Not possible to hack a crypto wallet. He must have been careless with his private key. Probably used it on a phishing site and it got phished.

The fact that he also had his twitter account also hacked (which is also very hard if not impossible) show he is very careless and does not know how to use the internet safely it is almost impossible to hack. The only ways to hack is if you have a weak password, if you are careless with your passwords. You log on to cloned sites (which would redirect you immediately to the real site after stealing your login details), if there is a key logger in your system. Trojan. From your browser cache etc. Or through 'social engineering'

Else it would be a hell of a work even for the best hackers to hack your twitter account. You think the owners of twitter are dumb? If it was easy, the accounts of people like trump would be hacked everyday just to frustrate him. Hackers are always waiting for you to make a mistake.
Not when you carelessly input your private keys to a hacker's website shocked grin

And you think people won't still be scammed ?

The problem isn't abt escrow... There are trusted escrows on ground...

The problem is people are careless with their money and believe the drama and attention drawn by theses scammers ...

U new moniker comes on here today and starts putting mouth in matters that he's suppose to watch and learn... He picks on founding members of the thread and try to get attention...

Some people start seeing him as one of the long time members here and fall into the trap...

Nothing will stop the scammers cos this country doesn't have a means of punishing them and the people here haven't learnt at all
Well, it seems there's no end in sight. I guess I'd just watch the endless drama of "I've been scammed" on the daily then.

I think NL needs an escrow service. A standard escrow backed by some serious institutions. Every day I log in to see one scam or another. Too many scams happening that it is scary to do any transaction here. Damn angry

Appreciable number of people liked the guy's submissions so it's reasonable for kiekie1 to take the feedback and improve. Nairaland General › Re: What Is The Craziest Rumour You Have Heard About Yourself? by mctfopt: 9:59pm On Oct 31, 2018
Pinkberry5:
Mine was back then in secondary school.

So I had this very close female teacher of mine, a youth at that time. We were really close and to top it, she was my chemistry teacher. She was really good in teaching and noticed me maybe because I was good in her subject, I'm not sure.

Trust bad belle girls, they started saying she was giving me expo for tests and exams.

At a point, we started visiting each other, my mom always excited to see her. We'd eat in my room and gist oooo grin then we'd solve questions and bla bla bla. I confided in her my crazy secrets and she told me some too.

Sh*it started when we were practicing for our interhouse sports competition one period. While changing after practice, her phone (which she left in my jacket pocket) rang. Seeing 'dad' on the screen made me feel it was an important call and I ran out of restroom with singlet and thight.

I found her in the teachers changing room and gave her. After receiving the call, she teased me on my dressing and drew my bra strap which was visible. I slapped her hands away. She mocked my knickers and we laughed over it. Before I left, I hugged her and whispered something stupid in her ear.

Fast forward to next week, every one was giving me one kind eye I nor understand. During classes, some stupid girls started making stupid comments randomly about lesbians. I didn't know why but it felt like odd. Soon, I heard my name on the intercom and I went to the office, not after everyone in the block started hailing me. embarassed

In the office, our principal played around the topic before hitting the nail on the head, telling me she heard a teacher had been sexually molesting me, she saw it on CCTV footage, bla bla bla. I tried explaining but she brushed it aside, telling me she knew it was embarrassing to admit angry

She told me she had sacked the teacher and I wouldn't be molested again. I cried so much. Turned out some bi*tches had followed me that day In the changing room and acted as 'witnesses'.

It was a terrible situation, which caused me to change school. A good teacher lost het job because of stupid unreasonable and untrue rumors! I still feel guilty about it though. Recently met her in the market. Found out she's happily married with two kids and owns a daycare.

I'm still swearing for those yeye girls that told my principal that sh*it. I lost interest in the sciences and moved to arts which I'm still based in today.
Rumors are terrible. embarassed
That was truly sad, sacking her even though you said there was no molestation. Damn.
