P1734 - shift solenoid valves B or C stuck off. First and foremost what does your transmission fluid look like. Wine colour, dark colour or brownish in colour. If wine colour proceed to check shift solenoid valve band c. Which is just right inside of your transmission. If dark in colour and smells burnt you are on your way to replacing that transmission. If brown in colour proceed to changing fluid with " Honda DW1 transmission fluid". You can use a good dextron vi transmission fluid.
N.B: there is a recall on your vehicle for transmission issues

Vbabs: Luvinhubby, Gazzuz. In the morning or when engine is in cold state, My Honda accord 05 doesn't start at once. Will have to hold down the throttle pedal sometime for it to start. And when it does rpm pedal stays low at about 0.5. Then it take a long time to warm up after which ROM gets to about 0.8
Mentioned this to my mechanic (Kazeem) he said its the spark plugs. Even though he hasn't checked.
What could be the cause of this please so I don't start trial and error.
Note error code when scanned is cam position sensor Inspect camshaft position sensor and it's wiring. A cold start hard start. Check coolant temperature sensor as well. |

abussyaya: Noted sir I will take note of that but I strongly doubt this unless it was tampered with without my knowledge. Thanks for the response To confirm this put your key in the igntion barrel turn to key to on position and see if fan comes up. Check this when car is still cold |
Car Talk › Re: Error Code 192-1 On Diagnostics Machine by mayor2013: 6:41am On Oct 13, 2018 |
Simply revert your fan system back to factory mode where by the engine coolant temperature sensor kicks in the fan. Am sure yours has been reengineered to work all throughout your driving period |

That's just some pieces of wire mesh stocked inside the pot. Let them have a look at what I told you. You should have another just like this pot at the back of your engine. Your mecho is just playing some snake and ladder match here |

adanny01: Infact, its better to use ordinary engine oil on Honda power steering than any ATF you see. Trust me, first hand experience (2003 accord).
Honda ps fluid has more viscosity than any ATF but less than engine oil. ATF in the power steering will cause overheating, then pump starts whining, then leaking, then pump knocks out. More viscosity is more stress for the pump but more lubrication. The pump will be better off with engine oil than ATF if oem PS fluid is not affordable. If possible light weight engine oil like 5w30 or 40. Which one be this again. Engine oil inside power steering. Have fixed power Steering pump on Honda more than a year now still works fine and I never used engine oil. If you get the procedures well then there would be no problem |

I've worked on 2006 Sonata and Elantra bought brand new in Nigeria, so I find the 2012 optima story hard to believe. Why do you doubt it. Most Nigerian branded Kia and Hyundai are always short changed in terms of component installed. Hyundai Tucson 2011 was short changed interms of installing a climate control to the conventional AC system |

it's a 99 siena sir You still need to replace the one up just at the rear of the engine. You should have one there.but before then let them bring it out and have it checked. Might have detoirated. Your engine should be 1MZ-FE |

Check fuel pressure emanating from fuel pump. If external filter exist replace if changing the fuel pump. As for the jerk you pull the transmission to drive. Check all engine mounts |

Vehicle speed sensor. In consistent shifting of transmission. Lost communication with TCM (transmission's computer) which sends and receives command from and to transmission. In summary both parties are not communicating which each other. You need to do a proper diagnosis to get to the root of the problem. Limp mode activated |

Transmission would be changed, engine wire harness would be changed, pcm also would be changed. The v8 is a 4.7l capacity engine |
