MuchAdo: Shut up!
The post just goes to confirm that Fulanis are having it tough in the SW while it's open day for them in the SE/SS.
Of course, SE has been a conquered territory since 1970.
Yorubaland will NEVER be overrun by Fulanis!!
We shall be okay. Correct! The SW is the hardest for them to crack. They thought it’ll be a walk in the park. This is my favorite part of your post - Yorubaland will NEVER be overrun by Fulanis!! Amin ooo amin ashe |

Agboriotejoye: First of all, Arabs are generally poor. You're looking at the optics of the rich among them. Below them is debilitating poverty as well. Secondly, southern Muslims live in a westernised society, or should I say Christianised. That cultural mix is what has led them to also want a better life and rejection by their northern counterparts as fake Muslims. For example, pre-colonial Muslims attend mission schools because Awolowo made Western education compulsory, while in the north, their elites led by Ahmadu Bello taught them that the white man's ways will rob them of the purity of their religion and they should stay away from it. Your allusion to Fulani on Hausa is very correct. May I ask what tool the Fulani used in achieving this? Great write up! Great insight!! |

PHAYOL81: Sorry that was wrong. The rail project as well as the Badagry highway are state projects under the supervision of LAMATA even though there is a point that the Apapa-Oshodi-Iyana Oworo-Ojota road project shared right of way but they are different projects. What I see here is that unless the rail line is completely ready to use, the highway would not be tarred in order to avoid waste of resources which may result from reconstruction. The rail itself was conceived by Fashola administration to move on diesel alone but it has since been improved to include facilities for electricity powered trains too after the old coach Fashola bought was scrapped and the old contract revisited which led to the CCECC company coming on board hence the obvious changes we see them make to the previous construction to suit the new locomotives they'd acquired from China. Of course, fund availability was a factor thus Ambode ignored it entirely but Sanwo Olu has taken it up, approved the needed funds with consideration for the red line too which they hope to deliver by 2022. Note that this time, CCECC has been fully paid according to LAMATA and the LASG. So the onus rests on the construction company to deliver the project under the timeline. You are correct. It is a LASG project and I think Ambode should not have abandoned it. |

Kaduna1stson: The Lagos - Ibadan express news is at it again, they just want to paint the north black. The North is peaceful and better than the SW.
Do you know how peaceful the north is? There's no police or army checkpoint in the north, that's because there is peace and tranquillity here.
The SW will leave their herdsmen infested states where Sunday Ignoho is ruling to come and talk down on the peaceful north.
Do you know how many rich kids we have here in Kaduna? Come and see Ferrari, laboughini, expensive Mercedes all cruising our roads in peace. This is not Lagos-Ibadan express news. The BBC is reporting it. Don’t blame SW. See BBC link below https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-56165585 |

surgical: He made the mistake of working for the people instead of jagaban and party leaders, thinking that power belongs to the people not knowing the people of Lagos have sold their souls to jagaban for the occasional small change they sometimes get from him and have dashed Lagos to him.in other words tinubu owns Lagos, the people have no say,all power in Lagos belongs to tinubu, including the power to continually, solely impose governors , without recourse to the people's votes But you failed to mention how Ambode neglected many Fashola initiated projects. Unilke Sanwo-olu, Ambode didn’t continue working on completing all his predecessor’s projects. Many were not happy with this. |
