1. She's not broke neither is she hungry.

2. Going by the impression that she has a car and came with one made me come to that conclusion. Even though owning a car doesn't mean you're financially stable.

3. Look at the items she stole, they are petty. Brassieres. D!ldos, etc.

4. It's not her first time. That was just one of her unlucky days. A kleptomaniac's fingers just itch to steal anything and something. They don't need it. But, they just steal.
how did you come about your 2nd point?
did you see he come from a car or you just saw a key(which could be any key)??
I think you're just trying to make the issue seem less derogatory.
Because, I don't want to believe you're this gullible..

do you not know that the first thing a smart thief tries to do is, LOOK SOPHISTICATED in other to divert attention??

She must be a "kleptomaniac". She can afford them but can't help steal them. I commend those people there for not brutalizing her nor tearing her clothes, as typical Nigerians would do.
If I may ask you, how did you come to the conclusion that she could afford the items she stole?
Family / Re: Am I Doing Bad As A Father And Husband by Maverick777: 10:54am On Jun 23, 2022
IDERAWOLE:

The fault is yours.

As a husband, you're the one responsible for the family. Chikena. You may not like this statement.

It's your responsibility to plan how to take care of your home. Your wife is your helper. The person wey dey help person carry him load, no be the owner of the load.

Meanwhile, not all wives are helpers because they're not told that they are by whoever, parents or priests in church.

You may think I'm supporting irresponsible wives, no! If a wife is a helper and your own isn't helping you, keep doing your duty as husband and report the matter to the person the instituted marriage. He will soon bring sense into the brain of the woman you call your wife.

However, many will call my advice old school.

You're not compelled to do more than your capacity for your home except you want to steal.

Sit down with her and tell her what you can afford to do for her and the children. If she's not satisfied, show her the door.
How many things are you even saying oga?
only you said he shouldn't complain
only said report the wife
only you said discuss with her
did anyone force you to comment?

it's obvious you're bereft of ideas, let's all learn to be empathetic in our posts and advise to people here..

Men are not robots ok!

Buy her gift once in a while, or when you go out buy somethings for her and kids. Like ice cream and rest . May God keep your home.
Buy her gift for what exactly, being insensitive??
Is that what you'd do if you were to be in his shoes?

Acres of land are available for sale at a fast growing area in Ibadan immediately after *Ilaje Hotel and Sport Resort*. It can be majorly used for residential and commercial purposes. As at last 2 months, it went for 300k. But now it is going for 700k. All necessary documents are available.
How many acres, what's the exact location in IB and is it family land?

I will definitely miss him.
Pity that Liverpool could not offer him a better contract.
Fingers crossed. Let's see who replaces him
he's been replaced last season(Luis diaz.)
Darwin Nunez was then bought to add cover for (or prolly bench) Jota.

I am just being real. When a human being is pushed to the wall he/she eventually turns to a wild beast. I sympathies with those who can't find any means of survival. Hope you won't vote for wicked leaders who lacks empathy in the next coming elections?
I would vote for P.O, simply because he's the most presentable of the 3 major candidates, not because I expect anything different from him(Personally, I feel Nigeria is damaged beyond repair)..

I have never depended on government for my well-being and my kids would also have such orientation.

He didn't make money dumbass. Its common sense to adjust the present value of the money by inflation.

Will 2.24bn buy what 1.96bn would have bought when he invested? There you have your answer.

He actually lost a lot of money. There's something called inflation. The 2.24b is far more useless compared to the 1.96b he invested.
You're talking trash!
Is he the reason why Nigeria's economy nosedived so much?
For him to even make a profit of over 200m amidst heavy dip in naira value, just goes to show how much of a brilliant investment it actually was.

Peter Obi's supporters had claimed that his investment grew in dollar value, so that justifies debunking the claim based on the dollar value. However, there is value in continuing the debate so there's no reason why we shouldn't feature this thread also. It still doesn't look like a great investment to me though.
So supporters are now responsible for someone's actions?
did Peter obi tell you that himself? too much bias!

Good for you, not everyone that might have gotten the opportunities you had. The street is very tough and anti productive which to me is deliberately done especially by this present government to frustrate the youths. Until you realize that political policies have a way of influencing the standard of living, the better for you. A messed up environment, is a breeding ground for cultism, thuggery, prostitution, corruption etc.
The funny thing about life in the country, people who you think are highly respected or religious are most times into one shady deal or the other. The mindset of majority of people are already messed up and it will take years for it to change. People are just wicked and criminally minded these days. Until we elect credible leaders, things will get worse.

Guy, it is highly irresponsible to always look for an excuse in life in life situations... Are you saying there are no positive or legitimate ways to make money because of bad government? I don't want to tell you what I did to make my first million...
Trust me, your excuse is highly irresponsible and is the reason the youths have degenerated to this level!

This website is so old that the framework it's built on has long been retired by the company he got it from then, meaning no new features can be added realistically.

Red-pillers(Men)

Now, you'd struggle to read any thread here on NL and not encounter one of the aforementioned words or phrases (as the case may be), In fact, it is safe to say that any thread without one form of bigotry or the other is virtually incomplete.
How did we get here!

It is a clear violation of the 'so-called rules' (2&3) but I guess those rules are just for formality sake, hence only a few people get punished for this. More often than not, it's even celebrated with multiple likes and shares. Shame!

It is extremely sad that, Nigeria's most visited indigenous-owned site has degenerated into this.
I am deeply pained, I had to pause everything to just write this.

Bigotry is a disease, yes, a very serious disease to both the giver and receiver,
It can affect your mental health
Give your impaired judgement
Affect your sense of agency
Create low self esteem(Inferiority-complex)
Will most likely hamper your prospective opportunities. Just to mention a few.

What ever happened to One-Nigeria, what's the divide all about.

I know this thread wouldn't make front page.
But, for the few who see it, let's please take a time out to reflect.
Bigotry is a menace, and it's not worth it!

Good Morning!

Bills must be paid, money must be made, the home must be kept, children must eat, all this and many more are some of the hard truth that is making moral decadence to be on the high side because parents no longer have time to raise up children with sound values
Let's just hope for wisdom to be able to balance our finances and home
Then why not have a certain level of financial capability/security before rushing into marriage?
Why the rush anyways??
If you can't breed responsible kids, isn't the purpose of marriage half-defeated at the end of the day?

The blame on is on all leaders of the country. If things were working properly in the country, the youths will have a positive mindset to life. A situation were most of their parents are struggling financially and are mostly disrespected in their homes because they can't provide fully for their families. Until Nigerians vote in sane humans and not thugs and those who have attributes of a cartel, nothing will change.
Not a valid enough excuse.
I'm part of the said youth in question, and in my time, things were not so rosy as well.
I scaled through life even when I could've chosen the easy way out.

If you're a parent, please govern your house/kids very well, provide all they need, so they don't have to take up the mantle at a young age(thereby exposing them to all kinds of crime).

The matter tire me my brother. It feels like we are thinking the same line of thoughts.

As much as I believe in something called moral relativism, I still believe that the moral decadence in our society is strongly rooted in the proliferation of social media and the irregularities from the regulatory agencies of the media and entertainment sector.

We can as well see how information fly with the speed of light. A Lady called Kelly Bardie or whatever she's called twerked from a hotel room in Dubai and share the video on TikTok, two days later, you see thousands of other Nigerians ladies copying here style.

I think the agency incharge of media content management should stop claiming that those are meant to entertain the public. They are killing the future leaders, rendering many lives useless and also encouraging several odd lifestyles.

In church, many pastors have stopped preaching against premarital sex, parents now encourage abortions just to save themselves from public shames and as abortion pills market demand is highly on the increase, infant mortality rate is on the increase as well, and the list goes on and on.

Family is the pillar of every strong society and should be encouraged by their pastors, imams etc to keep strengthening the members on how to raise Godly children.
Thank you Sir.
Its easy to know an enlightened and wise mind from their words.
