donodion: Someone shoul kindly advise this man he talks too much. And who told him he might win?
Yes GEJ let many folks down yet not everyone has forgotten their family members slaugtered in North during Buharis loss in 2011.
Nigerians vote with sentiments,be it hinged on tribal affiliation, religion, or last minute motivation.
He should let sleeping dog lie and rathet be more appealing to the people of South South like his VP is doing than his bragging lines.
* I still wonder why APC didn't field a newer, younger presidential candidate, than this desperate-power-hungry-core-north-is-born-to-rule crooner* And thousands have died from an insurgency the C in C can't stop. Maybe his wife with her loud mouth will do better than him |

Acidosis: So many f00ls on Nairaland. So many f00ls here have first lady's offices all over their respective states including Lagos state and other APC states; but the f00ls have really gone insane; hence the probability that the brains of these numerous f00ls will capture such illegalities as purpoted by the King of Boko Haram and terrorism is ZERO.
Buhari will only wipe out the office of Iyarinya in his wierdest imagination. My pity only goes to the masters of cowardice and slaves. I'm really ashamed by identifying with these sets of cowards. Thank God I'm from the middle belt. 1st question how many are as thuggish as PEJ? How many will come out and say she won't return to Kitchen but continue being a King-maker? How many do you see going around dragging lands and making troubles? Lastly the last time I checked it is an irregularity even on the part of the OPPOSITION that the GENERAL hopes to change. |

mrputtine: The northern elite started it. The office of the first lady was nt common untill the north came in ;Dto power. So no body should cry or insult anybody. If it gets to my turn, office of the First Son and daughter go dey I see you lots are bent of destroying Nigeria. So because a northerner starts something bad,it should remain so? Was it Buhari that started it? And how many 1st ladies have been reckless with power the way PEJ is? All I see is PDP followers determined to maintain status quo just to ruin Nigeria. That won't work. |

Berryjack: I hope all this are joke? Whether is good or bad she is better than that tyrannt buhari. If only u guys will realise Nigeria has been ruled by hausas now that south-south entered they started war. Igbo will climb that sit and shift federal capital to east so that hausa will understand we are not slaves. Christains can live with Muslims but Muslims can never do so with Christains. Blood suckers Seriously what concerns your post and the OP's? Tackle the issue before us and stop trolling. Hausa or Igbos rulership has nothing to do with PEJ's unclouth tongue |

FKO81: Corrected. Election is not won on social media, you guys should stop counting your gains, the battle line is yet to be drawn, here is Africa not western nations where social media is one of the yastics in measuring candidate popularity, 85% of Nigerians don't have access to internet. Be patience, Jecob Zuma is the most criticed president in South African both home and abroad he still won the second time, it's not easy to unseat African president. Why is it not easy? Is it that sitting President's do no allow free and fair elections? Besides those that vote on social media which INEC can't manipulate, are they not humans? |

anonimi: Do you want me to explain what PROGRESS means to you Progress should mean GEJ respecting rule of law; not using the police as his Armed political wing; not just frustrating a Court of Appeal Preside-Justice Salami from office because PDP feels he is Pro-opposition. Tell me the difference between the above and military dictatorship. |

Ever heard the word PROGRESS? If you are agreeing that Jonathan is also a bully, then you have no moral ground to post what you did about General's use of force in a Military regime. |

- Nduka Irabor - Tunde Thompson
both of Guardian and
- Vera Ifudu, NTA
felt the brutal force of the "rigid and uncompromising" military COUPIST under his obnoxious Decree 4! That was a military regime. Go ask Tambuwal and Amaechi how well Jonathan welcomes opposition in a democracy. |

A lot of times, we emphasize our differences as a people especially for selfish political gains but fail to realize that there are a lot more things that we do share in common and such that do hold us together as a Nation.
Pls do highlight the things you personally think most Nigerians share in common.
For me it's CORRUPTION AND BAD LEADERSHIP. #crazy but true. |

Sometimes i wonder if this guy is a complete president material or we should just make him efcc chiarman, because the only thing he knows is counter corruption. What do you say of a GEJ that doesn't know anything at all, but even supports corruption? |

Seriously without living in self-denial, APC has brought a lot of innovations to the polity. Being a strong opposition in a system that PDP had monopolised every aspect prior to this time is commendable.
True they say that a ONE PARTY SYSTEM is akin to MILITARY RULE. |

You lots sound insane every time you lack proper defense and then resort to, 'no better alternative', 'he's the best so far', 'GeJ till 2099' or 'Nigeria is cursed, let's destroy it.' It's really difficult defending the clown no doubt esp since he has crazier PROs. |

Politics › Re: President Jonathan To Buy New Executive Jet by mcquin(m): 12:56pm On Dec 25, 2014 |
Sibabasibaba1: ----
Don't deceive yourself. Buhari himself is not driven by patriotism. He is driven by vaulting ambition. PDP did not destroy Nigeria. Buhari and his friends did in1983 when they stole power and arrested our development. Imo, Lagos and Bendel had visionary leadership then but Buhari's ambition killed the vision.
Somebody who spit on democracy should not benefit from democracy the real patriots fought for. How did Buhari even become a cult figure politically? Sharia. With his sharia sentiments, he got the hearts of the millions of alimajiris whose brains have been programmed to believe that sharia is the truth. So, to them, anybody that supports Sharia is supporting the truth: Hence Buhari became ' Mai Gaskiya', loosly meaning the Man/father of truth.
So, APC is not fielding Buhari because they believe he can turnaround Nigeria. They are fielding him because of the belief that he can get the votes of millions of alimajiris that he helped pauperised. Ask yourself what Buhari achieved in 1983-85 (as a young President) in terms education, health, housing and manufacturing. Nothing. He was busy flogging people who were not standing in queues. Is that development?
Wake up and smell the coffea and stop being idealistic and falling for romanticism peddled by power hungry piliticians and perpertuated by a turncoat media. Get it, some military regimes are better than democracy. The democracy we had then was flawed and it needed to be arrested. J Rawlings did same and Ghana remains thankful to him. That said one would agree that APC needs Buhari because of his political might in the North and yes I support it. To change this government we need numbers which only Buhari can provide for now. The starting point is changing the PDP led government, no matter how little such change may be. In Buhari's time we could point to Nigerians being decent and respecting Law and order; the spate of insecurity cannot compare to what we have today; same for the value of naira and CORRUPTION which Jonathan actively and passively condones. Na just 2yrs rule be that compared to Jonathan's 5yrs. Ask yourself this, does Jonathan still have the fan base and sympathy he had in 2011? Atleast I and my Mom voted for Jonathan. But lately I called my mom to tell her about Jonathan buying or exchanging new Jets and she started cursing him. So what really changed? How come it seems PDP enthusiast are struggling hard to convince us to vote him? |

Hold your ear, APC, Elections are not won on social media platforms. #true, elections are not won on social media, but credible elections are won here. Atleast INEC and Federal Might will not play a fast one on us. Hence we keep advocating for electronic voting. |
