I found out that Yorubas prioritise personal development to team development while Igbos prioritise teamwork to personal development, this I have been able to deduce is practically as a result of both tribes basic principles, while the Igbos are Republicans, the Yorubas on the other hand are a traditional Monarchy, this means that the personal development of the Obas as a capable leader of the Yorubas has psychological and sociological impact on the entire environment, most people are inspired maybe subconsciously from Childhood to look up to the Oba, to the queen and more and so personal development thrive but the Igbos on the other hand being Republicans most inspiration springs up from working as a collective body of varying importance this claim is further supported by the following events, Igbos thrives in sports like football, Basketball, while Yorubas thrives in sports like Kickboxing, wrestling etc, it does not however mean that there are no Yorubas or Igbos thriving on team sports or Personal sports.

2. Politics: The Yorubas thrive on personal development while the Igbos thrives on teamwork this have its downsides and upside becuase when in politics there are times when individual personality counts when at other times teamwork could be prioritised, that's why Yorubas produce politicians like Tinubu, Awolowo, Akintola while Igbos produce a network of weaker politicians with strength as a single voting block that's why the Igbos produced NCNC, APGA etc.

3. Movie and Music: It is an open secret that Igbos edge out a little in the area of movies while Yorubas edge out just another little in the area of music, you can bear Me witness that movie is about teamwork while music is more about personal development.

4. The business approach: The Igbos thrives in business as a network however Yorubas thrives in business on personal development, that's why it is possible to find more Yorubas on the richest men scale but the Igbos having more per capita rich people scale, this however could impact the future of riches though I don't know in whose favour it will all swing, because as we talk the Igbos are learning personal development while the Yorubas are upping their teamwork capacity.


The Future of Nigeria will only get interesting shall we get things right a Nigeria where the two great tribes and other tribes can inspire themselves to evolve better.

I asked an IPOB biafran supporter a question in Abuja, and he innocently indicted his leader.

I told him as Nigeria is today with high unemployment rate, if he was a youth corper and was paid 150,000 a month, will he like the youth service year to end? He said NO.

1) The agitation was silent under a Biafran president Goodluck jonathan. If you did not demand for Biafra under a Biafran, how do you convince the north that your agitation is not politically motivated?

2) Kanu claimed buhari offered him Biafra with 5 igbo states and he refused. He insisted that Niger delta is part of Biafra.

Today they insult edwin clack and wike for saying they are not part of Biafra. You are forcing them into biafra, and telling them they will be free to leave when Biafra comes. People who you bring into a union forcefully, will freely leave?

Isn't that fighting for another Biafra within Biafra?

3) Biafran Agitation is a business. A registered business cant be fighting for the liberation of a people as an organisation. This reflects the picture and the scenario i described above. How Biafran struggle was to kanu what NYSC would be to a hopeless corper receiving 150,000 salary monthly.

He will never want the struggle to end.
But kanu stopped working since he started the IPOB business. All the bills of the FENDI FIGHTER,are paid by the struggle.

Even elon musk, jeff bezos, mark Zuckerberg who are billionaires in dollars still go to work.

His family feeds on the struggle, he is clothed by the struggle. He is living larger than the American billionaires, because they still have to go to work to earn thier money.

Dont compare IPOB Agitation with yoruba agitation. Sunday Igbohos agitation is purely issue based and in the interest of the Yoruba's. No financial gains or business registration attached. Igboho's interest is centered on the yoruba nation. He will not do anything that brings harm to the Yoruba's.

He will not send yoruba youths to go and kill Yoruba's in the army and police. Knowing fully well that there will be a retaliation and more yoruba youths will be killed in the process. So he can do fund raising to make more money.

He will not send yoruba youth to go and open the prisons and release criminals. Because he knows that it will increase crime in the region and make it unsafe for Yoruba's.

His agitation is focused on issues and not financial gains.

Supporters of Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo (a.k.a Sunday Igboho), turned out in their numbers at Cour De’appal De Cotonou for his trial.

The Yoruba-speaking supporters from both the Southwest in Nigeria and Benin Republic were in the court to ensure that Igboho was either freed or received fair hearing.

They were said to have been mobilised by a Yoruba rights group, Isokan Omo Odudua.

Also at the court was a delegation sent by Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, and Olubadan of Ibadanland Oba Saliu Adetunji.

The Pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation, Afenifere, praised Oba Ogunwusi and Oba Adetunji for sending the team.

In a statement by its National Publicity Secretary, Jare Ajayi, Afenifere also lauded Yoruba communities in Benin Republic for ensuring that Igboho, an Oduduwa son, did not suffer unjustly.

The group argued that the agitator’s travail ought not to have occurred, if there had been good governance in Nigeria.

The statement partly reads: “It is so sad that President Muhammadu Buhari‘s administration is concentrating on hunting and harassing those who are seeking relief from the oppressive situation in Nigeria while shying away from tackling kidnapping, terrorism, and other issues bordering on ethnic cleansing.

“By its conduct, the government is giving people reasons to believe the allegation that it is pursuing a Fulanisation agenda.

“Harassment of freedom agitators and innocent citizens must stop forthwith” Afenifere warned..”

But some youths from the 17 states in the South said the Yoruba Nation agitator must face trial.

The youth, under the aegis of Southern Youth Forum (SYF), said that the political narratives about Igboho’s arrest and his possible extradition to Nigeria should be of concern to patriotic Nigerians.

The leaders of the forum, John Atani (Southsouth), Fidelis Nze (Southeast) and Oladimeji Odeyemi (Southwest), who addressed reporters on the Igboho saga in Lagos said Igboho was not a freedom fighter, but a known political thug, smuggler, and land grabber.

They said: “As youths, we don’t think leaders who vowed to protect the sanctity of our Constitution should fold their hands and look away while some inept clout-chasers destroy the legacy of our heroes past when they actually possess passports of other countries.

“You can’t incite war in a multi-diverse country like Nigeria and not be there when the battle commends. Our findings indicate that the said Igboho was using his one-man show for personal gains but we trust that the law will take its due course on his matter when he is eventually extradited to Nigeria.

“The same man does not have his wife and children in Nigeria. What kind of mouthpiece was that?

“Those pushing Igboho on are aware of his antecedents as a political thug, a serial smuggler and land grabber, but they decided to deodorise him with the nomenclature of a freedom fighter to serve their interests, which is largely political.

“It beats our imagination that even those considered to be educated view Igboho as a Yoruba freedom fighter.

Time will tell on those staying in United States, Europe, and other parts of the world who are giving moral and financial support to such a known social misfit.

“For us, this freedom fighter is not our freedom fighter. Igboho and his cohorts must surely face the full wrath of our laws. “

You need to understand Yorubas have never told you in the majority that they hate Nigeria or her union as Igbos have done over their several decades-long agitation for Biafra.

It is the recent murderous rampage and destruction of lives and livelihood wreaked on the Yorubas in their own land by your fellow Northerners, and abetted by the Buhari-led FG, that led to Igbohos agitation and the passionate support it received from many Yorubas.

Nonetheless, Igbohos Oduduwa Republic is still not well-supported by Yorubas in general because Yorubas are visionary enough to understand there is no need to throw the baby out with the bath water so long as political and constitutional reforms can be initiated to assist every State and region grow at its own pace unencumbered by others.

Instead of disturbing us with your garbage musing here go and campaign for your backward fellow Northerners to embrace change, modernity and progressiveness so Nigeria ( it's serious States
regions and people anyway) can begin to make appreciable progress commensurate to their effort , endowment, readiness to embrace progressive change and determination to succeed.

Yorubas do not hate Nigeria and other Nigerians. We are just fed up of the regressive, rigid, archaic and backward ways of you Northerners that is dragging all Nigerians backwards.
