PoliticsRe: Obasanjo: I Am Not Corrupt, Atiku, Buhari And Others Are Corrupt by MeAboki(m): 4:42am On May 05, 2015

Op u can lie. I watched d full 30mins video. He didnt even mention d word "Buhari".

in d case of Atiku, he didnt categorically say Atiku is corrupt. He only said Atiku was mentioned on Jefferson case. But there is no conviction yet to prove Ariku involvement.

OP stop lying.
I also watched and listened very carefully and agree that the OP lied through his teeth as OBJ never mentioned a single person as corrupt - not even his own political enemy Atiku Abubakar.

The OP and those who agreed with him are typical examples of abject shameful failures in comprehension; in fact they shouldn't be allowed to have children, in case they pollute our gene pool with little replica dullards like themselves.
PoliticsRe: Nairaland's Rule Number 2 Has Not Changed One Bit by MeAboki(m): 12:25pm On May 02, 2015
Karma is a biatch, what you sow is what you reap.

Since joining this forum, now over several years, I have come to observe and form an opinion that no group or ppl have been the victims of so much hate speech and insults other than Muslims/religion of Islam, northerners, especially the Hausa and Fulanis - anyone who disagrees should pls review most of the threads and posts; the evidence is littered everywhere in almost all the sections, particularly Politics, Ethnic etc.

It is also my opinion that no other tribe or group have been responsible for so much of this hate and insults than the Igbos, who by coincidence also happen to be almost 100% Christians, they seemingly take great delight in hating and insulting others at the slightest opportunity.

However, it is true that the tide has now turned full circle where the hunter has become the hunted and the tormentor the tormented; all thanks to a compounding accumulation of Igbo excess against others.
The current Igbo bashing is therefore no other than pay back for these excesses; where previous victims have united turned against the Igbos, dishing out as much as they had once received.

As a former victim myself, I have no pity for what is currently going on.
In fact let it continue until eventually everyone gets to feel and appreciate the pain of unwarranted insults and abuse; then maybe we will all come to respect one another and therefore address each other with the decorum we deserve.

Until then, let the payback continue.

Disloyalty of the first order: see how he is exposing his master and sponsor after also pocketing most the money assigned him for Jona's publicity campaign and using part of it for his gf's Range Rover and towards a N750 million house in Abuja; he has the audacity to talk of others who similarly scammed Jona - hope EFCC revisits that fraud case against him.

In any case, the firing seems fruitless since majority of these guys are unlikely to retain their positions; because its the expected norm for any new administration to fill such key positions with its own men.

Boko- haram a recent development....ofcourse I concur but northerners have been killing southerners (Christians) since the beginning of time before the establishment of nigeria as a country, that Was one of the major causes of the civil war (1967-1970). Now if I accept that we (southeast) are all you said we are can I also rightly say that since you people started killing/ beheading since the beginning of time that violence is in-built in your system , that you people are created to kill (killer machine)..probably vampires who get Pleasure from Seeing blood, beheading and taking lives they didn't creat? Whose conscience never pricks or feel remorseful for killing another human being? Such people shouldn't exist among other human beings least they become extinct (endangered speice) and can I also rightly say that it seems that you people are evolving ( evolution is taking place) cos u pple have graduated from violence, killing and beheading (sucking blood #bloody vampires#) to now setting yourselves on fire in the name of boko-haram/ terrorist, does it mean that soon you people will evolve to dragons with wings (as vampires the northerners are) and start flying and spliting fire #reallyscared#
LOL, Killer machines, maybe but; Vampires, certainly NOT: we leave that special trait to the CANNIBALS who love to kill and eat other human beings for pleasure.
I guess one of you recently got carried away; he not only beheaded his own father but also ate his neck - see link below:

Providing free and compulsory education for children is one thing, enforcing it is another .
Who is being held responsible for the almajiris that are not in school?
Not those other kids whose parents would have payed anyways to see them in school.
I served in the north and taught too, I was even payed by a family for extra after school lessons.
For normal families like these, you can hold their parents responsible if they refuse to comply ,
So who is held responsible in a case of almajiri when no one is responsible for them?
Please educate me.
Your Words:

"but the issue of passing any legislation that will force almajiri to go school is out of it, it can never happen, northerners will fight tooth and nail to make sure it never happen"

See how you are shifting the goal post:First you claimed such law could not be passed in the north; and when duly provided with the evidence to prove otherwise; you suddenly switched to casting doubt towards its enforcement - ignoring your initial ignorance to its existence in the first place.

Nonetheless, I have this to say to you: call me this time next year and I will equally show you proof that the said law is being fully enforced; because the in-coming governor Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje has already pledged to do so.

Lmao! Boko haram and their kinds are a recent development, the result of years of neglect and western and religious illiteracy. But since the beginning of time, or at least as far as history can tell, you have produced all sorts of rascals, from hunting your fellow brothers to sell them to slavery, to worthless ugly salamis like nzeogwu, who murdered the finest leader the north has ever known (the same person that identified you as the hypocritical Jews that you are) and Ojukwu, the pillock who led to the death of millions of your worthless kind ( I should thank him ) to modern day sprags like your armed robbers, kidnappers, drug dealers, con artists and all other crooks. Your identification of baby factories and criminality as profitable proves how useless you wazzocks are. No doubt your own seems to have come from paid education.

If you had read carefully, you would have deduced that the ban was not a permanent measure but only a temporary one pending confirmation of the source of the contamination, which earlier analysis had already attributed to Methanol (a poisonous industrial alcohol causing blindness when drank - even in small quantities).

How therefore is the ban unwarranted?
Should they continue to allow innocent citizens be blinded by such contaminant (resulting from obvious adulteration by some unscrupulous person wishing to make quick profit) while trying to investigate its source in order to stop it?

Must everything be quota system?!

The committee has clearly stated that it is merit based.

Yet the house wants to stop it because there is no northerner.

These peeps keep dragging this country backwards.
Must everything about your reasoning reek with stupidity?

Didn't you read clearly that (your brother) the secretary failed twice to prove that the selection was fair and transparent?

Very telling was the lack of evidence that: the committee had actually met and selected the alleged successful candidates; rather than the secretary, either alone or together with the minister had instead chose their own prefered candidates; and the lack of newspaper advertisement as evidence that the scholarship was duly advertised to all Nigerians.

That was why anyone with common sense (not assuming you have any) would have questioned the integrity of the process because it is improbable that only 1/3 of Nigeria's regions could produce first class students while the other 2/3rds can't - quite unimaginable.

All the Chairman from the House committee was asking was for evidence of transparency by way of verification; therefore let the secretary provide the required evidence or keep quiet - this is not the same as calling for quota system as some mofos are already claiming.

Do not worry yourself bro, time will tell.
If, if, if, you are only postulating over what did not happen but not adding any tangible evidence to buttress your clearly biased opinion.

Either you are a poor student of history or you have a selective memory; otherwise you would have recalled that the first ppl to protest about the June 12 annulment were in fact northerners, prominent among them were Colonel Dan Giwa Umar, Balarabe Musa etc; unfortunately Abiola lost northern support immediately he and his ppl turned the protest into a tribal one - otherwise northerners would have been with him the whole hog.

BTW, did you know that one of Abiola's sons is married to the daughter of the former IGP, Alhaji Kamselem, from Maiduguri?

I agree with you. In Nigeria the better rigger gets the booty.

When has there not been tribal and religious sentiments in Nigerian politics, just that this time there were many other factors that tilted the victory towards the opposition.

The issue is even when the North are not abuse, alienated or insulted the same almajiri's can still be used. The question is can politicians in this country be truely progressive without selfish interest? That's what we would like to see, especially in the incoming govt. If it happens, we all know PDP will be dead and buried.
North can win without or without rigging - the outcome will always be the same should north embrace tribal/regional politics.

The responsibility for change away from this backward mindset in our politics does not rest with the politicians but with us the electorate i.e. you and I who have the power to hire and fire through our votes, as seen during this recent elections.

It is therefore up to us to jettison this bad behaviour or condone it and therefore allow politicians continue to divide us in order to dominate us - the saddest part of this situation is that our youths (tomorrow's future leaders) have allowed themselves become useful tools of this mind control and dominance - you only have to take a look at the current level hate and myopism in many of the posts by youths in this forum.

They mobilised Almajiri's with and without voters card to vote. No wonder their was no incidence of card failure in the North even when the test for card readers there were about 50% successful.

But on election day, it was perfect.
The message is very clear: insult, alienate or abuse northerners; and northerners would retaliate by voting with their hands, feet and even generations unborn.

If you continue to play tribal/regional politics then be rest assured that the north can play that game and would would beat you hands down, again and again, because they have the numbers - whether in free and fair elections or otherwise.

Therefore it is better for everyone go back and embrace the necessary progressive way i.e. politics of principles and issues rather than the current backwardness based on personalities, tribe or religion or otherwise our so called educated southern brothers, with their PhDs and all should brace themselves for a lifetime under continuous leadership of the certificateless northern Almajiri they so much despise.

Hahahahahahahahaha!

Some of us knew it was all about the North!
They are the owners of Nigeria and the leadership thereof!

Abiola's election was annulled because he was not from linage of the "Kings"!
They handed over to OBJ as a compensation to the Yorubas!(To do one term and hand over to them again._
OBJ bulldozed his way into second therm and was even gunning for the third.
OBJ subtly released it to sick Yaradua an it landed almost free on Jonathan.

The North got angry and trusted him from all angle.

With the deception of progressive-ism, some many people have been deceived.

I laugh at the "progressives" down South!

Have you people heard?
It was all about the North!
No, Babangida did not annul the June 12 elections because Abiola was a non royal (wonder where you got that nonsensical idea from?) but because a few influential elites (from all the three major regions) were not comfortable with Abiola's emergence as president got together with Babangida and persuaded him to jettison the elections - against the clear wish of the majority in the north who had voted for Abiola, even as it were, against their own son, Bashir Tofa.

Sorry, you are quite wrong; its not about north per say but about misgovernance, honour and integrity.

Kwankwaso's message was a warning and a call for non tribal/ethnic politics in Nigeria, particularly by southern politicians against the north because such politics doesn't pay.

APC's merger and victory was not about getting power back to the north but a coalition of mutual interests with the SW brought about by misgovernance, ineptitude and alienation of the ppl of these regions by Jonathan's administration, compounded by GEJ's crude divisive campaign utterances and insults on his behalf by those closely associated with him (PEJ, Asari Dokubo, FFK, etc); but by far the greatest cause of GEJ's loss was due to his perceived deliberate neglect of northern region on the issue of security where he ignored the slaughter of thousands of its ppl in the hands of Boko Haram, without lifting a finger until the eleventh hour when he needed their votes.

Kwankwaso's message was a warning and an advice to southerners and their politicians:

1. Do not look down disparagingly at northerners with disdain because the Almajiri who is continuously at the buttress of your insults is equally capable of retaliating with his votes.
2. Recent voting in the north were not votes against the SS but against GEJ as the north had a historical alliance with the SS until Jona spoilt it.
3. Politics is a game of numbers, therefore anybody wishing to play regional politics against the north should be aware that the north too can play the same game and is always capable of coming together when threatened to exercise its majority votes.
