Family / Paternity Fraud At Its Peak! by Maverick777: 9:16am On Jun 28, 2022
Top of the Morning Y'all!

It was yesternight after work, I decided to stop by a grocery shop to stock up as usual. On coming out, driving through my estate back gate, boom! A cluster of people gathered, some at different sides of the road, others at the scene, I looked closer it was a lady and a guy fighting, and others were just watching not separating them, I pulled over immediately (best decision I ever took). If it was any other scenario I wouldn't have even looked twice, but you see man beating/fighting woman, I detest it!

Before I could come out and asked what's happening, the lady already burst the guy's head open with a stone, he had blood all over his head/face, ah! then joined in another guy slapping her and pulling her hair (she kept shouting OMONIGHO!), I was like what the f***, what if her husband or brother shows up?

Just before I wanted to go and separate them, I just said lemme confirm what's happening...
I finally asked,
-wetin dey happen?

'Bros, this lady husband just catch her with man dy comot for hotel so, he call secretariat boys to drag her and the man go, na wetin she dey fight so, say she nr wan go'.
-were the husband so?
'see am for there'.

Woah! the husband stood behind a highlander jeep on his phone, now it made sense why she kept shouting OMONIGHO!!!
Further findings showed that, they've been married for 5years, he has asked her time and time again, their child is always falling sick(he's SS), and the man is (AA) ,she always downplayed the fact...
Now, rumor had been going on that's she's cheating, but since he is a bonkery(oil people) worker, he's mostly out of town.
From what he said, he said the child looks exactly like the man he caught the wife with now...

Boom! off they drove to secretariat, younger me would've driven along the convoy to see the end... but for my sanity sake, I chose not to.

Now, what's happening with women nowadays?
if you see the husband and the man she's cheating with, they're world's apart oh (husband dust am in every facet)
is it money, attention, sex, high-libido, urge-to-explore or what exactly??

Some say women don't marry who they love, but who's ready, even at that, you should know you're married and respect the union!
Do you know what it means for a man to marry you, provide for you and end up to be training another man's child?

Why do MARRIED women cheat?
The men sleeping with the married women are useless oh, no doubt, but you can make a case that some of them don't even know the ladies are married..

I'm getting scared every passing day about keeping an undercover slut at home..
You people pity us(MEN) nah.
Most women no longer have shame..
Sodom and Gomorah babes no do reach this one oh.

What do these women actually want?!

Sorry bro. I can't take it with a bag of salt. If there was anything less than a punch of salt, that's how I will take it.

You had already generalised earlier that once Netflix is involved, the film is a go and we have seen how this film doesn't prove that case. Maybe your definition of what makes an "excellent movie" is different from mine but for you it's all about how a "Naija movie scene saved me from something hooge...", "Most of NAIJA contents are real life stories that actually happened..." and stuff like "I don't live abroad, apart from sci-fi, I don't see any reason to watch any other foreign movie". If that's what makes a movie excellent for you, then we aren't on the same page
okay, let me set you a trap, please answer wisely.
why don't you watch Naija movies?

From the opening by the OP, the glamour girls film is a Netflix film and yet you can't vouch for the quality of the film. Every comment on the film has been negative.

Whether you live abroad or in Nigeria isn't the issue. Whether "Most of NAIJA contents are real life stories that actually happened..." or not isn't the issue. The issue is how is the story told? That's what a makes a great film...how the story is told. Not whether it is fiction or real life
The fact that I criticized the movie unprovoked, should tell you I'm a firm critic, I strive for perfection...
So, if the same me tells you that some Naija film-makers make excellent movies, take it with a bag of salt!

I de hail una wey get power to de watch Nigerian films. Can't imagine myself by myself going by myself to watch nigerian films except I come your house meet you watching it.

Fact is, Nollywood directors, producers and actors have nothing to offer. They are just privileged to have access to resources for making movies hence they are so lazy in thinking up original ideas different from the norm. I can confidently say most if not all don't have the needed training in story telling and in bringing stories to life which you can only get from learning how to be an actor in a university
Well I do, i'm not stereotypical...
call me old school or 'woman', no p.
you'd struggle to find a more intelligent person around..
In fact, in my house, I only have to be away before you can watch anything else!
Here's why,
I rather watch stuff I can relate to, i just need to find one with very good content not your regular 'Asaba' movie oh..
Most of NAIJA contents are real life stories that actually happened...
I can't start to tell you how something I saw from a Naija movie scene saved me from something hooge...!
I don't live abroad, apart from sci-fi, I don't see any reason to watch any other foreign movie

And Yes. We've good competent trained producers here, the ones that Netflix beg to buy their works.

Whew!

It's been a while I was here. So, I'm back for another review and rating. This time, it's for the newly released Glamour Girls, which is a PlayNetwork production, with a collaboration from Netflix, so you know, money was not an issue. I will be reviewing what exactly Play Network used this excess funds they must have gotten, to do.

Movie Title: Glamour Girls
Cast:
Nse-Ikpe Etim
Sharon Ooja
Joselyn Dumas
Toke Makinwa
Segilola
If you have already made the error of seeing the movie, what are your genuine thoughts and ratings on the movie?
Okay, I actually saw it last night(not that I was expecting anything exceptional after blood sisters, I just needed to unwind)
Now, my take is this, these new found competition from film-makers to go for a remake of classics rather than go for your own unique story is sickening!
That, one person was able to do it to perfection, doesn't mean y'all can.
The problem of Nigerians is that we don't think outside the box, always trying to copy what's trending..
I for one, happened to have watched the 'original' movie back then, alongside so many others that were remade, ranging from, Rattle snake, Nneka the serpent, Living in bondage et all..
For me, the only remake that made it was, living in bondage, and that's solely because the actual movie actual begged for a sequel and he(R.N.J) got a few of the cast from way back alongside!
Times have changed, this new breed can never go close to what the likes of ego boyo did then(little wonder she flared up) neither can they relate to what even inspired the movie, they can only read script but can never match the emotion...

That cast could've faired extremely better in a story relating to present day, I can bet my life on that.
movie was trash!

My $100.30cents

All of you are saying you don't want female kids et all
well, i feel that's really shortsighted.
i'd tell you why,
As a man yeah, I know you'd friends growing up, some who were chronic gamblers, womanizers, some thieves, drunkards, drug addicts the least is long.
I did a research and it showed that 1.4 of every 3 men have these tendencies I just mentioned above, meaning it is almost impossible for a male child to either be one of these or have a close friend who is.
In a nutshell, what I just tried to tell you is the chances of a male child turning out useless is 40% more than that of a female child.
As for their female counterpart, prostitution is the only major ilk that has reigned supreme.
I don't need to tell you how much a girl-child looks after her parents.....
If you can successfully imbibe decency and contentedness in your girl child from a tender age and of course with God's grace, Boy! even people with 10male kids would envy you.

Yes, I do. This isn't even the full video. There's a continuation of the video where the woman was questioned and all.

About the part of 65% of Nigerians not looking what they are, I agree with you. However, it would interest you to know that not everyone that steals is broke. Kleptomaniacs exist. They have no use for what they steal/have stolen, but they do it anyway. Let's say thanks to fake life and public oppression.
For your info ma'am, amongst 100 thieves in Nigeria only 3 are kleptos..
its a disorder and very rare here in Nigeria
don't mistake a kleptomaniac for someone who actually steals to satisfy 'wants' and not 'needs'..
kleptos don't even know when they steal and can't resist the urge when it comes.
