Please ,I just drove down to buy something.now to start my car it could not start.one mechanic check,he said is not supply current, electrician came try and try,said it had enter code.that my engine could not recognized my key until I reprogram the key.
I pushed the car to my compound now .I actually need info please.

Good day all. I'm using ford escape 2005 model. I changed the radiator recently and the mechanic mistakenly connected the gear oil hose to the water pipe and water and gear oil mixed together.

I tried to get another mechanic who flushed the mixed gear oil with another gear oil, but as at right now, my gear is not engaging .

Please is my gear box spoilt or can it be repaired? If it can be repaired, do we have any ford gear specialist on here and also do anyone have an idea of how much a complete ford escape gear would cost?

what kind of gasket did you use? Graphite or steel multilayer? if the latterhow did you handle the cleaning of the mating surfaces to assure no leaks whatsoever?

Secondly did this engine suffer oil shortage due to its poor state?
