The shake out they have been doing for past 7ys. Incase you don't know Guiness Nig took a high interest loan of $95m loan from the parents coy Diegeo in 2016 and have been servicing it at the expense of their minority shareholders.

As it stands now Nigerian Breweries at N50 is better than Guinness at N10

Q2' 2020 interim dividends have now been declared in full and payment is being awaited. Its not over yet though. A few companies declare interim dividend when releasing their Q3 reports so more is likely to be announced next month. These include

- Nestle
- Seplat
- Nigerian Breweries
- Total (sometimes)
- Okomu Oil (Sometimes)

NB and Total may skip this year but the other 3 may still declare.

Guinness management should better beg Nigerian Breweries for bailout if not delistment is knocking on their door.

Their share has lost over 95% in value from 2013 to 2020. It dropped from N300 to N13 while their market cap depleted from N450B down to a paltry N30B

By the time you deduct their N23B debt you will see they are now a carcass.

Note: The competitive environment has swallowed both Guinness and international Brewery.

How funny people could sound.They have refused to have stock trading as one part of their hustle.They came into nse thinking it is naira bet.You have never seen them make informed analysis on nse.All the noise they make now is all about some other countries exchange with their change that made no difference in nse.They equally want to drive traffic to another thread where they contribute nothing with different monikers..They are quick to list companies that are not doing well but forgot to mention the likes of NB that I bought at #22.Bros let it be known ,nse is not for get rich quick people.All I can tell any new comer Stick with companies that have been paying dividend and at the long run you will not regret.I have been in the game for over 20yrs so I am speaking from experience

Kindly explain why NSE is a burial ground? NSE is not involved in day to day activities of this companies but people transact trade based on performance data or information coming from this companies. If a company is doing well despite the challenges in the market, it receives kudos in share price appreciation. If it is not doing well, market responded with drop in its share prices. So let go NSE in the predicament of these companies.

With all the good result Zenithbk and GTB has been churning out all this this yrs what are their price today?

We all know in NSE the regulators (SEC. NSE.and coy MGTS are only after their pockets while the minority shareholders funds keep depleting. thats why coys like uacn. oando..guiness are were allowed to raise money few yrs ago and still have nothing to show for it.

In a sane country about 90% of coys listed in NSE ought to be delisted by now.

GUNNIESS declared no dividend and a loss of $31million USD which will take them multiple years to recover and still yet some don't believe that Nigeria Stock Market is now a burial ground.

StanbicIBTC charges nothing extra on my USD Dorm account. I only had to fund the dorm with USD and linked my USD Mastercard ATM card to Trading 212 via Gpay. No extra charges once i deposit from there into Trading 212 stock account.

I see which means the GPay option will help circumvent all the banks charges.

I have dollar account with FidelityBank attached to a Mastercard which I want to use in funding my 212 Trading accts.

Below are the charges FidelityBank gave as their transfer charges:

Commission: 0.5% of txn amount
VAT on commission: 7.5%
Telex charge: $26 (fixed)
Surcharge: 0.1% of txn amount

Now My questions

Are the charges okay compare to those using ECOBANK & ZENITHBK.. because I have dollar too with those 2 banks..

Its a growing bank and very innovative....Board position is strong including management and their books looks good for a growing bank, with majority of its shares in few hands

Indians also play a major role in the future of the banks management.

Its best for me....I will accumulate more for long term.

If you are accumulating sterlingbank just bear in mind the FairValue is not upto 30kobo if in doubt ask Emmanuelewumi
