Colson: if you'll call it exploitation, then most Nigerian men are exploitative. 60 year old ned nwokos going after girls young enough to be their daughter and manipulating them with money. You only see that in Nigeria.
In both scenarios both of the young folks consented to the relationship which is obvious a transactional one. if that is, I don't think I should be that concerned
Colson: why should women have shame but men should not? I want to understand the way you Nigerian men think, cuz Una iq really low.
This is where you get it wrong, men and women are two different beings, comparing both will continue to sound ridiculous.
If the dude has always had interest on old women I'm sure he must've picked a black old woman instead, what percentage of young black dudes get married to a old black female.
Moreover this woman would've passed her menopause, should we still call this love abi exploitation
TUBLEZ: bro i intend to get a laptop for cinematography and video editing, this spec was given to me by my tutor>> Laptop Specs for Video Editing i5 or i7 16Gb ram 512gb SSD Drive 2gb Dedicated Vram when r checked the prices of new ones they r way above my budget, I don't know if u hv a sure plug for London used because am so scared of buying used laptop 😳 my budget is 200-250K
Yes that's a good spec they've recommended, but I'll prefer any laptop with i7 if I'm to go into video editing, screen displays also matters, so go with the one with good color resolution and accuracy. I have a plug, he's my uncle. I can give you his contact
Do you still believe the naira is still being floated, it's obvious it isn't, the govt just playing with people's intelligence. I believe this people are running a feudalism type of government
Slytiger: Naira is settling to it's real value. The government can't keep backing and padding the naira artificially with billions of dollars every year so that some rich people can send their kids to school abroad, buy homes abroad, import overpriced items from the abroad to sell in Nigeria e.t.c.
Why is it only the parallel rate, why is the official rate still same?
Why is there no accessibility to the official rate, the government still playing the same game as of the past. It's even worst this time cos the black market keep increasing everyday
tensazangetsu20: Op if you are a skilled professional go to Slovakia make sure you get a work visa before you go. Depending on the industry or skills you have you can get a work visa. As for other African countries, only south Africa has a viable job market.
Do you ever make any attempt to apply for this country's visa
Martinez39s: Guys, I am looking to buy a solid hp laptop with a corei7 processor with minimum of 8gb RAM. Where should I go in Lagos? In addition, what are your model recommendations?
What do you intend to use it for I'm using a uk used dell and I bought it for almost 200k, if your intention is to use it for heavy tasks like programming keep your eye away from hp products, Dell and Lenovo thinkpad is advisable for you to purchase.
Also take note on alphabets behind the processor numbers, for example
1. **K or KF:** Unlocked multiplier, allowing for easier overclocking. 2. **F:** Indicates that the processor doesn't have integrated graphics. 3. **T or U:** Generally denotes lower power consumption and reduced heat generation. 4. **X:** Often used to signify a high-performance or enthusiast-grade processor.
Radioactive objects are potential cause of cancer, I just hope this would be well managed so it won't lead to fatal cancer casualties in the future as it would be carried around in mobile phones
My thought was that the biafran soldiers were only interested in having their country, why move their advance towards west, I still can't settle my mind with the recent demonstration too, what if they still have same sentiment
Proserpina: They preach about independent thinking and decision making when a woman's family ditch them but would preach family loyalty, respect for parents opinion when a man's family doesn't like the lady. Oh let's not forget their popular mantra " Your wife is not your blood" . Lol you all and your selective cognition will be alright.
@Bolded... Let somebody read the vote of thanks. Thread closed!
It's obvious I'm not interested in any act of hypocrisy that already exists between the two genders, my opinion is of the logical opinion that these people wasn't there for the benefit of their child, as the guy has written they called him back when they realized he's attained some level of financial freedom.
Reaching out to em shows they don't care about her safety, what if the guy accepts her and then begin to abuse her for the reason they chose him for the money, you'll still be one of those condemning the guy when it obvious it's her own family that led her into the situation.
My take is having both partners understand the kind of person they're dating and their potential is really important and essential, at least you'll have a way of being there for each other when they're met with opposing forces.
Is the lady receiving the bride price and engagement items ?
It's only an immature lady that will allow others opinion have impact on hers, there are cases of children who married against their parents wish due to race, tribal and religion differences and they lived happily ever after.
In this case both the lady and her parents are just too financially blinded that they put important factor out of consideration, at least the lady must've been with the guy enough to know his future plans and prospect
Most women that complain about not having a partner is due to the fact they want the one percent, not that they don't meet regular suitors, me sef go make am
