I think there's some silverish material underneath the glass if you look closer.

I've tried hosing them with a some dish soap and water, then just water, but there remains a thin layer of dust/grime on them.

Use a mop and clean water. You may do it like thrice to get that very clean look.

Solar Charger watt output are not calculated with panel volts but with charging volts.
On a 12v system, if it's charging with 13.5 it'll be 13.5v x amps to get the watts entering battery. Same for 24 and 48v. So 3300w on a 48v charging at 53.0v will have amps of 3300/53 = 62amps

Solar volts displayed are just what is coming from solar before conversion by MPPT

Hello guys, my 15kwh felicity lithium battery is charging slowly. The first guy that did the connection, did a wrong connection and got my 10kva inverter burnt. I got another inverter (SMS 10.2KW Hybrid inverter) and the new installer corrected the previous connection. But I noticed that the battery now charges slowly despite having high PV from the panels. I’m getting 3.200Watts from the panels but the charging current is 13Amps. I used to see up to 80Amps from similar PV in the previous connection and the battery will be fully charged before 3pm during peak sunlight. But now, even with this scorching sun and without using the battery at all, I barely get 2 bars full by end of day. There’s obviously something wrong with this current connection and the guy is telling me that the BMS in the battery might be bad. I am finding it difficult to believe that. Please any idea what could be wrong? From the little I have read and understand, charging current (amps) also determines how fast a battery charges and I’m see low amperage since this connection.

Do you have problem running heavy load on the battery? If yes, then BMS failure may likely not be the issue here.

Connection failure may be an issue. Either a panel in series have failed, or PV connection have degraded hence only like half the solar panels you have is at work.

Also do you have grid connected? Does the battery charge with higher amperage than what you have when the sun is out? If you have grid charging much higher than your PV current used to be, then issue may either be breaker failure or PV wire connection issue.

Also before I go, the 13A is it what you see in the Felicity battery display or what you see on the inverter? I'm asking this because if the PV are connected in high voltage, current coming in from the panels will be smaller.

For instance,

P= IV , where I = current and V = voltage


P = 13A X 400V = 5200w

With low voltage you may see something like

P = 34.6A X 150V = 5200w

Same power, just different current and voltage.

In my case, I foresaw these logistics delays, plus delays in confirming my payment if I pay online, so I decided to go their office at Omole, paid there, and instructed them to deliver the panels to their office at Omole so that I can come pick up there.

Even with this seemingly simple arrangement, it still took a week for them to call me to come pickup.

Fouani logistics is a nightmare. A cousin bought from them and it took 3 weeks. Those guys will kill their business with this kinda sluggish shipping.

This is a good price for the QCY Melobuds(Ht05), i bought QCY T13 last year but the bass compared to my Soundcore Life P2 mini was small, i sold it off, currently I'm hearing good things about the QCY melobuds(ht05) & the QCY melobuds pro(ht08) and i want to buy one

Is the bass of ht05 really that great, I'm a bass head & have you compared it to like any Soundcore product(s) or any other known basshead earbuds?

I bought the QCY HT05 Melobuds and Anker P20i earbud same week.

I got the HT05 from Jumia and the Anker for $17 at AE. Dunno if Jumia still sell it though now. Both was in May 2024.


But I ended up using the Anker more.

The reason may vary from user to user, I found out I experience more ear fatigue with QCY HT05 than the Anker P20i

But the ANC feature in HT05 is lacking on the Anker P20i. Also the HT05 has a more punchier bass compared to the Anker. Though both has some awesome bass, but HT05 bass is on another level; I just wish it does not leave my ears aching after using it, which was the main reason I tend to have forgotten it in my bedroom drawer


Conclusion: Go for the QCY for that hardcore bass, or go for Anker for that brighter bass and more voice clarity. Both is a good buy for the price.

Bonus: But if you are in the market for a good headphone try Anker Life Q20 Hybrid Noise Cancelling Headphones it's under $50, I think it's around $45 now.

Hmm, I’ll give a 7/10. I bought mostly accessories which are okay. I also bought a mini camera but I have no idea how it works, the device is terribly built and of very poor quality. I got a trimmer too and it works quite okay.

One has to go through reviews very carefully.

Mini cameras are always a scam on Temu or even AE. Best to buy known CCTV camera brand like Reolink, IMOU, EUFY etc. But they are never cheap

For trimmer Kemei and lately VGR are awesome. My VGR trimmer battery lasts for three weeks of shaving. Got it for $10 which was a steal 2 years ago.

What is the capacity of the inverter?

What load was on when it was damaged?

What's the make and model of the inverter?

It'll be hard to ascertain the issue remotely, we can only guess.

Best way to fix is to get a more knowledgeable installer to come and check that there is no issue with the installation, that is if you think the current one you used is not that knowledgeable.

It actually rated 10.2kw(10.2kva with pf=1). had to check online, people complained about same rating issue. It's overated. But for its price, it's a fair bargain

Most not premium Chinese inverter brands overate their systems. Some by a factor of one! This people is even conservative in their rating.

That is why you see this in some of their description:

Inverter 3000W, continuous power is1500W, peak power is 3000W. Recommended 1200w.

I use same SMS 10.2kva inverter. My load testing shows its more of an 8.2kw inverter than the rated 10.2kw. But apart from this, Its a fair inverter that does the basic well. Like the elders advised, look into the cause of your previous inverter developing issues, this will mitigate against future occurrences

If it's rated for 10.2 kva and pf is like 0.8, then the 8.2 kw is in order then.

I know. I once used one 1.5kva Luminous inverter for 8 years. Crazy thing inverter is still in service, no longer with me though.

If all connections are ok and house does not have a wiring problem, then inverter should not go bad, especially without thunderstorms as we are in dry season.

So I got this Tuya DC meter to test out it's functions. I'd been angry with dem Chinese for not thinking out a way to make a DC meter that works on Tuya platform despite the numerous smart add-ons that they have on that platform.

Even though with felicity hybrid I use, I can have some online monitoring capacity. But this Tuya meter appears to pack some punches.

I keep skipping this meter when I see it. The reviews of the ones I saw wasn't too grear. Is it rugged enough?
