jordy101:
I still ask, why should the origin of the Igbos bother you after all, the Yoruba claim theirs from mecca. And even if the Igbos voted Jonathan because of Nnamdi, Yorubas voted buhari because of osibanjo . soo my brother, it should stop bothering you because Igbos will repeat it again tomorrow.
And I repeat incase you are blind, you ain't dumb, Igbo tale no bother me. I don't even see yoruba's talking about Saudi Arabia, na your mouth I de hear Mecca tale for the 1st time. I only hear Oduduwa, cock, sand,Bini kingdom; like I said I'm not bothered about your tales.

Now if you lots are bigots enough to queue up behind Jonathan cos of the name Nnamdi, take Jona back to Nnewi and make him your Obi or President there and quit going around crying marginalisation from the birth of Christ till this day while visiting andbegging for political appointments everyday.

One last thing, i'm not Yoruba; not everyone against Jonathan or Igbo is a Yoruba; Nairaland is not restricted to Igbos and Yoruba; you can believe or not; that's your problem; but i'm proudly Efik of Ikot-Ansa clan.

why does this Igbo/ Isreal story bother you soo much to the extent of hate, prejudice and steorotype to Igbos?
Bother me? Until an Isrealite comes to claim he is Ibo, my dear,it won't bother me. What bothers me is why a set of people will want to return Goodluck Jonathan because he adds Nnamdi to his name.

your expression connote hate for the Igbo race. It's high time you peeps should leave the Igbos alone and think of how to better your lives
1st I won't discuss success on here, atleast it's a faceless forum, no need.

Now I never hated igbos till I met them here on NL. Damn their reasoning is so shallow, tribalistic and hate filled. Either you learn to move past civil war or you remain stagnant with the world against you while you deceive yourselves with "Isreal" story.

Black Jew my left blokus.

Gerrat. With the loads of informed argument on here, have you made any better choice than seat with hate and seek every means possible to pull Naija down.

I find it funny that young ppl with little or no knowledge of the political structure of Nigeria will come online to post what u just posted,,,,, what is your guarantee that the so called N and SW bloc will even last up to a year....when they are almost falling out on the issue of power sharing?
Wait till they fall out first. The SE deserves the wrongest treatment for always wanting to drag Naija backwards. From causing a war, to leading a poor govt. under Jonathan and even wanting such govt. to continue.
PoliticsRe: Ndigbo And 2015 Election: The Correctness Of A Mistake by mcquin(m): 12:01pm On May 15, 2015
No there is no point proving SS and SE wrong, their votes won't matter so long as th N and SW bloc remains. I would rather he does more for the SW so to garner more support than it had already.

Before you advice others, advice yourselves on "forgiveness" for healthy living.

Dude making sense. It's not about whether it's cheap, but making it obvious that "no level for any boo." The girl definitely felt embarrassed, especially hearing everyone say, "thank you sir, thank you bros."

I swear na few guys get mind run am; some guys will jst keep mute after the "no number ish" and look like a Mumu to other guys mocking him secretly, but this time I think the passenger's will rather make the girl a topic.
PoliticsRe: Presidency Orders Relocation Of $500m Port Project To Bayelsa by mcquin(m): 8:27am On May 15, 2015
Waste of energy cos I don't really see it taking off in Bayelsa. New administration likely to retain it in Lagos especially with Tinubu's influence.

Jonathan should have thought out a better way to fix ND than jst feed militants; and some clowns were here crying militants should continuously be fed as it is their oil; well oil now inconsequential.
PoliticsRe: Ameachi , A ‘general’ In Nigeria’s Revolution, Says Tinubu by mcquin(m): 7:42pm On May 14, 2015
Volksfuhrer:
You don't know what you're talking about. A bloody revolution in Nigeria is impossible!
Nothing is impossible brother. Nothing!

Who would ever think it possible to evict pdp few yrs ago?
PoliticsRe: Ameachi , A ‘general’ In Nigeria’s Revolution, Says Tinubu by mcquin(m): 6:33pm On May 14, 2015
Yes Amaechi is the real crusader of change for his sacrifices.

But baba "Revolution" and "Nigeria" shouldn't be used in same sentence cos a Nigerian revolution will see the cleansing of the whole Nigerian political space. None will be spared.

That will be quicker but bloody and more effective as it will see Nigeria speaking with one voice from North to South, East to West.

PoliticsRe: Jonathan Betrayed The Trust Of Nigerians --- Odimegwu (1) by mcquin(m): 6:00pm On May 14, 2015
Seriously if Ndigbo get 10 of this men when fit look beyond ethnicity and voice the wrongs of GEJ, e 4 good.

I couldn't read all but took the 1st 3 paragraphs and the last, I wasn't disapointed. Corruption actually became the middle name of the out-going admin. He didn't even fail to state that those many Igbos that voted GEJ were influenced by bad leadership. He also talked on the hate campaign; damn! Niccur talked about GEJ conceding cos he knew Nigerians were actually tired.

Guy is brilliant. You may not read all, but try reading the much you can.
PoliticsRe: Why The Yoruba May Lose Out Under Buhari by mcquin(m): 11:48am On May 14, 2015
BlackTechnology:
You still do not get the writer's view

His point is this

If the North seeks to hold power for a little longer, they just have to dump the SW for the SS/SE which will leave you guys in the cold.

Imagine the North in 2023, presenting their son with a SE/SS VP whom have being promised presidency.

Do you think the SS/SE will support a SW presidency 2023

Wake up

1979 and 1983 is repeating itself

Ask

Awolowo. grin
Simple wait till that time and stop assuming for the North Mr Jonathan Ebele Azikiwe.
PoliticsRe: Why The Yoruba May Lose Out Under Buhari by mcquin(m): 9:30am On May 14, 2015
NewNigeriaMind:
According to the writer, yorubas should not see this a Yoruba thing rather as a Nigeria movement.

He made some assertions that are outrighly wrong, an instance is that the north could keep power in the north, that is not possible.

But in the last paragraph he said Yorubas should approach this and do things in the interest of all Nigerians.

In all I agree with you, we should let politics play out. Buhari has not been sworn in and we already have some many opinion of what will happen in the future
I respect your civility in approaching issues but Igbos also should have thought of Nigeria before putting their interest(which I didn't even see GEJ working on) 1st. Voting straight jacketed for one of Naija's worse leaders in the name of "he is our brother"; "he bears Nnamdi" was totally wrong.
Igbos forgot the impunity, corruption, subsidy scam, University strikes, Immigration scam, Boko Haram et al and voted like Jonathan is Mandela. They even supported "Buhari's death" campaign.

My guy before advicing Yoruba's on patriotism, advice the Igbos. My brother note strongly i'm not a Yoruba but Efik; I hate to see naija through tribal lense.
PoliticsRe: Why The Yoruba May Lose Out Under Buhari by mcquin(m): 9:12am On May 14, 2015
NewNigeriaMind:
Read the article, the writer made some points
My point is, why not allow politics play out? Why assume on behalf of a group that voted for Nigeria's progress?
Someone did write that Jonathan screwed up leaving the SE,SS and majorly SW to work in the North when his greatest strength is in that region; that is true.

Buhari won't have to leave his strongholds to tow the part of uncertainty atleast he knows N and SW combined will give him victory.
PoliticsRe: Why The Yoruba May Lose Out Under Buhari by mcquin(m): 8:50am On May 14, 2015
Why not keep it to yourself? I don't see Buhari changing his winning formular atleast after knowing SE votes are irrelevant.
PoliticsRe: [PHOTOS]. A Female Trekker From Enugu to..Abuja by mcquin(m): 8:31am On May 14, 2015

But why the craze over trekking. Next trekking should be #trekoutcorruption #trekinbetterhousing #trekinemployment #trekoutpowercut.

God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
PoliticsRe: Rivers Killings: We’ll Not Forgive Nor Forget, Says Buhari by mcquin(m): 8:18am On May 14, 2015
Sweetguy25:
Buhari, remember 2011. Over 800 people died in your name. You should let sleeping dogs lie.
The statements made by PDP loyalist here show they are aware that those killings were ochestrated by the PDP. Why not allow Buhari investigate the killings so we know whether na PDP or Apc do am.

Killings in 2011 were not done by Buhari but extreme loyalist. A situation were you give guns to thugs and lunch attacks during APC rallies not even after elections is sickening.

Investigate sir! Impunity must stop.
