For many of us that have chosen Nigeria first before our ethnic and religious background; I mean those of us that have refused to be blinded by ethnic and religious affiliation, those of us that seek a better Nigeria, a pertinent question we seek answer to is:

Is President Goodluck Ebele Nnamdi Azikiwe Jonathan the best PDP can offer?

Correct me if i'm wrong but the last time I checked, A/Ibom state's govr- GodsWill Akpabio is still a card carrying member of the PDP. Former Cross River state govr- Donald Duke never to the best of my knowledge drop the PDP.

Looking at the Pedigree of the above mentioned governors and comparing it to the achievement of GEJ while he was governor,well even as president, what can you say? I repeat, is GEJ the best PDP can offer?

As a governor, Akpabio built an International stadium, Donald Duke built Tinapa and Marina Resort. These governors have made both states a destination for many, but can same be said of Jonathan while a governor?

All three are at their Prime and so there isn't room for excuse such as "he is too old" Jonathan isn't the youngest of them.

If PDP really have Nigeria at heart, why must they throw up a mediocre instead of their best?

I can bet my life that many supporters of PDP on here once hated PDP with their life especially during OBJ/Yar'adua era. The whole lot that support PDP now only do that because Jonathan is now in power and they forget that many Yoruba's including the Kuti family played a key role in bring Jonathan to office when Turai Yar'adua was power hungry.


In truth while many PDP supporters right now support PDP because Jonathan is there, a majority of persons that support APC especially from the South are only interested in Nigeria's growth regardless of who is in power.

Agreed the North's born to rule mentality is choking, but if at the moment there is someone that can perform better than Goodluck, then for heaven's sake let's enthrone that person;whether from North,south,east or west. These are critical times for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Well we are not praying for the worst, but this is what I think will happen. After the election, there will be little hitches here and there and a bit of violence. But later at night the loosing aspirant will be shown on TV telling his supporters to calm down and be peace abiding. Then he will either go to court or follow the new trend in Nigeria, i.e congratulate the opponent and everyone goes home.



Well I believe Boko haram is still out there cos we all have decided to make it Govts. Problem. While the people of the North do not want to fight it cos they hate the govt of the day(GEJ's govt.), those down South here feel it's the problem of the North and so at the end of the day, it is just govt and communities affected that tend to fight it.

Nigerians have continuously shown their crave for political deceit from politicians both historically and in contemporary times.

We have continuously shown as a people that we either seem too quick to forget or we choose to act solely on grounds of ethnicity and religion. How on earth do one explainthe recent support for Buhari as President. Understood Nigeria wants change but not from a Buhari.

For PDP e-rats i'm not done yet, so stop jubilating thinking we are on same page. No! Never. For Heaven's sake I have got conscience. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has failed Nigerians. With or without tribalism, democracy -- a people-first style of governance, would rise to its intended purpose. Corruption only limits and most cases kills that potential.
An uncorrupted tribalist would employ, pay attention to this; a man from his village who is suited best to perform the job at hand.
