YeeboMuslim:They are hypocrites and are always bitter. They tell lies too much. Igbo. Igbo. They can twist. Come to think of it, they have been fed with lies about the cou.p by their forefathers. They need to own up and apologize, publicly and also send special emissary to the states where these galant officers k1lled come from. |

1nice:Mechionu. You will say Yeastern Jew descendants want Obi. Don’t sell us a dead-on-arrival product. We don’t say you shouldn’t campaign for your candidate but don’t pack all Nigerians into one box of ignomi.ny that you are known for. When it is time that a candidate which all Nigerians will vote will come, I will let you know. Currently, none of the three front runners can’t solve the problem at hand. |
psucc:May you live long. He cannot even tame the one on public sector if even 15 years to rule let alone the one in private sector. Let alone the one in every individual Nigerian. |
Youngpaperboy:Did he come back through fresh elections? Please tell me what I don’t know about impeachment. I feel whoever is impeached is gone. With evidences, please. Thank you. |
I am waiting to know the hospital where Obi will admit over 150 million Nigerians for blood transfusion so that they can be washed clean of corruption. Corruption that he couldn’t curb for 8 years in that tiny Anambra State. Now he wants to go and tame what has consumed his more powerful ancestors. Nobody can stop corruption. There’s no economy that is not corrupt in the world, no matter how little it may be. He could have said he would provide enabling environment where corruption would be reduced. He knows what his gullible followers want to hear and he is dishing it for them hotter. |
SmartPolician:He is already biting the dust. Igbos are always losers when it comes to presidential election in Nigeria. Ilé ò gbàá, ònà ò gbàá níí s’ewé àár’àgbá. Eastern Region ‘ò níí r’ójú until they apologize to the North for killing most senior galant officers in that cou.p. Eastern Region will keep eating political leftovers unless they repent from their hatred-filled character. Saboteurs gbogbo. |
Felabrity:Onye n buru |
Felabrity:. Two-two weeks program that do not have test or exams. Some are even online and on-demand. Just pay and get your certificate. Even some multinational companies offer it for free. I did lots of these courses on Havard Managementor free-of-charge when I was working in Nigeria with sone multinational companies and heaven didn’t fall. Disillusioned gala seller descendants. |
jmoore:Read it; you that can comprehend or bring your own evidence. At least I have supported my argument with facts. Stop arguing blindly like zombiedients. Full of lies like their messiah, Obi - the incoming president of the red soil country. Looser. |

jmoore:Click on this link: https://www.gov.uk/running-a-limited-company Suegbe. Your loads and savior, Obi the Yeastern Nigerian president held 1 share so he is a director. Parts of his responsibilities is to file annual returns. Under that annual return, he has to include his tax return. We know how you Igbos love to twist narratives in your favor and that’s one of the reasons to have not been able to rule Nigeria and you won’t rule by the grace God almighty. You will continue to be second fiddle in the affairs of Nigeria. You can go and hug 33kva naked wire on this. I don’t give a hoot. Once the pendulum doesn’t swing in your direction, you change the story and would be speaking with both mouths. At least you can’t know the UK more than the UK government. Click on that link. It is about annual return of limited liability company, which HimTuLie was running to swindle the UK government in tax evasion. Therein contains all that goes with filling annual returns. Olori pelebe. Nothing in their heads, other than discord and hatred for who is already at par or ahead of them. |
jmoore:I have replied you before. Go and see my modified reply where I tried to educate you more by putting the UK government’s link that talks about Annual Return. I have also attached a screenshot of it here. Quarter-baked graduate. Part of lazy Nigerian youths who only know how to press phone and listen to music about women and butts.
|
jmoore:Come back to your sense. Tax Return is part of Annual Return. Ok? Don’t come here and bamboos us with your IPOB thinking and your Madonna University (glorified secondary school) knowledge. Read this to be sure of what Pandora is running away from: https://www.gov.uk/running-a-limited-company/company-annual-return Open Directors’ Responsibilities and you would see that tax return filling is there. I have helped you to screenshot and attach it, in case you said you can’t find it.

femisplash:Leave him. He doesn’t know what is called LIFTING THE VEIL OF INCORPORATION in Company Law, where the court will ignore the company and go after those behind it. There are lots of popular cases on this. See: Gilford Motor Company v Horne (1933). Even if Obi has ‘resigned’ he could still be prosecuted. He was deliberately running away from rendering annual returns so that government won’t see how he had cooked his books of accounts. Na fraud full that im flat head. |
unmask:They are all blind, spiritually. Conman gbogbo. Dem go still disappoint the werey pastor again. May be e go kukuma contest later to test his popularity. Religious bigots. Werey has seen the signs that his preferred candidate ain’t going nowhere near Aso Rock and he is making last minute’s effort to confuse his zombie admirers and followers. APC and PDP would bea.t shege for Oyedepo’s candidate’s body. |

Guyman01:No. Not the same as UK. UK is different from Nigeria. Their tax laws are thousands of nautical miles apart. |
Maximeo:Then deactivate your account and leave. Don’t register with another monikers o. When things favour Obi, you don’t complain about Nairaland. Land it’s against Obi but you are sad and grumbling. |
emonis88:No, oga. Don’t use common sense to explain Business Law or Tax Law. |
BluntTheApostle:His comment was written with zombie color. It is a newly discovered color in a Biafra Institute of Material Science laboratory in Alaigbo. |
sanpipita:How did you know this, please? Can you share the company’s amended Memorandum of Association and amended Articles of Incorporation and minutes of board meeting(s) where it showed that Obi is/was no longer a director in NEXT? Can we have access to the shareholding structure before and after Obi ‘left’ the company, as you have claimed? The way we defend evils and lies is one of the reasons Nigeria is going backward. |
Geonigga:Filing annual tax return in the UK is too simple to do. It can even be done electronically (online) in a very simple interactive way. Just that tax officers can come later to check your records to be sure you filed it properly. Another way he could have done is to engage the service of tax professionals and it doesn’t cost a arm to do this. Tax professionals are all over the UK. Even Nigerians are among them. There’s is more than 70% probability that NEXT International is hiding something from the UK Tax authorities, for not filling his returns. UK is not like Nigeria. Every individual and businesses must comply to/with tax laws there. |
MyFlair:Àdàpè loan ni wón ún pè ní mortgage. Loan ni loan ún jé just that he could still be repaying the loan and May be that’s why the property has not been repossessed by the financial institution that gave him the loan. |
obyno82:But he ought to have done that formally. You don’t close a business in the UK by word-of-mouth (òrò enu). I would even love if you can share where Obi said he wasn’t running the UK biz again. Don’t be Obi’s advocate here. I have ACCA and I did and passed UK tax. So there’s nothing you can say here on UK tax that I don’t have a little or an average idea of it. Even he has to deregister from his VAT registration, assuming his company was dealing in ‘VATABLE’ items, provided he had registered for such before based on his monthly revenue threshold, as stipulated by VAT law. |
Cantonese:Please, what does mortgage mean if it is not loan? If you buy a house on credit and you are paying small small, have you completed paying for the house before you are given keys and sone documents of the property? The remaining money you are owning is what, please? Won’t you be paying interest on the periodic payment you are making? No nah. I do not like it when we are being sentimental. Assuming it is Tinubu or Atiku that is being discussed under this heading, will you defend them the way you are defending this man that took the mortgage? |
AdaojoTheUrchin:But UK law requires every businesses to file their tax returns, in as much as such businesses have not filed for bankruptcy. For Obi not to notify the UK authorities of his intension to close down the business or to file for bankruptcy ( in case the business went bankrupt), he is expected by the law to always render is return annually. This is not a matter of being strategic or being frugal. I am certain he would have been told this by his advisers when he was setting up the business. Another angle to it is that he could be running away from being taxed on all other businesses he could have all over the world, especially if he has a registered place of primary residence in the UK. I would t want you to defend what you don’t know or just talk out of common sense. Rendering/filling annual returns, calculating tax estimates etc are technical than what we could use our sense of politics to explain to opposition in any political forum. You can try to read more on UK Finance Act 2021, if that if 2022 is not ready. Also try and read more on Residency in Tax, whether on UK businesses or Nigerian businesses. |
blaise26abj:You would see shege. Anumpa. |
blaise26abj:You are still pained because of the way Awo dealt with your ancestors, abi? That’s why you are looking for who to vent your anger on. Don’t worry, history will repeat itself. We will send you r present generation to another hell of starvation and hunger after the election, if you try to foment any trouble. |
Newspaper awards from committee of friends and cronies. |
