Chelsea striker, Alvaro Morata, has revealed the reason for his poor performance at Stamford Bridge, the Chelsea home, this season.
Morata said he has been playing with his back pain this season.
The star signed from Real Madrid in the summer and has scored 14 goals in all competitions during his debut season for the Blues.
However, despite featuring 40 times since his arrival, Morata said his back issue have hampered his first season in England.
He said, “Everything was good until I had the problems with my back. I played with a lot of pain and it probably would have been better if I’d stopped.
“But I wanted to play with my team-mates, for the club and the fans. Now it’s in the past.

“My first year could have been better, but there are still more games to go and we have a chance to win the FA Cup.”
Chelsea are currently 10 points off the top four with just six games to go.

Just when we all thought these guys might be reconciling soon, Lanre Gentry sends a message which might not be helping in anyway.

Ok, guys, this is a huge shot fired at someone as Mercy Aigbe's estranged husband, Lanre Gentry congratulates Gabriel Afolayan for getting married to good wife and not a prostitute.

The businessman and hotelier took to his Instagram page where he sent a congratulatory message to the newly wedded actor and his wife.

"My brother congratulations on your wedding, I pray to your marriage and I know God have made your wife the best, not the prostitute that we pretend as wife, ones again congratulations @gabbylucciii God we protect your home in Jesus name," he wrote.


Even though we don't know Lanre was referring to as a prostitute pretending to be a wife, this will definitely get a lot of people talking as we all thought there reconciliatory moves in the making for him and his estranged wife, Mercy Aigbe.


However, this is not the first time Lanre Gentry will be will be making snide comments shades at whoever it is he is trying to pass a message to.


Recall back in December 2017 while responding to a message posted by Yoruba Nollywood actor, Afeez Owo who asked a question on his Instagram page.

"Which one kills a man faster...poverty or Bad wife? be sincere with your answer, especially ladies," the actor asked.

Well, it didn't take long before he started getting responses from a lot of people including Lanre Gentry who responded by saying "Bad wife."

Barcelona superstar, Lionel Messi has reportedly told manager, Ernesto Valverde to sell five Barcelona stars this summer.
The Catalans giants are close to claiming the La Liga title and are a whopping 15 points ahead of Real Madrid.
Spanish media outlet, Diario Gol reports that Barcelona are already planning for next season and Messi, who is a hugely influential figure at the club, will have an important say.
According to the newspaper, Messi has told club chiefs he wants Andre Gomes, Paco Alcacer, Aleix Vidal, Lucas Digne and Denis Suarez out of the club.
Messi, who is set to take over as Barcelona captain once Iniesta leaves the club in the summer, said the players have not shown the qualities of remaining in the club.
