What is the purpose of Good News?

If you don't know why something must be preached surely you can't understand the teacher.

Imagine someone wants to become an engineer so he enrolled himself in school but found a class where the teacher is teaching his students how to bake do you think that student is in the right place?

The same applies to the Good News of God's Kingdom which John the baptist, Jesus of Nazareth and all his disciples were instructed to preach! Matthew 3:2; 4:17; 10:7

So until you know the purpose of this Good News you can't understand the teacher!🤔

The secret of morality is hiding behind one fact:
The one and only source of life who is the Almighty God!

With you (JEHOVAH) is the source of life; By your light we can see light. Continue showing your loyal love to those who know you, And your righteousness, to the upright in hear. Psalms 36:9-10

Highlighted in red explains it all we can only have morals if we know the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob that is when our morality (righteousness) can stand tall above all other source of morality that humans can think of. Isaiah 48:17-18

Satan blinded the minds of unbelievers {2Corinthians 4:4} knowing fully well that if majority of people could identify the one and only true religion everyone will see clearly that morality (righteousness) can only come from one source {Psalms 15:1-5} that is why Satan created tens of thousands of different religions all claiming they are Christians today but whoever wants to know the only true religion will find the truth! John 8:32🙂

The people Paul wrote this letter to had only one central unit of control which is in Jerusalem {Act 2:42} so as one organization {John 17:22} whenever any issue arises that could cause a division among them which they must not allow {1Corinthans 1:10} they will send their brothers to Jerusalem to know what should be done on such matters! Act 15:1-2

Today the religions claiming Christians are different religions with contradicting teachings and conflicting doctrines therefore they are not one religion like the group to whom Paul's letter was addressed.

That is why it's necessary for any wise individual to find out which of all these religions is practicing what the first century disciples of Christ practiced in the first century and only Jehovah's Witnesses are doing that today! Matthew 7:16-18🙂

Jesus preached to people just as others also preached before him, performed miracles just as others did before him and worshiped God like others before him but that doesn't stop him from being God's choicest worshiper!

So when he said:

"I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me" John 14:6

The reason is because there is no better worshiper of God than Jesus.

So present a better performing group than Jehovah's Witnesses not a group that did something before Jehovah's Witnesses!🙂

First century disciples of Christ rejected military service and public offices because it involves worshiping Roman Emperor and Constantine who merged pagan roman worship with the church has the ambition of strengthening his own government.
Less than a century ago the worship of human rulers still seems OK until the death of Adolf Hitler whose people (Germans) must say "hail Hitler" to prove they are real Germans and today do you remember the first sentence in the national anthem?

First century disciples of Christ don't participate in military services because Roman Emperor is the sole determinant of whatever the army does which makes the emperor more or less a god my guy still doesn't understand what Jesus meant when he told us:

Later God's holy spirit enlightened our first century brothers that Jesus was talking about each disciple having his own complete copy of the holy writings (Scriptures) which they later referred to as "SWORD". Ephesians 6:17; Hebrews 4:12

In fact when apostle John saw Jesus in his spiritual body the utterances protruding our of his mouth appeared as a SWORD! Revelation 19:15

So my guy each Jehovah's witness in all the earth have a complete copy of the Bible the SPIRITUAL SWORD today and if any of us doesn't have one we will sell whatever we have to buy one but thanks to the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses even though Bible is really costly today there is no single JW throughout the world who doesn't have a complete copy of the Bible as they wisely managed the resources gotten to make sure each of us no matter how poor that country is all JWs in that country will have a Bible each!

Your ministry is about people who got converted through your ministry that is what makes your ministry FRUITFUL.

When Kumuyi started it looks like he is getting things right as we often see his church members preaching on streets and in public buses but after some time members of his church got tired as their leader refused to join in street preaching and rich members in their church only attend Sunday and weekly services which means the street and bus preaching is only for the poor!😟

According to Christ Jesus the fruit of your ministry are the people who have become members through what you taught so if their mind is not inclined towards the preaching and teaching work then something is wrong with your ministry {Matthew 7:15-20} because Christ Jesus should be the tree to which you must be connected {John 15:5} and if you are connected to Christ then all those that became believers through your ministry should become preachers and teachers of God's word everywhere they are. That is what makes you a real minister not just your fame in the society!😟

The biblical meaning of MINISTRY totally differs from what most religionists called Christians does today.
Jesus' ministry began with few Jews and he instructed them one and all to go out and make more disciples which means followers who will also become preachers and teachers everywhere they are {Matthew 28:19-20; Act 1:8} but today what many call ministry is a business enterprise where someone gathers supposed worshipers to make money.
So i would have said Kumuyi's ministry is bigger but are Deeperlifers still doing the preaching zealously as they used to decades ago?
Jesus said by their fruits you will know them {Matthew 7:16-18} therefore since members of these religions are not active in the work Jesus who is the founder of Christianity assigned to his disciples i will say none of them have a REAL ministry.
Of course they have gathered worshipers for their own money making venture {Act 20:30} but for ministry it's a no.

In the first century Christian converts do stop jobs like military service or holding public office that's why Roman emperors ordered the killing of those leading the group (CHRISTIANITY) they believe the group is dangerous just as you feel towards Jehovah's Witnesses today!🙂
