Beaten by Spain in their opening match, Uruguay must take something from this game if they are to have any chance of progressing. To achieve that, Oscar Tabarez’s will need to reproduce the kind of form they showed late on against the world champions, when they rallied after being being 2-0 down to score a fantastic free kick and left the stadium with respect. With that idea in mind, El Maestro is contemplating making changes to his starting line-up, which could mean a return for Diego Forlan. The experienced forward has even voiced his desire to see his country through the Nigerian opposition. ‘’We know the Nigerian game is key and that the draw suits them better than it does us. If we draw the game, then it leaves things out of our hands on the final day. We need to prevent that from happening.” Fresh from their handsome defeat of Tahiti, Nigeria stand top of the group on goal difference from Spain and have slightly more margin for error. The Super Eagles should not be lulled into a false sense of security, however, and will know only too well that the Uruguayans will present a far stiffer test of their abilities than the Oceania champions. Coach Stephen Keshi has already said he will be making changes at the back in a bid to contain the effervescent twosome of Edinson Cavani and Luis Suarez. The coach said his side will remain resolute in the face of the stiff test expected from the South Americans. “Everyone is here to win and Uruguay are planning right now how to beat us. We need to improve and focus on the job in hand,” Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi. Source: www.vanguardngr.com |
What’s with some people anyway?” hissed Joshua, a commuter in the Apapa-bound bus as the bus crawled through the usual maddening traffic. Another commuter, Tayo had made a scathing remark on President Goodluck Jonathan’s government being rudderless. “I get really pissed off when people criticize for criticism sake.” “But is that not true? Is this government performing?” asked Ade. Replied Joshua: “Look, I am not saying he is the messiah but please, for God’s sake, give the guy a break! He has achieved something no matter how little. I’ve not seen a president so insulted and abused like Jonathan.” “E be like say PDP don settle you to trumpet their non-existent achievements,” said Ade to which Joshua said: “I don’t need to be paid. I have never met the man; I just hate people handing down unjust and unfair judgments. No single regard for the office he occupies. The truth is that as long as we don’t have a credible opposition, PDP will continue to rule.” “Exactly! I see Jonathan returning as a result of their unintelligent and destructive criticisms,” agreed Joe. “Impossible!” Pat exploded, “except they rig as usual.” “Let’s watch and see. The opposition will bring it to pass all by themselves, if they keep going the way they are going. Their unintelligent and non- constructive criticisms will return the man to power,” said Joe. “There’s a way you will criticize a man and he will gain the sympathy of even those who hate him. They are not attacking issues but the person of the president. I believe that for criticisms to be productive, they must be objective and constructive; not a situation where you see absolutely nothing good in whatever the man does. It makes nonsense of your criticisms,” said Joshua. “I think if the so-called opposition means well for us as they claim, what stops them from teaming up with government to better the lot of Nigerians, especially in areas of security, power and education? They are all greedy and self-serving. Put them there and they will do worse,” said Ben who had been quiet all along. Continuing, he said: “Imagine the opposition screaming blue murder when a state of emergency was declared in three states. How else did they want him to handle the situation? If they had a better option, why didn’t they come up with it? They had accused the man of doing nothing when those places burned and when he finally did something, they began to criticize him again. Haba! “That’s human beings for you, selfish. But if the man can face one sector and achieve something tangible, people’s opinion will change, believe me,” said Bayo. “When OBJ was there, he was seen as the devil and when Yar’Adua came, OBJ became a saint. Now, Yar’Adua is a saint compared to Jonathan. Jonathan will be a saint compared to the next president,” said Ben. Source:www.vanguardngr.com |

6 as a numeral is 1 less of 7, 7 means perfection in God's standpoint, by doubling d 6 into 3, it means gross imperfection. This is absolutely true of world government, which is symbolised by d beast, 666 isn't literal, its a term wch teaches dat world rulers are ''grossly'' imperfect, no matter how many ''OBAMAS'' u elect as president, dey will nva bring peace to mankind. Whoever recieves dis mark will incure the wrath of God: dis imperfection is clearly received by patriotism, patriotism is d belive in ur ''country'' rather than belive in ''CHRIST'' as the king of God's kingdom dat will bring peace to mankind, most of us av alredy received dis mark because of our strong beliv in an ''imperfect'' OBAMA or GEJ! Diz humans can nva bring peace to mankind, only JESUS can! Dat is y belivin in human rulers can incure God's wrath! |

The Jews were born as a nation at Mount Sinai, and became God's people when they, at that time, entered into the covenant with God. The entire nation, "every man of Israel," including the little ones, and their wives, were included in that covenant, "for the purpose of establishing you today as his people and that he may prove himself your God." (Deut. 29:10-13) That covenant was made with Abraham's offspring for the purpose of producing the promised Seed, thereby safeguarding the lineage through which the Messiah would come by means of whom "all nations of the earth will certainly bless themselves," according to God's promise to Abraham. (Gen. 22:16-18; Matt. 1:1-16; Luke 3:23-34) God also foretold that once this covenant had fulfilled its divine purpose, he would then make a new and better covenant with his people, thereby rendering the former old covenant obsolete. Nicodemus, a leader and teacher among the Jews, should have been familiar with God's promise of a new covenant, as foretold by the prophet Jeremiah. (Jer. 31:31-34; Heb. 8:7-9, 13) When he failed to get the sense of Jesus' words, "You people must be born again," Jesus scolded him, saying: "Are you a teacher of Israel and yet do not know these things?" (John 3:7, 9-10) Clearly, not only Nicodemus, but all the Jews should have been in expectation of the Messiah, including God's promise of making a new covenant with them. Being God's people under the old covenant, the Jews needed to be "born again" by entering into the new covenant upon termination of the old one; but how could they if they rejected the mediator of that new covenant? (Heb. 9:13-15) Only by entering into the new covenant could they inherit the promise God had made them: "And you yourselves will become to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation," for it was by means of the new covenant that this was to be fulfilled. (Exodus 19:5,6) That is why Jesus said to Nicodemus: "Unless anyone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." (John 3:3) When Jesus told Nicodemus that "anyone" [of you people, the Jews] must be born "again" in order to see the kingdom of God, he was not referring to "people of the nations," the Gentiles, who had not been previously in the old covenant, but were "alienated from the state of Israel and strangers to the covenants of the promise." (Eph. 2:11-18; Matt. 15:24) Yet, through their faith in Jesus, people of the nations could now also become God's people, under the new covenant; no, not as proselytes as before, but as genuine "sons of God." (Rom. 10:12; Gal. 3:26; Eph. 2:19-22; 1 John 3:9; 5:1) Both Jews and Gentiles are equally "born from God" when they are baptized, in obedience to Jesus' command, at which time they receive "the free gift of the holy spirit." Thus they are "born from water and spirit." This was true also in Jesus' own case. (Matt. 3:16,17; 28:19; compare Acts 2:38; 8:14-17; 10:47; 11:15-17; 19:1-6; 1 Peter 3:21) It is only by means of this new covenant that anyone can enjoy a personal relationship with God, just as he foretold regarding it: "'I will become their God, and they themselves will become my people." (Jer. 31:33; Acts 15:14-18) At the moment of a person's baptism, he also receives the benefits of the ransom, including the forgiveness of his previous sins. (1 John 2:-3, 12) He is now a member of God's household, which is God's holy temple, "a place for God to inhabit by spirit." (Eph. 2:21,22; 3:5,6; 1 Cor. 3:16,17) As long as he remains within God's temple he is assured of inheriting God's kingdom, which means the everlasting life that God promised, and as Jesus told Nicodemus. (John 3:16; Jude 21; Heb. 6:4-6; Matt. 13:40-43) The vast majority of mankind will live right here on earth, according to God's original purpose for Adam and his offspring; whereas a small number are chosen by God from among Christ's disciples to rule with Jesus in his heavenly kingdom, by which God will bring about the blessings to the nations that he first promised to Abraham. (Daniel 7:13,14, 27; Matt. 5:5; 6:10; 19:27,28; Rev. 3:21; 20:6) Summary: • "Born again" does not refer to some sort of spiritual resurrection. • The nation of Israel was born as God's people at Mount Sinai when God made the covenant with them, with Moses as the mediator, " for the purpose of establishing you today as his people and that he may prove himself your God ." (Deut. 29:12,13) • God foretold: "Look! There are days coming and I will conclude with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah a new covenant; not one like the covenant that I concluded with their forefathers . . . I will put my law within them, and in their heart I shall write it. And I will become their God, and they themselves will become my people." (Jer. 31:31-33; Heb. 8:6-13) Please note, with the new covenant they would renew their relationship with God as his people; he would become their God again, and they his people again. • The foretold new covenant became operative on the day of Pentecost, with Jesus as the mediator, when he poured out the holy spirit upon the 120 disciples. (Acts 2:1-42; Heb. 9:13-15, 18-22) • Isaiah's prophecy was fulfilled on Pentecost: "Before she began to come into labor pains she gave birth. Before birth pangs could come to her, she even gave deliverance to a male child. Who has heard of a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Will a land be brought forth with labor pains in one day? Or will a nation be born at one time? For Zion has come into labor pains as well as given birth to her sons ." (Isaiah 66:7, The Jews, who exercisedfaith in the mediator Christ Jesus, became the nation that was born at one time, in one day. They were thus born again, again becoming God's people while He again became their God. The Jews who failed to enter into the new covenant, by rejecting the mediator, would no longer be God's covenant people. (Paul in his letter to the Galatians illustrates the two covenants by comparing them to the birth of Hagar's son and Sarah's son; Gal. 4:21-31; Rom. 10:1-4; Heb. 8:13) Nicodemus, as a teacher of Israel, should have known these prophecies, as Jesus indicated to him. (John 3:9,10) When he went to visit Jesus that night, he had the privilege of being instructed by the mediator of the new covenant. This is what Jesus was impressing on him. -------------------------------- The terms "born again" and "new birth" are not interchangeable . They do not refer to the same thing! Whereas "born again" applied to the Jews in the first century, who were in the old covenant but needed to be brought into the new covenant, upon the termination of the old covenant (as discussed above); the "new birth," mentioned by Peter, refers to those of Jesus' disciples who will rule with him in his heavenly kingdom. (1 Peter 1:3-5) This hope of going to heaven is something new, for it did not exist prior to Jesus time. It remained God's "sacred secret" (mystery) until the time when it began to be fulfilled, starting with the choosing of the twelve apostles, and applies only to the ones who are chosen by God, the number of which will eventually total 144,000. (Rev. 14:1, 3; Rom. 16:25,26; 1 Cor. 2:7) Even John the Baptist, the greatest "among those born of women," was not among these, nor did he know anything about this new hope reserved for them. (Matt. 11:11; 25:34-46) All of God's people are "born from water and spirit," but they do not all have the "new birth." * Footnote: Regarding the two loaves presented on the day of Pentecost, Insight on the Scriptures, Vol. 2, page 599, states: "The fact that there were two loaves of newly ripened grain that were presented to Jehovah at Pentecost indicates that more than one person would be involved in the fulfillment. It may also point to the fact that those who become spirit-begotten followers of Jesus Christ would be taken from two groups on earth: First from the natural circumcised Jews, and later from all the other nations of the world, the Gentiles." (bold mine) The second loaf presented to Jehovah at Pentecost cannot symbolize spirit-begotten Gentiles, for Gentiles were not presented to Jehovah until three and a half years later, with the baptism and anointing of Cornelius. (Acts 10:44-48) Since the two loaves were presented together, and for them to have any significance, they must also represent "two groups" who were present on that occasion together, namely the 120 anointed disciples, and those immediately joined to them, the 3,000 who were not anointed with the spirit but were also baptized and presented to Jehovah, being brought into the new covenant. This second group, or loaf, would be cared for by the ones who had been anointed for that purpose, and thus both groups were "being built up together into a place for God to inhabit by spirit." Significantly, Insight on the Scriptures, Vol. 2, (page 599, par. 1) notes, "After the loaves were waved, one of them was taken by the high priest, and the second was divided among all the officiating priests." —Luke 12:42-44; John 21:15-17; Acts 2:1-4, 37-42; Eph. 2:21,22; 1 Peter 5:2-4. Another reason why the second loaf cannot represent spirit begotten Gentiles is because of Jehovah's promise in connection with his covenant made at Mount Sinai with only natural Israelites. "'And now if YOU will strictly obey my voice and will indeed keep my covenant, then YOU will certainly become my special property out of all [other] peoples, because the whole earth belongs to me. And YOU yourselves will become to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.' These are the words that you are to say to the sons of Israel." —Exodus 19:5,6. Since the festival of Pentecost (also known as the "Festival of Harvest," "Festival of Weeks," and "the day of the first ripe fruits" , was part of the Law"spoken by Moses to all the people" in connection with the covenant Jehovah made with them, if the second loaf presented to Jehovah on that day represented "spirit-begotten followers of Jesus Christ" taken from among Gentiles then Jehovah was telling his people from the very beginning of making his covenant that the promise he made to them, about becoming a "kingdom of priests and a holy nation," was unattainable for them, and thus he was already illustrating to them, yes, reminding them yearly on that date, that they would eventually be replaced by people of the nations. (Ex. 23:16; 34:22; Num. 28:26; Heb. 9:19,20) That would render all his future appeals to his people to return to him meaningless, even hypocritical, for he had already determined to reject them from the beginning, that is, if the second loaf indeed pictured anointed Gentiles. —2 Chr. 36:15; Jer. 44:4,5. But Jehovah is not the kind of God who makes false promises, as Insight on the Scriptures, Vol. 1, page 1138, assures us: "Jehovah God is the Source of true hope and the One able to fulfill all his promises and the hopes of those trusting in him. It is through his undeserved kindness that he has given mankind “comfort and good hope.” (2Th 2:16) He has been the hope of righteous men in all ages. He was called “the hope of Israel” and “the hope of [Israel’s] forefathers” (Jer 14:8; 17:13; 50:7), and many are the expressions of hope, trust, and confidence in him in the Hebrew Scriptures. In his loving-kindness toward his people, even when they were going into exile for disobedience to him, he said to them: “I myself well know the thoughts that I am thinking toward you, . . . thoughts of peace, and not of calamity, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jer 29:11) Jehovah’s promise kept alive the faith and hope of faithful Israelites during the Babylonian exile; it greatly strengthened men such as Ezekiel and Daniel, for Jehovah had said: “There exists a hope for your future, . . . and the sons will certainly return to their own territory.” (Jer 31:17) That hope came to fruition when a faithful Jewish remnant returned in 537 B.C.E. to rebuild Jerusalem and its temple.—Ezra 1:1-6." By Jide Ajani An unadulterated nightmare! That is what Nigeria’s political space is. Yet, those who occupy and operate within that space would tell you that they are very much at home, indeed happy, operating within that space. Make no mistakes there is absolute normality in the abnormal ambience of that space. Still, talk to the major actors and the response you get is “you won’t understand”! Well understanding an act of mental disorder is one thing; relating with it is another. And that is where Nigerian politicians miss the point. Nigerians have indeed come to understand why they rig or annul elections. What Nigerians have refused to get used to or relate with is the reason (s) that politicians peddle for their serial acts of misdemeanour. Before we move on, let us seek knowledge from the American Psychiatric Association, APA. APA publishes a Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorder and its fifth edition hit the bookstands penultimate week. The DSM series seeks to “set strict criteria for identifying mental disorders…. And it has become the global standard for the description of mental illness”. The power and influence that the DSM series wields is so enormous that most people who seek it consider it as the “psychiatric bible”. Now, this latest publication in the series presents the thinking of the association on what constitutes a disorder of the mind. It has its shortcomings because it “medicalises normal behavior”. Another drawback is that scientists are being advised not to allow the approach of APA’s work to influence wrongly their own quest for diagnosis and treatment. Of note here is the fact that the human brain, with 100billion nerve cells, has the capacity to process very complex pieces of information for the use of humans. Relating this to the Nigerian politician is crucial within the context of attempting to fully understand why a group of people do not see the illusion and mental ill-health in pursuing and actually doing the same thing over and over while expecting different results or outcomes. Two issues are linked inexorably here, though purely coincidentally. 20years ago this month, a presidential election was held and a winner emerged. Before the election, there were last-minute efforts to introduce shambles. Later, while the results were being announced, all sorts of shenanigans played out ultimately leading to the annulment of that election. At the end of the day, the entire transition programme of the Third Republic came to an abrupt end. And with it, billions of Naira, and millions of man-hours went down the drain with that dangerously shambolic conclusion to that Republic. 20 years after, some of the lives which were ruined along with businesses which collapsed have not come back to life just as careers abruptly ended have not picked up. The human cost of the events of June 12, 1993 remains incalculable. 20years after, just penultimate week, a group of state governors, after voting to elect a chairman for their Nigeria Governors’ Forum, NGF, stormed out of the voting venue, raised objections and sought to misrepresent the events in which they had just participated. In fact, what they told Nigerians was not correct in every material particular. They claimed that there was no election and that there was a list of 18 state governors who had earlier endorsed the candidacy and eventual chairmanship of Jonah Jang of Plateau State. Meanwhile, the result of the voting which they participated in showed that Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State scored 19 votes to Jang’s 16 – 35 state governors were in attendance and they all voted. For added effect, there is a video evidence of their actual participation in the process. The relationship between the June 12 presidential election of 20years ago and the voting exercise of the NGF is in the outcome: An election was held and a clique decides for other Nigerians that because it lost, then to hell with every other Nigerian. Unfortunately for the pro-President Goodluck Jonathan state governors who are insisting that Jang who lost should become the chairman, it was this same madness that played out in 1993 when state governors of the National Republican Convention, NRC, who had seen the hand writing on the wall that its presidential candidate was on the verge of losing the election, instigated a rejection of the election results. When the military struck, it did not differentiate between the Social Democratic Party, SDP, governors and their NRC counterparts. Mercifully today, military dictatorship is an anachronism. So, perish that thought of any adventure. However, locating the recent events of the NGF, that is insulting the sensibilities of Nigerians all over again, 20years after the June 12 debacle, within the context of a disorder may not be too far from the truth. The body does not have any constitutional relevance in the scheme of things; but because some Nigerian politicians reason backwardly atimes, they have convinced themselves that appellations and sobriquets are all that is required to win general elections and not performance. MKO Abiola and IBB Worse still, President Jonathan’s seemingly glowing mid-term transformation performance is being dulled by the meddlesomeness of some of his confidants and the poisoning of the political space with conducts that are less than noble – on the 20th anniversary of June 12. Meanwhile, President Jonathan, at the PDP Family Dinner, endorsed the falsehood that was presented to him when he acknowledged Jang as chairman of the NGF – that is a situation a President should not be putting himself. In all this, two more years plus another four years for President Jonathan’s Second Term might seem like eternity today (20 years have since passed since the June 12 imbroglio). But he would do well to ask Olusegun Obasanjo or Ibrahim Babangida how it feels to look back In conclusion, take this: What mental disposition influences adults to behave the way some pro- Jonathan governors behaved penultimate Friday regarding the election of a chairman for NGF? Discuss. Source: vanguard 01/06/13 |

She is the wife of the governor. That makes her the First Lady of the state. She stands tall above other women and everything she does becomes news. Not even her closet is spared from scrutiny-everyone wants to see what she wore and where! Style pundits feast on her clothes and the pricey accessories she adorns. But not all First Ladies really have a grasp of what style means. For a select few who have, here is an abridged version of their style books. Bisi Fayemi She is the First Lady of Ekiti State. With a degree in History from the University of Ife, she also earned a masters degree from the University of Middlesex in Gender and Society. She is the President, African Women's Development Fund. Fayemi's style is simple but gorgeous. You can't but notice her turban/headgear. Of this she says, "I do the turban myself and I tie any style but someone helps with my gele." She is also a buff of indigenous fabrics but she would tell you she is not a designer label freak. "I don't care about designer labels. I am more concerned about comfort because style is about comfort and that is what I go for in any design." Her designers? Ituen Bassey, Ayoola Violet Braids, Joke Okeowo and Renee Acquah, who is resident in Ghana. Her favourite colours remain purple, blue, and coffee brown. Accessories she loves? "I love pearls, silver and gold," she says. Clara Chime By virtue of being married to Governor Sullivan Chime, this fair-complexioned beauty is the First Lady of Enugu State. In her 30s, the graduate of Marketing from the Abia State University is the youngest First Lady in the South-East region. Immensely attractive; graceful and elegant are some of the words that have been used to describe her. Averagely built, her style is one that embodies simplicity, humility and yet, is up-to-date. Most times, she favours the traditional mode of dressing and thus, she opts for long skirts and blouses made from Ankara fabrics and sometimes, exquisite foreign lace fabrics. For accessories, she is a devoted wearer of gold jewellery and other precious stones. Clara is the founder of Child and Mother Empowerment, a pet project with special focus on women and children. Yemisi Suswam The delectable Benue State First Lady rates as one of the prettiest of the pack. An architect by training, she would tell you being a governor's wife is much more than being fashionable. "It does not mean extravagance," she says in an interview. Style, she believes, should hinge on comfort. Of Emure Ekiti extraction, she explains: "I'm now a Tiv woman and we are known to be simple. I wear things that make me comfortable. To me, that is style. You are dressed up in your way and still very comfortable. I love looking good but not at the expense of my service to humanity. Nobody would remember you for those expensive clothes you wore, but you would make a mark in life by the lives you have touched. Fashion is also charity." Funso Amosun Her 21-year-old marriage to Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the Ogun State governor, positions her as the First Lady. A mother of five, she is a graduate of English Education from the University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University. Soft-spoken and trim for a 47-year-old, she is a stickler for indigenous fabrics. Hear her: "I am an indigene of Ogun State and a citizen of Nigeria. So, I am supposed to be an ambassador for African clothing. Besides, I love being comfortable and simple. So, I would not be caught wearing anything uncomfortable and vulgar." Judith Amaechi The 43-year-old First Lady of Rivers State, Judith Amaechi, is a mother of three. A graduate of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology, where she bagged a bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, Judith like her predecessors in office, has cultivated a style only very few dare have reasons to criticise. In the South-South region, she easily ranks among the best-dressed wives of state governors. The founder of Empowerment Support Initiative, a non-governmental organisation, Amaechi oscillates between local and international fashion. Omolewa Ahmed The wife of the Kwara State governor and founder of Life Empowered Anchors Hope Charity Foundation might be adjudged a simple woman but this does not affect the way she dresses in any way. One of the best-dressed First Ladies from the North Central region, Omolewa Ahmed is an epitome of values, yet she remains stylish. Owing to lifestyle and religion, she is often found wearing native attire in different hues. Whether made from local Ankara or imported fabrics, she always stands out. Her ability to determine what styles suit her is one other thing she has going for her beside her use of matching accessories. Margaret Peter-Obi Bold and assertive in her dressing, she is married to Governor Peter Obi and she represents an embodiment of style. A quintessential model, she demonstrates without repentance that sophistication is her maxim. Her laudable style is colourful and conspicuous. In her 40s, the lover of everything modern is blessed with an interesting silhouette that ensures clothes of every kind sit well on her. She has a desirable penchant for native and western attire which she adorns without restraint depending on the occasion, hence her rich wardrobe. She has been pictured at functions wearing some exquisitely crafted jewellery that would make many go green with envy. Kemi Mimiko Well built, the First Lady of Ondo State has proved over time her ability to enhance her best features. Apart from her humanitarian works, another way she draws attention to herself is via her dressing. A lover of the traditional iro and buba, she also favours boubous of all colours and designs. In keeping true to African tradition, she accessorises with aso-oke most of the time. Elegant looking and dark-skinned, her use of make-up is minimal and this boosts her facial structures. She also loves to wear choice jewellery like her contemporaries. Nafisa Yuguda One of the daughters of the late President Musa Yar'adua, Nafisa got married to the Bauchi State governor, Isa Yuguda in 2009. The wedding, which was celebrated amid pomp, was a revelation on the style of the lady who did not fail to impress everyone present that she is indeed a style pundit. Since then, she has not lowered her standard and has instead, raised the bar higher. Interestingly, while her style can be described as conservative, the delicate looking beauty has a rich assortment of clothes made from exotic fabrics. While she is not favourably disposed to wearing western attire, she gets heart thumping whenever she makes an appearance at state functions. An ardent fan of exquisite jewellery, she boasts of a rich collection of assorted precious stones too and she never fails to pair them with her clothes. |
Am a guy that once believe I can date one girl, love her, be faithful and plan my future prospect with her. Actually I did it with one girl, I spent 3yrs plus with her, I brought her close 2 my family, I also became close 2 her ppl. At some point I trusted her with all my heart! There is nothing I dnt tell her about me. She was 20 and am 25 when we broke up. It was when we broke up that d girl called me 3wks later that she is getting married! She decided 2 confess all her sins to me, Lo an behold she was never faithful to me! She told me although she love me, but she found som1 better. The shock on me was too much back then. That was my 1st and only relationship. 10months later now, I have grown up to become a big boy, I have the opportunity of having any girl I wnt 2 tangle with. Untill 6months to my marriage date I will never tell a girl I love you! Girls think they are smart and wise, but guyz have it all. LET THE GAME BEGIN! |
obyrich: Soon their foot soldiers will land to berate you. Brother, those men are undercover agents of the devil. One of them in Aba, was boasting on television how he killed a man who attempted to attack a member of his church by prayers. When the members cheered him, he boasted that he was not yet done with the killing. He went further to tell them he would kill the person preparing charms for the attacker and all else involved in the attack! I took aback in shock. Clearly many present day christians in Nigeria have totally lost it. They follow these men foolishly without questioning them. The bible said that the devil can disguise as an angel of light. At a point in the ministry of Christ, he got fed up with the hypocrisy of the pharisees and the Sadducees that he kept attacking them openly when he preached. Christ had to turn the table of money changers in the temple. He wasn't a docile law-abiding citizen. He was a meek radical who strongly believed in 'non-violent change'. He had the guts to challenge the opinion leaders at his time. But not so with these pastorpreneurs.ppl av been blinded by der lies 4 a very long time, I too was once der follower, but am gr8ful 2 God dat I find my way out, soon diz ppl dey meddle wit (politicians) will turn against dem jst as d beast decended on d gr8 harlot in d book of revelation! |
To the ordinary man, or a carnal man, pastors are servants of God. It will be a shock for d whole world one day to know that these men are anti-christs. They have many tactics and strategy of making ppl beliv they serve the living God! But ironically they serve d devil. The following are their stretegies: 1. Hellfire: their most viable weapon is using hellfire as a bait. They lay more emphasis in d pain of hellfire than the love of God. They preach repent to avoid going to hell, as if Christ came to preach hell. Truth is there is no such thing as a concious eternal torment in hell, in death there is no pain or sorow, joy or happiness. Christ preached d kingdom of God, not hellfire! 2. Fear: another strategy is using the fear of d unkwn to scare their audience. They present d devil as very powerful and gr8, even to d xtent of comparing d power of God wit d devil. They will now give u anointing oil and holywater to lay by ur bed @ night, to avoid being killed or oppressed by d devil. Fear is a natural tin, these men just xploit it in order to gain followers. 3. Philosophy: some of these pastors are Ph.d holders, while some are highly philosophical. In a typical councelling session, they will make u say ur problems 1st, then after pouring out ur heart, they will use intellectual philosophy and psychology to answer u back, mixing it wit a few twisted scriptures. Wit a thrilling response dat will captivate d unsuspecting victim, a new soul have been worn! In all dey will make u beliv dey were inspired, actually dey are not, if atall dey are, its frm d devil! 4. Prosperity: dis is anoda viable weapon! Everybody wnts to prosper, especially financially. All they do is tell u what u wnt to hear! 5. Mystifying everything: to these pastors, evrytin is mystery! If u av sex in d dream, dey will say u have spiritual spouse, fly dey will say u are a witch, sweem in d dream dey will say u are possessd by mermed spirit, evrytin is just mystry! Is it really so? Once u by der lies, u will be turned into a devoted member! 6. De-emphasizing morality and righteousness: nobody wnt 2 always hear he/she is a sinner! Diz men knws dat very well! Dat is y dey allow all sorts of indecent dressing in der churches, dey even engage in imorality wit some of der female members, some even involve in gay! Diz men use dis freestyle tactics of ''it doesn't mattter'' to lure members! Politics: u can hardly separate diz men frm politics. Dey are either frnds of highly place politicians or dey are d actual players. In der sermons dey like telling der members of der dealings wit d governors, presidents, senators and honorables, by doing dis dey become very influential and powerful, making der members look up to dem as a demi god! The lis can go on and on, indeed der are still christians on earth, but definitely not diz men dat prey on ppls ignorance and weaknesses! |

The campaign for President Goodluck Jonathan’s re-election received a boost Thursday with the people of Urhobo ethnic nationality in Delta State threatening to march Unclad on the streets of Nigeria, if Jonathan fails to seek re-election in 2015. Describing Jonathan as the best President that Nigeria has ever had, the people listed the rare qualities and credentials of the President to justify their insistence that he must be returned in 2015 to consolidate the gains already recorded by him. The Urhobo natives, who made their position, clear when they met with the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta, Mr. Kingsley Kuku, in Abuja on Thursday, stated that Jonathan had impressed them and that they would still vote for him in the next election. The leader of the Movement for the Survival of Urhobo Ethnic Nationalities, Chief Rex Anigoro, pointed out that contrary to the castigation of Jonathan for weakness and non-performance, the President had actually surpassed the mark attained by his predecessors. “We make bold to say that in 2015 we will still vote for President Jonathan because of his outstanding performance so far. But let us warn that if he refuses to run, we will march Unclad through the streets of Nigeria to compel him to do so. “Tell Mr. President that the Urhobo people stand solidly behind him because for the first time in the history of Nigeria a President has declared state of emergency with democratic institutions still intact, the railway system that had since been abandoned is back while the power sector is receiving a boost just as strikes in our universities have ended. “And we are very proud of President Jonathan because of all Nigeria’s presidents, he is the most educated, most responsible and responsive, most experienced and most qualified to run this country and did not emerge out of accident as some people will want to say. “We want Nigerians to know that Jonathan is not an accidental President but a well trained leader, who has proved that it is possible for any Nigerian to lead the country through the dint of hard work, dedication and commitment to the cause of their fatherland. The Urhobo group however castigated the recent attempt by some of their natives to forge an alliance with the Arewa youths with a view to achieving some political ambitions in 2015, saying that those persons did not have the mandate of the generality of the people to do so. The Presidential Adviser on Niger Delta, Kingsley Kuku, used the forum to brief the Urhobo group on steps so far taken by the Jonathan’s administration to restore peace in the Niger Delta through the Amnesty programme and called on them to continue to work for peace progress of the nation. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/05/urhobo-threaten-to-march-Unclad-if-jonathan-refuses-to-run/ |
