group "sacked" the bona-fide Exco of the Kogi State APC led by Alh Haddy Ametuo based on some trumped up allegations, GYB & his men quickly opened a new secretariat and appointed it's own Excos led by Alh Salami Ahovi Ibrahim.

Shortly after, the APC at national level condemned the "sack and appointment drama" orchestrated by GYB and dissociated itself from the action, affirming the position of Alh Haddy Ametuo as the undisputed Chairman of the Kogi APC.

Following the controversies that trailed the APC ward Congresses where both the Ametuo and Ahovi camps produced winners, the Chairman of the Committee in charge of the APC ward congress in Kogi, Bestman Nze-Jombo said there were no parallel Ward Congresses in the state, claiming that he reached out to the Bona-fide Chairman (Ametuo) who turned him down and he resorted to working with the "acting chairman" (Ahovi).

In a swift reaction, Duro Meseko, the spokesman of the Ametuo group while addressing the press announced that in the run up to the APC conventions, his group, the real APC Exco, approached the National Secretariat of the party and collected the materials for the Congresses after deceiving the unrecognised Salami Ibrahim Ahovi led Exco and GYB, giving the impression that they had an intention to boycott the congresses but never really planned to do so, the National APC then gave all the Congress election materials to the Ametuo led APC being the legally recognised group.

Duro Meseko in his press release affirmed that his team conducted the only true authentic congress, insisting that the Alh Ahovi Ibrahim Salami congress is invalid and unrecognised by the law. Mr Meseko further announced that Yahaya Bello and his group can decamp to another party if they don't like the fact that his group (Ametuo and co) held the only valid congresses based on their status as the only recognised Exco known to the law.

One wonders where the GYB camp led by Alh Ibrahim Ahovi who calls himself the "acting chairman" of the Kogi State APC derived his powers to be so called and to conduct the Congress when the main chairman is still very much alive and active.

From the foregoing, it is crystal clear that Ibrahim Ahovi and his team are unknown to either the APC constitution or the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and therefore, no action taken by them can ever withstand legal scrutiny, they are therefore running foul of the norms and must desist from it.

Clearly, its only a matter of time before the real Kogi State APC Chairman in person of Alh Haddy Ametuo and his group are given due recognition and its actions including the congresses validated.

I'm a Christian, but this statement is fallacious to say the least.

Do you then infer that Countries without a Parish doesn't have the presence of God?

Inasmuch as I love God, I definitely despise this denominational superior thingy.

Someone will invite you to his/her church and if you decline, they start giving attitude.

Fellow Christians, please inasmuch as we are called to be Lights and Salt, let's be thoughtful towards other Religion and beliefs.

I personally hate Bus Preaching, and most times, I ask the person how long he wants to go, cause I entered the bus to get home, while also grateful for the anonymity it sometimes provide, someone will now break into my mind and little peace by Preaching and won't stop till he gets to his/her busstop.

Let's be considerate to others while living.

I personally disagree with this. Please let those who love to preach, preach. That what God love. If you are proud of something you introduce it to others. Christians are no longer giving out the light like before.

I was in Ibadan early this year and to my greatest surprise I saw great increase in the number of people wearing the hijab and put on the small imam cap. I can see they are no longer ashame of showing their religion. They evangelise the more by they way they dress. That was my observations compare to when I visited in 2008

Christians need wake up. If you are a Catholic and u feel challenge that Pentecostal are increasing then go out and win more soul into the Catholic flock.

When last did u tell unbelievers about the God of the Catholics
