We don't even know what we are drinking if its from Nigerian bottling company original makers of coca cola or from the heartless businessman faking the product from his comfort zone. Drink responsibly... Only from verified source buying from hawkers can be dangerous, if you buy from a known shop when there's problem you'd know where to go. Just saying

Things-Men-and-Women-Think-After-s It’s very evident that the world has now taken turn in such a way that s*x is now the thing invoke among youths. In recent time, the concept of relationship has been wrongly interpreted by guys specifically that they boast and receive appraisal from friends when they get laid. However, to some guys, kitty-cat is the motive behind their going into relationships, that’s why they act like their world revolve around it, thereby walk-bouncing the street and bragging to their friends when a lady fails prey to them NOTE: This is not a generalization of all guys cos I know for sure that an averagely sizable number of us are way too matured beyond doing these shameful acts and display of immaturity. Without wasting time, I shall discuss the shameful things guys do after getting under the skirt of ladies, (and in some cases their supposed girlfriends) Lemme keep the ball rolling cool 1. They Brag When In The Midst Of Friends Guys who act this way are nothing but scum in my personal opinion. I don’t know why some guys are so dumb that something done in secret becomes a public issue. Few weeks ago, I was in Ado-Ekiti when a lady visited me. Gbaaaaam !!!! I locked ourselves up for nearly four hours cheesy and when she was about going, I took a few minutes walk with her half way and after returning back, see as my guys begin hail and even congratulated me like say my Bet9ja ticket click. They were asking if I actually I did it, and I was like whaatdaafccck is that? Some guys will even lie even if they never did it. This is just to boast their ego 2. They Show to Their friends Already Used Condoorrrm Some of them are even dumb and immature that they will take their friends to their room and show to them the already used condom so that their friends will not think they are telling lies. 3 They Snap Pictures I have no atom of respect for guys who involve in this silly act. I just can’t but shake my head for guys who are guilty of this act. Few months ago, one dumb guy in my villa was showing to his friends the selfie taken during the deed. This is nothing but the greatest height of stupidity and immaturity at PhD level. 4. They Give The Girl’s Phone Number To Their Friend This is another shameful thing some guys do. After the deed, some of them will give out the girl’s number to their friends telling them how professional skillful she’s on the bed. The mumu friends sef go collect the number begin chase the girl 5. They Suddenly Become Unnecessarily Authoritative To some guys, they believe that a lady will not have an atom of respect for them until they got her laid. However, guys with this mentality always act like ladies puppet but will suddenly become authoritative just like Ayo Fayose the moment their purpose has been fulfilled. That is, they start springing surprises and doing things the way they like and will command obedience from the lady by force. 6. They Stop Showing Affection It is of no doubt that the worth of some guys, is measured by the strategies used to cajole and get ladies bleeped. This however gives some of them an assurance of self worth and handsomeness. When some of them manage to find their way there, that is when they drastically show interest and act like the ladies is the forcing herself on them *yeye people* 7. They Delete and Block Her Another shameful practice some dumb and silly guys are guilty of. They used to call frequently and chat her up, but after the deed, they will stop ringing her up and even avoid her calls. The lady in question becomes worthless to them because they have got what them find joy in. 8. They Start Nagging I swear, guys who do this are nothing but eeeedioots. Some of them can be so tolerant that that can even eat poo, but when their mission is accomplished they pick offence for everything. That is when they know that she’s not pretty, and has a poor test in fashion. 9. They Expect Her To Start Chasing Them Guys who act like this need a knock on the head. They used to do the calling most of the time, and also used to chat her up frequently, but when they just manage to do what pleases their heart, they stop ringing her up or even pick their calls 10. Feel free to add the Last one |
Barrister Mark Nzamah Jacob, a former Commissioner of Justice and Attorney General, Kaduna state, who was a key player in the Neighbour -2- Neighbour campaign that retained the then President, Goodluck Jonathan in Power, has given insights on how the North would produce the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) presidential ticket in 2019. Jacob, who is usually referred to as a ‘restless advocate’ of the right of the Middle Belt, in a recent chat with Vanguard, said he was happy with the 2019 Presidential ticket zoned to the North by the PDP. He said, “The 2019 Presidential ticket to the North zoned by the PDP is in sync with me. I have no problem with that, except that some of us would like to know which kind of North the PDP is talking about. Because, there is a section of the North that believes that it’s the only part of the North. “Even when it is a minority in the North, it arrogates the definition of the North to itself. “If the PDP is talking about a north that includes me from Southern Kaduna, that includes the Idoma man from Benue, the Nupe man from Niger, the Bachama man from Adamawa, then I am happy. So, let no one think that the zoning of the ticket to the North is for Hausa/Fulani. They have had their share of power. “The late President Yar’adua and now President Buhari are Hausa/Fulani. “That is enough. It is the turn of the majority of the North who are the other ethnic nationalities scattered in 14 Northern states. “Let the Hausa/Fulani never imagine rearing their heads near the ticket when the time comes,” Jacob noted. |

International Federation of Women Lawyers, (FIDA) has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of marginalizing the women folk in the list of ministerial nominees submitted to the Senate for screening. Chairperson of the Kwara state FIDA, Mrs. Oluronke Adeyemi said this yesterday in Ilorin, the state capital as parts of activities to mark its week. Mrs. Adeyemi said that: “We are surprised with just one lady among the ministerial nominees. It is not acceptable to us and other women in the country. Nigeria have women who merit the ministerial list. “We support the president’s effort at appointing credible people. He should appoint credible people even if they are all from the same state. Nigerians should learn to do things in a new way. Whether all the ministers are Christian, Muslim or from one part of the country, all we need are competent people to drive the nation to greater height but number of women should be increased because we have many of them who have impact in their chosen careers.” On the theme of this year’s celebration titled “Protecting the Children, securing our future, she said that the society cannot continue to pretend that all is well the Nigerian children which was why the association is calling the attention of all to the plight. She said “many children have been assaulted, some were poured hot water, some burnt, mercilessly beaten while others were put to hard labour. Many of them lived among us and we have invited about 350 teachers across the state to come and listen to experts talk on how to identify these categories of children and how to access help for them. On rights of children, Adeyemi said there are laws in place on abuse of children but people are not willing to press charges. “Those who inflict pains on children does that on orphans. The problem is a systemic issue and to solve the problem of children abuse there should be laws allowing taking children away from the cruel hand. It is working in Kwara state already and a family court has been established in Kwara to look at domestic violence including children’s maltreatment,” she added She stated further while condemning Boko Haram attacks in the country that their programme is targeted at preventing another set of Boko Haram with FIDA week this year. She added that “any child raised with cruelty will grow up to be cruel. We have no value for human lives; It obvious that they aren’t fighting to Islamise Nigeria but to destroy the country. I Prayed for President to succeed in the war against terror and I urged all Nigerians to support the government. I believed in discipline but discouraged been cruel to children.” http://thenationonlineng.net/ministerial-nominees-female-lawyers-cry-of-marginalization/ |

I sincerely think that as Nigerians, we need to embrace science and technology, study it and understand it as much as we studied and understand religion and faith. It will do us a great deal! I am devoted Christian, but the way we allow religion and faith kill us is amazing! You board a vehicle from a motor park, with driver, and instead of trying to check and ask questions if the driver is qualified, licensed, fit, not under alcoholic influence we’ll rather prefer to donate monies to fake preachers who board to tell you how people die on road accidents because they did not donate monies to pastors. They preach and tell you how to cover the driver, vehicle, tyres and steering with the blood of Jesus, and we all shout a loud ‘Amen’. Why do we derive joy in looking for witches and wizards, when we fail to do the primary things to guarantee our safety? For how long can the blood of Jesus allow decrepit vehicles convey us from Abuja to Lagos? I will prefer we have technical experts visit motor parks, instead of fake pastors, and sensitise passengers on how to spot inexperienced, unlicensed or drunk drivers, and what to check out for before boarding any commercial vehicle. They should advice technically on the conditions of vehicles before going on the roads. The bad side is that Nigerians are not good in voluntary assignments that do not pay and road users will not be willing to give tips to such volunteers. They prefer to give to men of God who threaten them with hell fire and dangers. This is why I prefer to fly when on long trips, because the road transport industry and system in Nigeria is suicide mission, and has little or no functional regulatory body and so anyone can bring any vehicle and anyone as driver. Admittedly, our airways are not as safe, however, the industry is run by highly specialised professionals who have so much at stake in the event of any accident. Created in February 1988, the Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC, which functions generally relates to making the highway safe for motorists and other road users, has failed and its purpose almost defeated. A similar body, the Vehicle Inspection Office Driver and Vehicle Licensing Administration (VIO-DVLA) which primary aim is to standardise drivers’ license certification process and maintain a database of certified drivers and vehicles for the enforcement of road traffic laws in Nigeria, has also not lived up to expectations. As the rate of road accidents increase in Nigeria on daily basis, it becomes urgent that the government looks into existing regulatory bodies or create new ones and mandate them to work closely with road transport companies. I appeal we separate religion/faith from reality (science and technology) because if we have good vehicles, good and fit drivers and new tyres, the rate of our road accidents on our roads will reduce, while a large amount of the blood of Jesus would be saved for better things. We all know speed is a major factor in many accidents. However, speeding causes not all accidents and not all accidents are preventable. Yet there are steps you can take to help prevent accidents. These include driving slowly when the weather is bad. Replace worn tyres and brakes as needed. Keep windshield washer fluid full and change out windshield wipers on a regular basis. Not only do seatbelts keep you safe in an accident, it will help avoid accidents as well. Seatbelts will hold you in place during an aggressive manouvre. Back off and do not tailgate or allow others to tailgate you. Do not assume the other vehicles will stop just because the light is red.Do not drive behind an 18-wheeler on the highway. A blown tyre can cause an accident. Do not rely on your mirrors when making a lane change. All vehicles have “blind spots” in which your mirrors cannot see. Do not ride in the blind spots of other vehicles. Always keep your windshield wipers going in the rain. Defrost your windshield to keep it from fogging up. Turn on your headlights to help others to see you–this is also the law in some states. It is always best to have a “designated driver”. Never drive after you have had alcoholic beverages. Even one beer can alter your ability to drive safely. Always use your signal, even if you think no one is there. When changing lanes on the freeway, do not signal as an afterthought or during the lane change. Signal at least a couple of seconds in advance so others know what you are going to do before you do it.

An average Nigerian with a low budget face this type of dilemma often, most especially the people that want to buy their first car but they don’t have that millions of Naira to splash out on a car. In as much as I hate to disagree, cars are liability and you get to start spending on it immediately you make payment. Of course you get to spend by fueling the car but it also have its importance. Back to the Topic, Which Type Of Car Should I Buy? Answer : Buy something you can maintain even if it means waiting to complete the figures. 1. Maintenance of a car: is the basic thing every car owner must consider before making payment. Do a thorough research, ask questions from anonymous mechanics that is not affiliated with the dealer or seller about the type of Car you want to purchase if it’s worth it and be very sure you’re not going to pay for a car you won’t be able to afford its parts. 2. Are the parts available in the market? This has to come next to maintenance of a car, don’t just wake up one day and go for that beauty you found available because you want to drive around like a boss! Mechanical parts are not to be trusted, the car you park can develop a fault when you restart the ignition. Yes it’s that weird. You must have seen cases of some expensive cars parked and you’d wonder why the owner abandon his/ her car on a strange spot. Unavailable or expensive parts could be the cause. Most times, it’s the cause. That Mechanic around your area can testify to the above. 3. Fuel consumption: are you that guy or lady that have a specific budget to spend for a certain period of time, please avoid buying a car that consume fuel because you’ll realise you’re spending above what you’ve budgeted. 4. Your road: Although this one might not seem like an excuse but this is what realacars is all about, we’re not going to assume all our audience have good roads. As the case might be, it’s not possible. If you fall into this category you really should think about this clue. Don’t force your car to follow that bad roads, cars run with engines and parts. Don’t be surprise if your car suffer alignment and shock absorber problem often if you persists. You can as well get the car but minimize the number of times you force it on that bad road. There are lots more we will share with our readers subsequently on realacars.com and we’ll try as much as possible to publish affordable cars that are in good condition on this webpage. |

President Muhammadu Buhari has said that the attempts to link the ongoing trial of the Senate President Bukola Saraki to him are unacceptable. President Buhari said this in a statement on Sunday by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu. He said views to the effect that the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) and the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) could only act upon external instigation were equally uninformed. According to the presidential aide, there is no place in law that the Bureau and the Tribunal should take instructions from any quarters. He said as an independent institution equal to any superior court of record; the tribunal is set up by the constitution to determine the issue of default, false declaration or forgery in assets declaration. "This therefore is purely a judicial process and has nothing to do with the Presidency", he said. He said those who had an axe to grind with what they are doing should do it in a judicial manner by challenging those actions in a proper court of law. "Let them hire a good team of lawyers to prove their innocence," Shehu said. "Government has no desire to persecute anybody. The President has vowed to respect the rule of law and this is what he is doing by staying out of this matter. He has said times without number that the war against corruption has no sacred cows," he added. Shehu noted that "Even if the president wants to help, there is no way he can do anything. Is he going to ask the judge to stop the trial?" |

Ruth Idi Okpoto, Now Mrs. Rith Omopariola-Bolarinwa is a deaf lady and she’s University of Ilorin’s Best Graduating student from the Faculty of Education in 2009. Ruth has cried out for help after searching for a good and well paying job six years after she graduated from school. In an email she sent to Education Review & obtained by The Sun, Ruth who is now a married mother of one, narrated her fruitless efforts in searching for a well paying job. She shared on how tribalism, nepotism and her deafness have militated against her getting a job that will tally with her educational qualification. She says she currently works at a school in Ogun state where she coordinates the PTA group. She called on her alma mata, Exxon Mobil and others to help her with a job. Excerpts of the email below: “To set the record straight I am not a deaf-mute. Not all deaf people are dummies. I am a bilingual deaf person with a mild hearing loss. I became deaf in 1997 at the age of 15 while in SS 1 at Dairy Farm Secondary School, Lagos. I have already acquired language proficiency before the sickness that caused my hearing loss started then. After the illness, I discovered I couldn’t hear very well whenever people talk to me unless I read their lips. Despite this hearing difficulty, I continued my education at the school. “At a point, I confided in the Vice Principal (Academic) Deaconess Afolabi but she didn’t believe me because according to her I could speak and hear her. She decided to check my academic records but was surprised to realize how brilliant I was as a deaf person. From there, she showed interest in me and adopted me. She later introduced me to her husband – Pastor Toye Afolabi. They supported me to further my education at Kwara State College of Education, Oro, in 1999, after the completion of my SSCE. I lived and grew up under their loving care for more than 15 years till I got married in 2011. “When I got admissions into University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), they encouraged and supported me. I did not even know sign language then but I excelled at the College where I studied Agriculture. I did my IT at the Lagos State Agriculture Development Authority without the help of any interpreter. I have a good rapport with people. Some people think I am pretending to be deaf whenever I tell them about it because of the way I relate with them. I didn’t attend any special school but I learnt the skill of sign language while teaching at Christian Mission School for the Deaf at Ibadan in 2003. “I am physically, mentally, emotionally and morally sound, and very assertive. I love interacting with people but I don’t like to be taken for granted. Intellectually, I like reading and researching. I also love playing football. Mind you, I am still playing football even now as a nursing mother. My friend used to call me Tomboy in those days because I like doing what boys do. I love tasks that challenge my intellect. My husband and I have similar condition. He is deaf but he can speak English fluently. We are both qualified graduates from University of Ilorin. He is, at present, working with Ogun State Teachers Service Commission. “I scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.45. That was the score I saw on the result sheet in the first semester of my final year. After the completion of my study I graduated with a second class honour (Upper Division). “On the efforts made so far to get a good job, I had wanted to work with the University of Ilorin. There is a lecturer at the Faculty of Education, I was so fond of her even till today. Leaving her was, indeed, a difficult challenge for me. The affection I have for her made my desire to work in the university stronger and that was what motivated me to do my NYSC in the institution. The lecturer is now a professor. I was then lucky to serve at the newly established Centre for Peace and Strategic Studies (CPSS) headed by her (Prof. Olasehinde Williams). Before the completion of my NYSC, I wrote a letter requesting to be retained but got no response then. “After the completion of my one mandatory youth service, I continued to apply for job whenever the university released vacancies. I think I have done so thrice. The former Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, was making attempt to employ me based on my application which was submitted to him in 2012/2013. I later learnt that he was about to do that before his tenure expired. I wrote a letter explaining the situation to the new Vice Chancellor (Prof. Ambali) in 2013 and, in fact, re-applied last year but the vacancy was put on hold. “Another opportunity came when ex-President Goodluck Jonathan gave disabled people employment opportunity in 2013. I joined others to apply and traveled with my husband to Abuja for the interview in November. My daughter was just seven months old when I embarked on the journey with her. |
