As for me , I sent new month message via sms and he responded after two days. Then I sent my request and my cv yesterday Wednesday he read it today , no response yet , he hasn’t blocked me yet. I will only back it up with prayers so I can get a positive response from him.

I said the deadline to accept the APL is March 27th ... Definitely not all the 1050 will accept the offer. So the few openings left could still be filled up before the resumption .

Most people are still in denial stage; refusing to believe that the recruitment is over for the GTs. I feel no pity for no one... I moved on since Friday even though it was very very very painful knowing that i wasn't successful, but i knew that hoping for another list will be devastating.

I'm completely relaxed, I've been ruling out any hopes of another list showing up, because if it shows up and i still misses out on it, it would be a double blow to my mental health. I chose to move. You should do the same if you weren't notified on Friday. Let's stay strong. Thanks.

This case is done and dusted. The inference of the retirement age I think nailed the final verdict and going with international standards.

So basically the court case had a bearing on this recruitment. And those who said the lawyer had been settled were actually mis informed. Who knows what else they got wrong.

His mission is to have auditors screen out the names that where not supposed/qualified to be there but the process won't be funny. Last week Tuesday I spoke with my contact in NNPC. His station is in PH. He was supposed to be one of the panelist, he was already in Abuja on the 3rd ahead of the 4th, but had to leave for his station to address an emergency that came up. He got replaced as a result of that development.

Meanwhile what he told me was that I should consider this whole delay a blessing. He said immediately after handover, a lot of names were smuggled into the list of successful candidates; usually it comes with some colletaral damage to the merit list.

When MKK used some trusted loyalists to appraise the process, names were discovered that didn't exist at the interview stage. This corroborates the story someone posted here sometime about 70 names being detected at first glance. So he said he was told that MKK ordered that each successful candidates emerging APL should be should be pinned against his scoreline and interview invitation letter showing that barcode (something he said about the barcode not to be easily manipulated).

Anyway, button line, he says that's the reason why it was delayed because all those verification prompted the temporary suspension.

Then came the political pressure which was given birth to due to the lopsided reality of the performance of the candidates. Between that and other factors, the matter is still in check, as at last week Tuesday. Wanted to deposit, but my new moniker wasn't allowed to make a submission till another week.

Isn’t there supposed to be a chain of command or a reporting line ? Does it mean that these interest groups have access to the HR in charge of the recruitment ?
Will president Buhari just hand over his own candidate names to the HR in charge of recruitment? How are these names being smuggled into the list. I really want to understand because what I’m reading here makes it seem as if these names made it to the list miraculously without the knowledge of the GMD and others in charge.
