Hi quick question. The growatt inverter there the manufacturer states maximum PV array input as 6000w but you have 16 550w panels which is total 8800watts isn't that too much for the inverter?

Very clean setup as always my man.

My only grouse is I never like seeing tubular batteries directly below any equipment as the gases emitted by the batteries are pretty corrosive and will corrode whatever metal it comes in contact with over time.

I like SRNE devices, they are what they say they are! Good job.

About 2 years ago, a friend I introduced Aliexpress to told me he saw some cheap phones with powerful specs on the platform and would like to buy them (at least 2). In fact, he already carted his choiced ones. I adviced him against it by telling him that the phones are not original but fake.

He was surprised when he heard that. Yet ,he still didn't believe me. At that point, I told him that to prove me either right or wrong, he should go to YouTube to check reviews on the particular ones he intended buying. I told him to use the YouTube search box for his findings, by typing the names of each of the phones (as dispayed on AliExpress web page) and then check the available reviews.

My friend went, did as I instructed him and then came back to confirm my statement that the phones are trully fake brands.


People too dey like cheap things, forgetting that cheap things don't last.

Why would a right-thinking person believe that brand new Samsung galaxy s24 Ultra could sell below 100k? Even, used ones are not that cheap!

I have just contacted the seller about it to inform them and i'm waiting for the response.

Just make sure you have a good electrical earth, then put correct protective device like SPD, breakers etc.

Good day sir, here I am again. So it happens that I took the inverter to the factory and they fixed it, I then set it up back and after a few weeks the short circuit fault displayed again. I checked through the cable, everything looks good, except for the voltage reader that displays between 80 to 150 to 180, it doesn't go beyond 180, could this be the problem to this persisting short circuit fault? I mean the steady fluctuating of the electricity supply? Thank you for your input 🙏

The 80 to 150 to 180v is that the input voltage reading? If yes, get a good AVR.

Good day to all my Oga in the house. I'm currently having an issue with a new SMS LiFe PO4 battery. After installation, it shows a red (ALM) light when I power it ON. Even when it is connected to the felicity charge controller, it doesn't get charged. Instead the charge controller shows error...

Check if there is a reset button. If there is, try resetting it. What's the SOC display on the inverter? Does it take charge or discharge?;

Every laborer deserves his wages. Because many of us are DIY, we tend to take for granted that there is a lot of work involved in solar installations.
Sometimes after spending hours designing a solution for a person, the person may now give the job to another person.

The worst part about solar is that from the time you install, any electrical problem in that house will be transferred to the installer since it is assumed that he was the last person to have worked on the electrical systems in the house.

Before you know it, the small profit you made will be spent going back to that house to resolve issues.

I'm 100% in agreement. Even old fault you get called upon. Roof leak in part you have nothing to do gets transferred to you too. It's crazy the amount of things that could go wrong that are attributed to the installer. Every other visit is not paid for.

Good morning guys please I need your advice on this please I open dispute for refund money.
What the saler send to me was different from Wat I ordered.
It laptop accessories and the item send to me was not fit into My laptop slots.
Some good guys from this group advice me to do video of everything and pictures as part of my prove which I did.
They first reply me that No refund.
I now resend them 3 different videos with alot of pictures as proof again.
The saler just message me now that I should cancel the dispute and they will resend the item..
I have never requested for refund on AliExpress before it My first time, hope the saler is not trying to Play smart here ?
Anybody that have experience about this type of My own issue should pls advise me too

Don't cancel dispute. Seller may just ignore you. Open another dispute with more evidence.

The price is high, in my opinion. I'll rather buy a brand new 10kw SRNE Hybrid inverter than buy a used 8kva Victron for that amount.

Open it and if you have the eye for it could see if it's the original soldering on the board or if there's an attempt on repair. Most repaired inverter often fail soon enough due to either inferior part used or wrong equivalent component used that may work for a short time. Check the transformer for signs of stress if it's a transformer based inverter. Generally look at the internals of the power board and check the state of ithe components. If it's all good, pay and hope it doesn't fail.
