Were you aware of this before signing the contract? If yes, you should have negotiated within that range. Now you have no say. Stick to the existing conditions or ask to renegotiate the terms of the contract.

O.P the fault might have come from you. Maybe you didn't read the terms of the contract very well before signing. They might be paying you based on what is on your contract.Try to renegotiate a new contract that will put you on similar pay scale as your co-workers. Tell them to let you speak with your lawyer first before taking any action.
