Did you notice how I did not consider his opinion and never responded to him? Even when I mentioned traffic and damages to car, he still wanted to argue.

I have really decided to be ignoring animals and only be making meaningful contributions to this thread.

For people that want to learn, a driver gave me the list below and told me never to there!!! I test run some of them
Drivers that want to learn should learn!

The inexhaustible list is;
Never Ever go to Oyingbo, Apapa, Ejigbo, Ayobo, Badagry, Ojoo, Mile 2, Abule Ojoo, Abule Adoo, Ishaga, Isheri, Epe, Lakowe

Save this on your phone. I test run some of them. If its not extremely bad roads, its heavy traffic, armed robbers etc. Thank me later.
I beg to disagree with you on this sir. There's nothing wrong with Oyingbo or rather Ebute metta, the roads are not that bad compared to Oworo and its environs. Not all parts of Ejigbo has bad road. Ejigbo is equally not that bad. Apapa is a place I love going to because its always a juicy one for me especially having to deal with a rider that understands the importance of running the show offline. Apapa is a place you will like to go to if you know ur way in and out and there's always multiple requests there.

Let me tell you why I believe he did something, when I told him the amount I wanted, I was inside my car counting the money I wanted to pay him from, so immediately he started pumping, I wanted to come down to check the metre again, buh when I stood up, he was showing me something,
like something fell from my car, and when I looked and saw nothing, he pretended like he wasn't talking to me, I believe that was when he did what he did, buh no problem, I will go back there tomorrow to buy that same amount of fuel, I want to confirm his tricks, and I must buy from that same guy.
We learn everyday, will gist you tomorrow
Mobil Petrol station on Ozumba mbadiwe is actually the worst place one can think of buying fuel. All the attendants there are crooks and am talking from personal experiences. All the pumps have been tampered with and the quantity of fuel sold to you there can never measure up to the amount paid. Pulled up there sometime last year to get fuel, gave the crook attendant my ATM card, he sloted it into the POS and gave it back2me for my pin and at the same time diverting my attention from the pump by telling me to stay in a particular position so that the POS can get a good network but unknowingly to me he was doing all that to ensure that I look away from the pump to know initial reading. While I was doing all that he had started pumping without drawing my attention to the meter and when I eventually looked after like 3secs the meter already read 1kplus. Bros, I change am for am o but it was too late. Bitter lesson learnt!

So if you are on the Island anytime from 8:00pm and you need a trip towards the Mainland, just go park opposite Freedom Park, beside General Hospital. Trip request from Sterling Bank Head Office must enter.
That's #2,000 to #3,000 fare, mostly card payments.
Thank me later
Yes o, I have been doing this for quite some time anytime I find my self on the island later than 9pm. Mainland trips yapaa for there

Simple solution, accept request, arrive and start trip. End trip and rate 1 star with a price review that trip didn't take place.

With that, they can not give you same request from that person every again
Hope you know that taxify will block you once the report that you started trip without rider being in the car gets to them.

Uber seriously need to sensitive riders on this rating of a thing as regards its functionality. Had wonderful trips and riders today but only to get home and discover that my rating has dropped. Who or rather what could be responsible for this? Had the feeling that someone was trying to rate high but rated one star thinking its the highest. What are ur thoughts.

Thanks Br, he said it's break failure. It would have been worse, immediately I heard his screeching tires. I released my break and almost escaped before he finally meet me
Sorry about that bro. Its one of the things you will experience while driving in Lagos. Crazy drivers everywhere. I had a similar experience three weeks back at Costain, my back light and bumper was damaged. Bus driver claimed brake failure but me kuku didnt fall for that, I collected the complete money for repairs after a thorough assessment by the panel beater.

Who is this guy? Arent you supposed to be engaged in something more profitable and better with your life other than being on nairaland since yesterday bragging about who you are and what nobody else has. achieved asides you. Common sense should have appealed to you that you have derailed this thread enough. Always talking down on drivers who are the same people that has kept you in business, if you think its that easy why dont you come and drive your multiple cars(as stated) yourself or are you better than the made men that still drive on ehailing or betterstill do it in the US and see how it plays out. You cant get 100% good drivers but that doesn't mean they all are bad. Be warned or you stay clear off this thread if you wont shut up!

After taking the course twice. Uber have failed to unblock my account. I did not drive on uber this week. I visited their Maryland office twice and up till this moment my account is blocked.

I have sent several message to the in app support but to no avail .

Is this how uber blocks for a long time?

This is really frustrating. Who has experience similar issue?
What could actually be the reason for that. Met a driver yesterday who complained about the same issue. According to him when he visited Greenlight hub he was told that the company handling cancellations for Uber which is a third party is currently experiencing downtime. I suggest you go back Monday

You pay for waiting now.
Before nko, so that drivers don't get to wait endlessly for one yeye rider that is just going next street. One man I picked from Admiralty way to Sangotedo ystday complained about it bitterly. A rider once told me that in the UK when your uber arrives you will called to notify you of their arrival and also to tell you that you have just five minutes to come down or risk being cancelled and you are charged but in Naija here drivers wait endlessly because cancellation fee is very poor.

Which kind wahala be this? Who has gone through this before. How much was charged??

This guys want to run us aground.
Your cancellation rate is on the high side that was why they blocked you. You will have to visit their office on Monday where a login code will be generated and given to you to enable you do the online refresher course which is purely about cancellation. Your account will be reactivated after 48hours counting from when you are done with the course. No charges attached. Always log into your account on browser so as to help you monitor your cancellation rate. It helps

Naija is hard. Economy is zero. You are a driver that makes money on a daily driving someone's car. Your hustle. You decide say you don chop belleful and you no wan work but your fellow guy get pattern. He drives a more fuel efficient vehicle and makes money. You wake up say you no do again and then because you no do again, make another man no do. Are you not mad?

You declare your strike. For 12 hrs. You sit hungry at home and request guys hustling, cancel their trips and lie that they came with a different car. Your guy gets punished for a crime he didn't commit. And then few hrs later, you go back online with your own ratings intact, driving on the same platform and with the same rates you refused your fellow hustler to drive on.

You are a mad devil and God will punish you. I am indifferent to your strike. It's my choice. You don't know if I drive an electric car. But because you are not meeting up, you also decide that I am not meeting up and you try to bring me down? You are very mad.

Continue your strike but don't be foolishly hypocritical by driving while the fares are still the same and don't force your imbecilic opinions down the throats of others. There is no union guiding ehailing. Until there is officially a recognized one don't blame me if I do not strike with you. Don't be cynical.
Why are you so concerned and bittered about this strike? I know you are not a driver but an agent of the ehailing coy. Even if you are one with the strike and all your gra gra you were only able to make 15k which means if it wasn't for the strike as a lazy youth that you are you won't make half of what you made today.
I know you are a mole, a saboteur and an agent/staff of Taxify and you know what awaits you in the end. Why stop people from venting their grievances over what they feel is not right. There is no section of the law that forbids strike. More than anything else, from observation you are commenting on this thread for the first time today and I believe you are here for a purpose which is to abuse the minds of committted faithfuls. Whosoever that is responding to your stupid write-ups and rants has the time because to me you an agent of Taxify who is simply doing the bidding of his master.

Your wife was busy enjoying the toast and sweet talk which hardely comes from you,you have only your wife to blame for listening to such talk and not calling him to order, of which if he insist she should request to quit the ride, but no she was enjoying the sweet toast only to tell you later and pretend is all his fault, even with a wedding ring on her finger, a guy will always toast any lady, is now left for the girl to call him to order if the guy then try to force himself on the wife, that is when a man is suppose to appear.

I have reasons to believe you might be the one, I have laid my report to uber and because of this I'll also post the drivers details, you are very sick in the head to think a man will make up such story against his wife, if you indulge in such activities, you will get yourself in trouble sooner or later. I also drive on the platform, what do I have to gain?
Bros, calm down your blood too dey hot. Since you have reported the matter to Uber theres no need posting his details in public but if you still wanna do it go ahead to me its not wise. You have called him and he has apologized, just let it go. Do you know how many men talk to your wife everyday? of course she won't tell you those ones, so just let it go. Your wife reported the matter to you because you drive on the platform and if u werent an uber driver believe me she wouldnt. Several other drivers are also guilty of this and Uber knows but can't do anything because there's nothing to hold onto.

No sir cancellation rate doesn't apply in this case being that baba uber has given you the authority to cancel if no show grin. Whether she report or not it does change anything. So many frustrated people in Naija, people no dey smile again. Well, if you had embarked on that trip I tell you that it will not end well and one star is sure for both parties.

Hmmm I think you are the one who's wrong grin
I've carried riders going to God forsaken areas and I had to negotiate offline and end trip with them already inside my car, you have to request again when a driver cancels on you
Bro, go get ur facts right, ending a trip is different from cancelling a request. When a request is made from a rider and the closest driver accepts and cancels, the uber server will immediately assign the request to another driver that is close and if there's no driver within that axis then the rider is notified that u have cancelled and he/she will have to request again. That's why you keep getting same request from same rider when you cancel cos there's no driver close and it also accounts for some long pickup location.

So where do one park to wait for request in Ikoyi? Do we start carrying our cars on her head and has this law being passed at the state house of assembly that nobody should park in the streets and even roads. Please I need to be enlightened on this.

It's not the network. It's intentional. What is important to Uber is that the rider gets a car quick.
They may have stopped it now as it was causing more confusion than good.
No sir its not intentional, you are wrong sir. The reason why the drivers kept changing was that they were cancelling the request. Uber operates like this, when a request is cancelled by a driver the request goes to the next closest driver to the rider. So if you are a rider and u make a request and different drivers kept calling you just know it that they are cancelling/declining the request until it gets to who is willing to go on that trip.

I don't know why Nigeria has to be this difficult in all angle, what's there in telling people not to park there, instead they will be waiting for who will fall prey so they can smile.
I think those idiots are just out to frustrate uber/Taxify drivers and its gonna be worse in the coming days. They believe that every car parked on the road with someone inside is an ehailing vehicle whereas there are also several other vehicles parked along the same road. Cameron road in ikoyi is not a major road, I do relax there atimes self but with this I don't japaa.
