dru23: Me personally I can't take break.. I can't be suffering at an old age o .. This money must be made, or I die trying.... Sleep for the weak bro ... the rich only sleep less than 8hours a day so who are to be sleeping 8hrs day... you just have to work smart If you drive for a living then you will know that driving isn't easy therefore you need to always take a break even if the car is urs or u are on rental especially if it's In a very unorganized and traffic laden city like Lagos. Dangote that you mentioned in ur post does he drive for a living? Driving is a very strenous work and it weakens the brain and gradually drains the body out. Even Chisco bus drivers take breaks how much more a ridesharing driver.. well, ur comments atimes make me want to believe that you are yet to understand this work irrespective of the fact that you own vehicles on the platform. |

Please has anybody experienced this, at times riders call comes to my Airtel number and the number is not the registered number on my Uber and Bolt accs. The registered number on both apps is a glo line and whenever the Airtel rings after accepting a request i will know it's the rider and when I check the glo line phone it's either its off mistakenly or no network on it and Tax ify and Uber already confirmed I have only the glo line on my acct. |

darmilolah: Riders no longer call. It's annoying. Yesterday evening I was at home and playing with app around 5:30pm. Some request entered my phone. I accepted all the request. I patiently wait to hear My Phone ring but that didn't happen.
I end up calling 3 of them. La bang, la cancel.
After 7mins got another one and I decided not to call. Rider too didn't call even after I swipe my arrive now.
You won't believe rider did not call till i cancel the request this morning around 7am.
How did we get here. What is the solution? Yes, have observed it. I now spend more on call cards than before when riders do call but now they are waiting for driver to call. A lot of riders have mentioned to me that Taxiify drivers don't call but uber driver's do. |

izzou: Card trips are becoming more rampant these days
Is anyone noticing it? Yes o, I mentioned it last week here. Thats Bolts only way of pulling their money out from the hands of drivers hence the high number of card trips. I hate card trips on Bolt but love it on Uber. The most annoying is seeing a trip of 500 or 400 on card. |

P.s I drive 03 corrolla.
Urgent response needed Thanks. Its not about the money but about the well being of the vehicle after the trip. In the event of a damage during and after the trip 12k won't even be able to do it. It's like you don't know where Agbara is? Just be ready to come back with ur bumpers in ur trunk coupled with a leaking exhaust and bad linkages. Very very terrible road, about the worst have passed. But if you insist pls pass Igbo elerin side but not at 12k. |

jesusson2020: If I sing Uber still pay, did I sing it for you? You have attacked me here as if I'm the one that collect your wife, or we are in a competition.
My senior driver, why not respect yourself. Its practically unfair to mention words like this here. This is a faceless forum nonetheless you shouldn't use it as an avenue to insult people my bro. I have read all your writeups in trail and I make bold to say that your energy as a young uber driver is influencing so many bad decisions hence your steady outburst on a lot of people on this thread. Posting your earnings on Uber is purely your decision and by extension serves as a motivation to the newbies and particularly those that are weary in the business but all in all I think kind of done in bad faith. You should learn to respect people's opinion I think it will go a long in helping to shapen your approach to certain issues as a man. You don't drag people's private life into matters that are of no concern to their private life. |

lakkyflow: Sir honestly I wrote all these based on what I have heard, seen and read here .. Been doing private and company stuff a long time .. I even drove DANFO weekends.. I have Open a tear rubber car and for good 3 years with serious marketing on daily basis , No dents or accident issues .. I MAINTAIN A CAR TO THE CORE THAT THE OWNER WILL SMILE WHENEVER HE SEES IT.. You and I both stay in Lagos and we both know that it's nearly impossible not to have dents on cars while driving around Lagos during peak and off peak hours and for the fact that you have even driven danfo before points to the fact that you are definitely not what you present to be. |

jesusson2020: To be honest, Uber pay better than bank job.
Is better I drive Uber than work in a factory.
One of my co worker who previously worked in a factory, has inform his formal colleagues, to go learn how to drive. If you say Uber is slavery, then factory work will be what?
Meanwhile I have a full day rest yesterday, after doing offline to akure go and come.
I have already remit my 35k weekly rent this morning. Whatever I make from today to Sunday will be in my pocket.
Don't allow those saying Uber is slavery drag you back, go out there and start making money. Apostle will hear of this! |

pope191: I'm exhausted, like sleeping for the rest of the week... Yesterday I was joking in my mind like this work don tire me, my ears are not mine again, things girl's says on phone to question they ask "how do I smell? Does it look like I've smoked? Smell it" Frown face* what's my own now... Can make one have tummy upset.
After a good outing yesterday, around 10pm, got a trip going to ikeja from VGC, happy me, prayer got answered. Just few miles 2 approach 3MB, I don't know what punched my tyres (few weeks old), came down to check, need to change tyre. Open boot, no air in spare tire, had to manage and destroy the tyre to Yaba to have it fix. I woke this morning to realised spare is bad, had to get another tyre, spending around 6k. Head on to Ikorodu this morning, notice steering got hard to turn around the road that leads to Ijede, serpentine belt slipt into 2 (one of the Boris in pulley), had to fix that, buy new belt, spending close to 14k today
It is well.... Profit of 2days gone in a day, it ain't easy, tomorrow is another day Situations like this will only make you stronger so cheer up bro and fire up. Back2back trips fall on you this weekend. |

Saintoscar: Its all your fault bros. Its advised that before going out in the morning make sure to check your car and confirme its in good condition. If you had check you'd have known your extra tire is bad and fixed it. In that case you wouldn't have damage your new tire. Take it as a lesson always check your vehicles before moving out. Car wey work perfectly today fit disappoint you tomorrow. Sadly, we are too busy and time concious in this part of the world that we hardly have the time to do all this routine checks in the morning. Come to think of it, It could have happened to anybody no matter how down to earth you are with checking of these things. What about when ur Kazeem forgets to return back your wheel spanner or jack after work and along the way you have a flat, so invariably it's not always as a result of human error or negligence. It happens when it wanna happen. |

jesusson2020: Yes.
Since I join Uber January 2019, I have been doing well and earning well.
I have been paying my 35k rent, with no story. Been with the same car for almost 5 months.
I think Uber has given me a great opportunity.
I have stop listening to negative comments about slavery this, slavery that. I think from your submission it clearly shows that you are a staff of Uber or an aggrieved car owner on this thread seeking to prove to drivers that huge earnings and 35k weekly remmitance is still possible in this time despite drop in earnings . Same week you started ehailing was the same week you netted 100k! How come you are still on 35k up till now if truly you are a driver. Can we pls see weekly earning from when you started till now. Just be informed that display of dashboard will not change the perception of drivers about Uber being slavery. |
