2. Excessive oil consumption of the I4, but rather than overhaul engine, check oil regularly and top the oil
Excessive oil consumption of the V6 due to faulty programming from the factory, can be fixed by reprogramming its computer
3. i4 has timing chain, v6 has timing belt, but the timing chain has been known to fail

Am yet to see number 3 personally fail.but on the v6 heard some unpleasant noises right in the engine. But who knows can't judge just from one out of the numerous

hardly would you see a check light on stay on this car.as small as it is parts are pretty expensive

Diagnosis first. Do you find it difficult shifting through gears when you clutch down

Hello guys, good day. Please what could be the cause and solution to my kia pincanto been unable to accerate. Driving from gear 1, it is usually very slow to pick up n after a while it does pick up and accerate but whenever I break n had to start from 1, the same thing happens. N rit now, it cannot even climb.

Is yours an auto transmission or manual transmission

DTC FAULT P0155 AIR FUEL RATIO A/F SENSOR BANK 2 (B2) SENSOR 1 . Inspect lambda sensor on bank2. Bank 2 is the front of your engine. Sensor 1 should be first sensor located in front of the engine(upstream).

Possible cause

1) heater element could be bad.
2) circuit problem

Solution: check resistance value using a multimeter. If you have a a scan tool you can check the sensor reading via actual values

P0135 Acura O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction Bank 1 Sensor 1

Sensor is located at the firewall (rear of the engine)

Carry same approach listed above to have it fixed

Lastly p2279: intake air Leak: have all vacuum hose inspected and fix accordingly. I would advise you have this code fixed first because the amount of intake air going to the engine has been altered so therefore lambda sensors would pick a false reading as against the norm air fuel ratio(14.7: 1). Have that intake air hose changed

N.B: Air fuel sensor might just check out fine but might come out as a fault code if you have this intake air leak

That car has even been badly kazeemized before it was brought to your workshop, serially abused and now just basically a drain on owners pocket. If it were a healthier one that was brought to you, then you'll just apply for visa to Sweden to join the Volvo team sharply

Am not sure if it's same owner had changed transmission 4 times bought transmission fluid for 180k when it came to my workshop I discovered 2 litres of transmission fluid as against 8litres (standard). The transmission survive on 2 litres down to my workshop. I am really optimistic the future of automobiles lie within the hands of the Europeans. The likes of Toyota's Honda and the rest wouldn't have survived this. I dough my hat for the Europeans

Should I be worried about paint fading or cracking in future?

If baking job was properly done you do not need to worry about that. Just have a professional inspect car on your behalf before purchase

My dad had one in the 80's. I rode in one when I was training outside the country. The Volkswagen was damn too clean. No modifications though

Bros, if that amount of fuel... like 5 liters ran off through that vent in the EVAP canister it means that all those happy charcoal inside have really suffered yesterday chei! God, make e never spoil abeg

The evap system is about gas from fuel, its storage and movement down to the engine. Remember that the Canister box is the storage house of hydrocarbon and gas. Also if you over fill up your tank you have excess of gas forcing its way through down to the Canister box there by having either a small leak or large leak on evap System. Leaks can also be found along vacuum lines, from fuel tank as well as fuel tank cover.Not to forget you have a vapour pressure sensor which measures pSI of gas. Do not overfill your tank when you go to the gas station. When filling make sure to put off car and also make sure immediately check valve clicks ask fuel attendant to stop.

Some leaks might not be visible enough. Some might be at top most portion of fuel tank.

1) when did this car came into our facility?
2) what complains did you give first over the phone before coming?
3) why was honmusa not able to fix your car after the lengthy schooling?
4) how many months after was this complain?
5) what compromises on your car were discovered by our engineers?
6)how much did you pay for this fix?

quick question filled my tank so as to ascertain how many day full tank fuel would last...filled with 8k

after that drove the car like 3 times short distances with AC the fuel was still above half tank,the this morning wanted to repark ,put n the car it suddenly shows empty fuel with the warning light blinking...what could be the problem... EVEN IF MY TANK IS ALMOST EMPTY IT DOESNT SHOW BLINKING LIGHT BEFORE JUST A YELLOW LIGHT.

also pls i changed the brake pad recently because it was making some sound on my right tyre,after changing the sound is still there but not as pronouced as before,it increase as i increase my speed. the sound is like ho ho ho ,could it be my shaft is about to pull out,because me am scared.thanks

Check your wheel hubs. Also check fuel tank for leakages also makes sure your fuel injectors are sitted properly along the fuel rail

The power loss thing started after I steam washed then engine.
It started with engine misfiring which my mechanic advised I change the spark plugs and did some setting on it. It then stabilizes but looses power climbing hill. It difficult climbing hill that it doesn't kickdown to speed up but stays in that particular gear and drags up d hill
