You know what, if I could rewrite scriptures maybe the concept of hell or lake of fire would be temporal (I.e. if I put it in there in the first place). However, no one understand why it is in the scripture and we can't explain it away.

But, some clarifications:
Time doesn't exist in the spiritual rhelm. Its just like in your dream where a 5 min dream may cover a period of 2days or more.

Although this is not clearly taught in the scriptures, I believe that just as rewards are not equal in Paradise maybe punishment in hell or lake of fire is not the same. No one knows.

In a place where time doesn't exist, 100 billion years may just pass as if it is 20 minutes and 20 minutes may pass off like eternity.

Time is a measure of linear change in events...but in the spiritual events is not linear. Events could be concurrent or overlap.

If time doesn't exist, what then is 200billion years? I hope you get the point

The lake of fire is a term to describe Gods refuse dump!
If anyone's name is NOT found in the Book of Life, he is discarded there..Rev13:8, Rev17:8

ALSO,
If your interpretation of death is correct,
1. Why did Jesus die? For His sins?
2. All the Apostles died violent deaths (except John) was it for their sins?
3. If the wages of sin is "an unconscious state" how come there is resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
4. Why would Daniel refer to some people waking up from death to everlasting shame?

Check the definition of death I presented and see whether it conflicts

Jesus died because he carried the sins of the world in his shoulders, since the wages of sin is death, he have to die.

Again the bible teaches about the resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous:
Acts 24:15: I have the same hope in God that they themselves cherish—that there is to be a resurrection of the righteous and the wicked.
(NIV).

Resurrection means calling back the dead to life, will it make sense to call back "the living in hell or heaven" to life only to judge them again? actually today, whoever dies does not go to heaven or hell, the human nature is not immortal. when you believe the human is mortal, then the hope of Resurrection takes on a real meaning for you.

I agree with you, God is a God of justice. Ok look at it this way: Human judges weigh peoples guilt according to the gravity of their crime, which is why sentences varies from fine to prison terms. And that's justice! Now the God that is of justice will now place all sinners in a burning fire for uncountable billions of years for sins committed in less than 100 to 900 years. Not only that, some committed less sin than others, but your believe in hell fire says that all sinners partake in same hellish punishment? does this sound like justice? Why no simply accept that the wages sin pays is death and not another life in a burning hell? God will never reward sin with life, not even in hell fire.

If God is Just, He must Reward Righteousness

Jeremiah 7:31: And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart (KJV) - The Jews have a custom of incinerating bodies of criminals who are adjudged undeserving of burial in the valley of Hinnom, This was clearly condemned through prophet Jeremiah, saying that it has never come into God's mind to burn people in fire. Today apostate christians have their own imaginary valley of Hinnom (hell fire) which they equally condemn those who do not accept their other apostate teachings such as trinity, immortality of the human soul, pagan holiday celebrations and a host of others.

Since it never at anytime come into God's mind to burn people on fire, He surely will not later set up fire in grander scale to burn sinners for eternity.

The bible is very clear on the wages of sin: Romans 6:23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Death is the opposite of life, a state of non-existence. The reward for righteousness is LIFE EVERLASTING in God's kingdom.

Please understand that God does not cause anybody to go hell but rather some people choose to go there on their own. One of the major causes of people going to hell is the rejection of the Creator himself and the son Jesus Christ. God has made it abundantly clear through apostle Paul that His wrath will be upon people who reject Him and the son Jesus Christ when it was written in Romans 1:18-20, which says, For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For invincible attribute, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world in the things that have been made. So there are without excuse”

So people choose to go to hell because they reject Christ, not because God causes them to go there. God allows people to be born to give them the opportunity to believe, but is man’s responsibility to make choice. In some other cases, some people have genuinely pledged their soul to Satan for money, fame or power and only God’s divine intervention can save them but if they die in that state, they will surely go to hell.

Nairalanders do you think otherwise? If yes, please give your reasons.

First of all "Hell Fire" AS you know it does not exist anywhere, it is an illusion created by God's adversary to make Him appear wicked and heartless. Today religious leaders use this lie to strike fear in the heart of their followers, making them vulnerable to exploitation. God wants true worshipers to worship Him in truth and in spirit, not for fear of burning in fire forever.

A popular Onitsha based pastor, Chinedu Strongson and four other persons, including Abigail Nwakanma, popularly called Madam Cash, were yesterday arraigned before an Asaba Chief Magistrate Court for child stealing and abduction. Others arraigned alongside the duo are Ifeoma Ayadike, Obioma Nnoruka and Chike Agwuenenu while Ebere Afam and Ekwi who were also arraigned in absentia.

The accused persons were arrested in Asaba, Okpanam in Delta State and Ogidi in Anambra State early this month by police operatives in the state over alleged cases of child stealing in Delta and other states.

They were slammed with four count charges ranging between conspiracy, child stealing, abduction, depriving and denying the suspected stolen from the custody of their parents.

The charges read thus: that you Abigail Nwakama and others mentioned above between July and September 1, 2016 within the Asaba Magisterial District conspired among yourselves to commit felony to wit; child stealing/abduction, thereby committed an offence punishable under section 516 of the Criminal Code Law Cap C21 Vol. 1, laws of Delta State of Nigeria.

Count two and three also read that the accused persons at St. Brigid’s Road in Asaba, with intent to deprive one Yahaya Aisha of the possession of her daughter, stole one Fatima Yahaya aged 11 months and took her to Onitsha and also stole one Chidiebere, eight years from the parents, thereby committed a crime punishable under the criminal code and under the Child Rights Act.

The accused persons were charged in count four between August 30, 2016 removed one Emmanuel Amuche, four years from the custody and protection of his parents, thereby committed an offence punishable under the Child Rights Acts 2003.

When the four charges were read to the accused persons, the trial Chief Magistrate ordered that the accused persons be remanded in Ogwashi Uku and Agbor Prisons while the case file be sent to the Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice. The case has been adjourned to October 10, 2016 by the court.

President Buhari’s media team has been very inconsistent in their strategy in presenting the number one citizen rightly to Nigerians. Since the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, his media team headed by Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu has been below average.

Recently the news broke of the police arresting a man who named his dog “Buhari” which drew the attention of Nigerians to the dictatorial tendencies of this government. Once again Buhari’s media team went straight to work to salvage the president from collateral damage.

While trying to solve the problem of averting the perception of Buhari as a dictator, they again painted a picture of an unserious president who picks up a newspaper only to see “cartoons” and “caricatures” at a time when Nigeria is going through one of the worst economic crises in history.

When next you complain about how bad the economy is and companies folding up, bear in mind that the man you elected to turn around the tide is busy paying attention to cartoons in the newspapers rather than reading about the real problems facing Nigerians such as inflation, naira depreciation, retrenchments, corruption, looming economic recession, and the cry for restructuring both politically and economically.

His media team created a picture that the president does not care about how Nigerians feel. All he cares about is how to look fresh and younger. To achieve this, he turns to cartoons pages of Newspapers to read and laugh while you cry.

It is yet to be seen if the presidency’s response via the media team did any damage control, but what we know now is that you can be arrested for naming your dog “Buhari”, we also know now that Buhari cares less about serious issues as he turns first to the back pages of newspapers to read cartoons, thanks to Garuba Shehu for this intriguing revelation.

Your pastor will tell you to make heaven your priority while they cash in on your gullibility in tithes and offering, they live in shameless luxury, private jets, build universities, dine with politicians etc. I wonder why people keep believing the likes of Kumuyi, oyedepo, adeboye, Oyakhilome and the rest criminals. The news here is that "heavenly bliss" is not why JESUS died.

PDP uses anyone they want and dump when they feel your usefulness is exhausted. It all changed when Sheriff was on his own and they called him to help fix the party, he came and the use and dump strategy backfired on PDP this time.
