Will shorten entries thread… updates coming |
Skibofire:Doesn’t mean you hiv positive, that’s my own symptom, infact there is no treatment I didn’t do, migraine etc until I did the test and figured I was positive, after I started drugs, the Mugu disappeared. It’s always good to do your test, I’m lucky pills are accessible, the headache was mostly on one side of my head, sometimes I just feel like dying because it. Just do your test and if not positive… then continue looking for ways to cure your migraine…. At least that’s out of the way |
azpekuliar:Nothing brother, it was not easy. I hid it from everyone including all those I thought were close to me, I just don’t want stories that touch. It affected my studies too because I was thinking too much which I shouldn’t have if I knew what I know now. My parents were surprised at my grades too but then I know why… lol, anyways I left Naija finally also but that’s when I’ve already gotten over the whole thing, the beauty about abroad is that my drugs are shipped directly to my house. I still do my doctors appointment too and medical records are sooooooooo confidential (no one wants to get sued)… I’m happy and over it |
positivelad:Be happy you knew early and you are now safe. I only knew when I had constant headache for over 8 months, treated and it never disappeared, until I stylishly went for a test. Infact after that, my CD4 count was a little above 500, if I have waited for so long and it was down to 100, that’s when it will show and I’ll become sick and so open to infections. Then slim down and people will know which is where the main discrimination starts. Your fight is to ensure your CD4 count is not less that 300 because you are at risk, if it’s over 300, just ensure it’s above that. That’s where the drugs step in. So you are soooooooooo safe |
Preshieben:Again I said in my write up, Most people rather pick a news from the gutters and run with it than do their research, the only thing I wear condom for is to protect myself against STI, I am undetectable and that means not transmit-able…. A little research can save you from asking an uneducated question
|
positivelad:Lol, I’ve been positive since 2008, that was second year in University, This is 13 years and I’m far better. All you need a a daily dose of your anti-retroviral… Don’t listen to what most uneducated people are telling you here, once you get to the clinic, you will see people who have been positive for over 40 years and they are old and still taking their pill. Pill is even not bitter at all. How I saved myself: 1. I didn’t tell any family member because I wasn’t sure of how I will be treated. So no one knows till date. 2. I never told anyone I was dating, I’m undetectable therefore I cannot transmit it to you. What’s the point? So they will discriminate? Sorry I didn’t talk shiiiiiiiiiiiit and they are all good too. 3. I don’t joke with my daily pill. Never!!!!!! I only once had one which made me weak during the day, told the doctor and he changed it. 4. I didn’t tell any friend, so as it stands, the only people that know about my status is either people I met in clinic when going to take my pill or the people I picked pills for. 5. Always go for your 6 months test, it to your own advantage because while checking your vital load, they will also check for STI which negative people don’t do. So you have free testing in the bag. From that year till today, I’ve not had fever or anything due to the tests which is free. 6. Remove fear, it’s totally nothing I swear with my life, you will be amazed.., Getting to the clinic will convince you though. No one is dying of HIV when they stick to their drugs. You may not follow my pattern but if you have people you love and trust that won’t stereotype, why not? You can tell them. But sadly I don’t trust anyone to be happy with me especially when I knew I was just in 2nd year in university and my parents will blab on how I got to UNI and was positive. For once also, I made my research because I thought I was going to die but YouTube and looking things up saved me too. Knowledge is power, don’t listen to all these street tadpoles here on nairaland, they know nothing and will never know… Again, live your life, make sure you just take your drugs and once undetectable… you are so good. It’s nothing big bro The annoying things I encountered: 1. During the early stages of registering with FMC Umuahia and picking my drugs, the nurses at the clinics can be very annoying. The doctors are sweet. 2. Even though we all in the hall are there to take pills, don’t just shout my name from a distance like they calling school kids, they should learn to be discreet but then of course we are all there for the same thing so…. But I never liked it(anyways I used a fake name from the start, a man that directed me told me to do so), but I don’t see the reason why though, no one have asked and the name I used haven’t made any difference. 3. I missed my appointment once and the treatment they dished out to me was not nice. They were so rude. So just don’t miss your appointment. 4. Because I tried to be careful not to let people know, I had to his my drugs, it’s usually 6 small rubber sealed containers, each for 1 month, it can be very annoying sometimes though. I hid in ceilings in my house, I hid everywhere I swear and will always have one bottle ready for myself. I usually transfer the pill into a multivitamin capsule bottle but again I made sure I don’t give anyone. Lol, to be discreet no easy. 5. I travelled a lot do I have to share room with people sometimes even during nysc, so I kept on hiding everything , lol… it’s stressful though 6. I wasted my money buying fruits and all these suggested trash, if I know, I would have just been taking my drugs, stop thinking and I’ll be fine. That’s all you need. Forget all those take vitamins bla bla bla, you will get scared for nothing, I did my research and all I need was my pill that’s all. If you want to take multivitamin that’s ok, but don’t make it a must. It’s not necessary I thing that’s all, I’ve not fallen sick ever, please make sure you use condoms while having sex to protect the other partner, you won’t want to hear some saying they texted positive because of you, it will be a lot of drama, but once you are undetectable, you are good. I still use condoms on random people because I don’t want infection, but with my relationships, we test for infection and there was no need for condoms and I’m good. You are good…. Be safe and avoid people saying what they don’t know |
FuckDModz:Chai, Wizkid go suffer for una hand sha |
How many towels do you use? Have at least three for now, start this routine. Soak in hot water and wash while warm, spread under sunlight, use one towel for three days only and repeat until it’s all gone. Bath with Dudu Osun You will be shocked how it will disappear. Make sure you follow the towel routine and don’t scratch them |
People re really expecting him to eat his pet? Y’all gross FGS |
Why though? That’s not how it’s done |
How many years in prison? I guess they will tell him to pay 100k or spend time in jail because that’s how it works in Nigeria… steal billions and pay some money after judgment |
Udapod:I left 2018 lol, I had like 15k just to pass because I don’t need too many questions, I ended up tipping 2k, 1k got custom officer and 1k to the lady that searched my bag that’s all… don’t just flash money, wait until the Erin’s starts saying how far, where you going bla bla bla and then can you drop something for me? Then you do, it’s willingly not forcefully but I heard people get delayed and all because of that.. |
I’ll love others to advice you on other things, my only advice is that you shouldn’t allow anything make you miss your flight, arrive at the airport early and do your check-ins because even if everything needed is presented, Nigerian corrupt officials will certainly find something to do annoy you. For a first time traveller, please have some change(cash), don’t argue, just tip them and go your way. Welcome to the new dispensation |
Sapiosexual and Demisexual, that’s quite nice, the attraction can be from a man or woman though, as far as he or she meets your needs… I am heterosexual bro, thanks

Omo she tried oh |
computer0810:soon, you will continue to be like your father, you need to learn |
Nigerians are impossible, to think some really consider Tinubu as an option after Buhari is mind boggling… if you have to because he’s Yoruba, don’t you have other intellectuals to discuss? The likes of Adesina and co… suffer never do una, I’m just watching |
There is something called protocol, you know nothing about due process and never will, walk on child dapolaw: |
Is it that this people don’t know protocols or what, Osibanjo seem totally out of place, see the way he’s standing there staring like one houseboy.that’s the Vice President for gods sake and pictures are flying around. Wow |
You need to like someone and also understand the person to actually get married. What you should not tolerate is disrespect, what I see their is a total disrespect and he won’t change. Just call it quit before you go in and start fighting over what is totally avoidable. He lacks respect from the get go. It’s a huge red flag. Out of all the time you both have dated, it is now that you found out and have evidence and it’s close to your wedding, that’s nature and God speaking to you, if you have found out months, you both may have discussed and settled and then laughed also and you will continue. Listen to the final warning… Am Igbo proverb says “Anaghi agwa oshi nti na agha esule (Them no de tell stubborn person say Oya war don start)” |
The way he walked out and landed him that slap eh, someone should do that mugu above my comment |

Nothing is promised in Nigeria, not even the safety of an ordinary civilian, I don’t blame anyone for resigning. The youth corpers that were murdered years ago in election brouhaha have been forgotten, no one is brought to book and no one is compensated. To your tenth oh Israel, I pity the pig headed ones that will want to sacrifice their lives for these politicians |
Kerefi:typical Nigerian, asking of cost when he won’t run to a doctor first and find out. Forgetting the cost can differ from one to the other. Ogbeni run to a doctor or tell someone to strick it with a strong hammer while you look away |
Count it all joy you have someone you love, the earlier you take that age thing off your head the better for you. Marry her asap if y’all are compatible. Don’t listen to people on the advice of age, you just need to do what will make you happy the rest of your life. Be happy and forget that age. My mum is 78 and my dad is 69, we’ve all grown and are happy. I wish my dad can advice you on this because their experience about people back then according to him was worst, now most of those people are either dead, had issues or barely surviving. But here they are, went though thick and thin and still at it. Please do you, no advisor will live with you the rest of your life and if something goes wrong when you take their advice, they will come back to tell you that you had your choice to make because they only adviced you and not choose for you. So do you bro |
