Satan introduced politics both in heaven and on earth with that many angels and humans fell for the bait as each wants to have a higher place than their former status.

That's how evil began.

So if anyone is pleased with lowly status God will exalt such ones but whoever is pursuing high status God humbles them that's the only thing that distinguish between good and evil people from God's standpoint!
