The issue of gathering means a lot to the true God {Job 1:6} because that's where His worshipers (intelligent creatures like angels and humans) could be informed fully and we shouldn't forget that our very existence largely depends on such info. Jesus reminds us of what God said to the Israelites in ancient times:

"Man must live, not on bread alone, but on every word that comes from Jehovah’s mouth." Matthew 4:4; Deuteronomy 8:3

Of course we have physical foods used to feed and nourish our physical bodies but the most important is life saving informations which we can only get through careful reading, diligent study and wholesome association with fellow believers {Hebrews 10:24-25} even those taking the lead in worship needs encouragement also from their fellow worshipers! Romans 1:11-12 and Isaiah 35:3

One may ask:
Can't i just read my Bible and pray to my God without having to mingle with people?
Are these not the same people causing the problems i'm facing?
So why must i assemble with them?

Such kind of reasoning is deceiving!

Why?

Because it's when we gather together the Holy Spirit is released to influence our thinking skills {Matthew 18:20} so as to understand what we are reading in God's word {John 14:26} and it's when we understands that we can all apply to enjoy it's practical benefits which is peace! John 14:27

Quite true. JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are actually one of the few denominations who are still following Christ. Most churches now are headed by motivational speakers who only use the name of Jesus to preach other things. The goal is to attract members to their church and the members will bring the money.

I would love to be a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS, because of their gentle life. Relaxed service and programs(not those stressful and loud types), and serenity of their church yard. Infact, its this serenity of their abode that blows my mind!

But the thing that worries me, is their misled teachings. How can you say that we are not going to die, but remain on earth and unite with our love ones and live happily together forever!

Jesus is the only begotten son of the true God but there is one thing that makes Jesus happy mostly:

Because it's only within the congregation of true worshipers God will command His blessings as in His eternal blessings! Psalms 133:3

So whoever fails to associate with such a gathering will not inherit God's eternal blessings! Hebrews 10:24-31

You must love God with all your soul, strength, heart and mind {Mark 12:30} yet there's no way you can prove your love for God if you don't cherish and love the congregation of His worshipers! 1John 4:20

Tell me the name of a child molester you know in your own neighborhood who is a JW!

In the beginning God created a couple and they were supposed to multiply and fill planet earth with their offsprings until people are living in all the parts of this planet. The perpetrators of these evil acts come from the loins of the rebellious couple but since God was double sure of what He made God promised that some among the descendants of these wicked couple will prove to be different from their parents in fact these faithful ones will exhibit the fine attributes of their Creator.
So when Adam and Eve started having children their first son (Cain) was a rebel just like his parents but the second child proved to be totally different from his entire family and right from that moment God started keeping a record of the names of humans who proved to be obedient among the descendants of Adam till today! Malachi 3:16 compare to Revelations 20:15
These obedient ones will inherit eternal blessings God intended for Adam and Eve but which they despised. Matthew 25:34
But before they could be fully approved for everlasting life each of them must become like Jesus in thought, word and actions so they need to be taught all the things Jesus commanded his disciples before they can be granted everlasting life.
So after Jesus and his angels have destroyed all rebellious humans in just one day {Luke 19:27} he (Jesus) will bring back faithful people who died right from Abel {Hebrews 11:4-32} till the last whose names are recorded in God's memory {John 5:28-29} then another set of humans will also be resurrected though these ones never had any dealings with the true God due to the times they lived or their geographical locations they had no opportunity of knowing the true God but they lived by their God's given conscience:

For the hearers of law are not the ones righteous before God, but the doers of law will be declared righteous. God will bring back these people for them to learn all the things Jesus commanded Christians! Revelations 20:11-13

So both ancient servants of God and people who made themselves prisoners of conscience will be raised back to life for Christians to teach them what Christ our Master, Lord and King taught us.

According to Jesus this other sheep aren't of the same fold with his first one but he will also bring them into the same sheephouse so they may all come under one shepherd.
Before we figure out what Jesus meant by his other sheep let's find out what he meant by sheep in the first instance.

A sheep is a domestic animal that always rely on guidance so for a sheep to feed and grow well it needs the presence of a shepherd who leads it to where it could get good pasture {Psalms 23:2} but what if the shepherd is busy doing something else? Well a skillful shepherd will not leave his sheep if he has only one but where they are many he must train some of the sheep to act in his absence so if they are in thousands he will group them into fifties or more then a trained sheep will guide each fifties while all the trained sheep also have another sheep that will lead the whole thousands.
So when they hear the voice of the lead sheep all of them no matter what they're doing will move at once and start following the lead sheep.

In like manner Jehovah God is the shepherd who has trained one sheep to lead the rest of his millions of sheep that one sheep is Jesus Christ that's why the Bible often call Jesus the lamb of God {John 1:29; Revelations 7:17} he is rightly called the lamb because a big sacrifice is required to save obedient mankind as in sheeplike humans from sin and death but only a perfect human equal to Adam could offer this sacrifice with his own life! Mark 10:45 compare to 1Corinthans 15:45

So when Jesus started gathering people in the first century he selected 12 men to serve as trained sheep that will guide the flock! John 21:15-17

This little group will grow to 144,000 humans to serve as kings and priests with the lamb of God! Revelations 14:1

This group are special before God because they've been fully tested as real sheep of Christ that's why Jesus said from Abel till John the baptist none of them is as great as one of these special group {Matthew 11:11} Jesus has trained them so as to fitness they come first that's why they will be taken to heaven along with him as his corulers! Revelations 20:5-6

So the question again comes to mind.

Quite true. JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are actually one of the few denominations who are still following Christ. Most churches now are headed by motivational speakers who only use the name of Jesus to preach other things. The goal is to attract members to their church and the members will bring the money.

They remain the most peaceful Christian denomination.
They do not pay tithes. They are the only Christian denomination yet to be commercialized. They are my favourite.
Cons:
They do not recite the national anthem.
They do not participate in elections.
They do not accept blood transfusion.

I am convinced that JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES are the real religion, they do everything in line with the bible.

I would love to be a JEHOVAH'S WITNESS, because of their gentle life. Relaxed service and programs(not those stressful and loud types), and serenity of their church yard. Infact, its this serenity of their abode that blows my mind!

But the thing that worries me, is their misled teachings. How can you say that we are not going to die, but remain on earth and unite with our love ones and live happily together forever!

Perhaps these are not Nairalanders!

Charles Taxes Russell founded a group but Jehovah's Witnesses Organization is not that group because there are many things Russell believed in his time that Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe today and if you care to know there is a group in America till today that worships Russell and stick to what he believed in his lifetime.

They can't preach and teach from house to house and door to door like Jehovah's Witnesses are doing today because Russell never did or teach them that.

They celebrates birthdays and Christmas till today because Russell does all these in his lifetime.

They don't have elders in their midst as Jehovah's Witnesses have today because only Russell was pastor in his lifetime.

They can't stop members from joining politics and military service like Jehovah's Witnesses do in their midst because Russell doesn't know what is wrong with these things in his lifetime.

So you people are like Jews who kept saying Jesus and all his disciples are followers of John the baptist who started baptizing people in the first century since that's what Jesus and his disciples are also doing afterwards. Despite the fact that Jesus and his disciples achieved so much that John couldn't achieve in his lifetime those faithless Jews insisted that John founded Christianity!
