becomrich4:BECOMRICH4, well well well. What can I say, except you are psychotic and indeed a mad man, abi woman. Na you sabi All this cyber warfare to establish a ODUDUWA Empire. But one hard lesson you should remember- That is- TALK IS CHEAP Wth or without your silly maps and illegal posting of FACEBOOK names and info lol!!! |
Ikengawo:What is all this nonsense writing. You talk as if you are dealing with a serious nation. DO you really know what a "National Guard" does and when it was established in countries like the U.S.? BTW, dont tell me FRANCE is responsible for producing Orji Kalu, Ibori, Abacha, etc. We are not talking about 1968 here, before you start saying Tanzania wants a divided Naija to sell its music across Africa |
Why all the fuss about Ohaneze? What have they done all these years on the national and regional improvement for those they claim to speak for? Even Hezbollah have done more self improvement and developmental projects for their people. Press statements from Ohaneze Chairman, then Ohaneze Chairman Lagos Chapter, then one so-called Ohaneze Chieftain, then Ohaneze Deputy Publicity Secretary says, over and over and over again, and really, they arent saying much other than stories filling up the back pages of Naija newspapers. Already they are talking about 2015 when we still havent put together a comprehensive election scheme for 2011. I mean, whats going on with Ndigbo people? |

LFJ:See how many African countries dey for that list. Na wah Then again, Pakistan and Kenya are doing better than Niger, so that list is questionable. chakula:You make a good argument here, but do you consider the populace and non government holding citizens part of the problem. Leaders are choppin money because the general populace isnt serious enough to do anything about it. How many Hausa folks are going to seriously overthrow their feudal rulers in Kano, Sokoto, Zamfara, etc. In Ogun state, robbers are dealing with banks without fear, and you wonder what Ogun folks are doing? Across in Abia, kidnappers are heavyweights, yet the people are planning for the upcoming New Yam festival. In Bayelsa, "terrorist" are showing western journalist that they can use speed boats very well, but to seriously take action-no, except to claim and deny bomb blast in modern cities. |
phantom:Abi Some politicians just want attention |
I'm sure if the police had helicopters, things would have been better sheh' ![]() |
Just look at the NFF/ the coach/ and the team list. Its rubbish for the most part. If we are bringing in Kaita we should have brought in Yakubu and even Oruma. Is the coach thinking Kaita is David Beckham, and hoping for Kaita to captain the team at the next World Cup? Why is it that Naija refuses to change instead of recycling the same ole politicians, pastors, and now players |
Na wah. Even in Lagos, not Aba? |
Andre Uweh:Ode Are you even "serious" yourself? |
Well I understand what the poster is saying, but its not just Africans that are doing this. Latinos and Asians are bearing Christian names and all. In Naija, most people who have a Christian name still have a native name and are still African. You cant say that for the Northern part of the country that despite how black they are, see themselves as if they are ARAB, when the Arabs see them as inferior olodos. Going to Europe, you'll find Isabella, Elizabeth, Eliza, Mary, Maria, Peter, Pablo, etc., which actually are biblical/Hebraic names that were given to Christians (i.e. King John, Queen Mary) etc. |
miqos02:How has the one in Kano helped? |
I watched a Naija movie yesterday that prop was shot/originally produced in 2001, featuring many old time actors (End Time). From the location to acting, to wardrobe, you can see that Nigeria (as usual) has had the potential to go far. Yet after that movie, I watched two other films (Ghanain and Naija) made prob earlier this year, and yes, crappy. In 10 years we have gone backwards in film quality, acting, and can only do drama movies. Ghana on the other hand with the 10 or so actors they have are producing and acting a bit better, but the vulgar language and copy copy of American slang is silly. Everything is not about tryin to make money at the expense of the larger picture. |
Well we obviously dont need a monster by the name of Edwin Clark to tell us what we already know. In fact he prob was reading Nairaland comments on that Ciroma Says thread. If I were to give him an inch of credit, it would be that he at least is standing up to not just a political lightweight, but a bigtime Northern politician. This is at least a good change because it is those same Northerners that made him and who he has over the years been happily married to at the expense of his Southern brethren. |

So why have we not "dropped" Eguavoen? While a host of serious nations have begum their build up to 2014 we are still using a caretaker coach? |
Many diasporeans come back here and become leaders and continue the crookery! Mbadinuju of Anambra, Chimaroke of Enugu, even Ibb and OBJ were at Sandhurst at a point in their lives. So its the diasporeans that are the real wahal we have.
If its American visa that's troubling you then just apply for the Canadian one. Apparently you havent read that Diaspora persons have contributed over 1 billion dollars to Nigeria's economy/families last year, and more towards health equipment, community development projects, scholarships, and many more. Meanwhile, in Naija, silly mallams and fake pastors are there collecting their share of the loot misleading Nigerians, and speaking to god in the process. Naija girls are aristoing their youth away and Governors of the SE/SS are collecting extra oil money from NDDC to buy property in Maryland. So again, mind yoursef |
So what does leading in JAMB mean? Nothing. Please, lets be more serious |
Shame, But what do you expect from a country hijacked by Gowon and co till now? |
The leopard and its spots! Many guys leave naija not because opportunities are scarce as they are quick to blurt out to every listening person, but they dont want to build from the ground up, they lack vision, patience, focus and foresight. Some are misfits who cannot bend to any rules in their environment and simply need easy money. Yahoo boys and harlots. Some are trouble makers that nearly gave their parents a heart attack so the old man sells a land and bundles the child away to hustle abroad, wishing the child spends the rest of his days in a foreign jail. Good riddance! The man can now stay back and enjoy his old age. Some stole money entrusted to them and run away to foreign lands, bankers, salesmen, apprentice traders etc, are guilty here. Only about 15% come over on good business, academic pursuit. Lets tell ourselves some home truths.
Dude, seems like you wrote this out of some quick emotion that monopolized your senses. How about 85% of Nigerian current leaders (from Exec down to state assembly) are crooks. Former rulers are even up to 95%. That's the root of the problem. Plus you think the Western World isnt part of the exploitation of Africa? |
Notin Thats all GEJ should be telling those morons. Notin go happon. Enough of those backward folks trying to re-lead us to an early grave |
matchy:Sharrap Queen Eliza is no longer ruling your village. Who pushed Amodu? Nonsense |
LouisThoru:Sir Louis, I see you were so confident in your post on the other Enugu thread that you, of course, started your own with the same quote. You see, there's something called development, and when you have an opportunity to develop you take it. You say luxurious buses could have been bought so that only luxurious folks can take them to London and Dallas abi? Talk is cheap |
Onlytruth:I dont agree with hiring Soludo, but I do agree with a comprehensive plan to cash in on the airport. Do you guys know how much money the region can render from the airport, and how competition from carriers would benefit not just those going to the East, but Naija at large. |
@ babapupa Make we hear word. Back to topic. SOOOOO, I assume December we shall see the REAL DEAL? Thats the time many of us travel back home |
chyz:My dear let me first commend you for this gist. However except for the opening in December, havnt we heard and reheard this Airport news over and over with no REAL end result? All they could tell us was in December there will be flights or is it "Operation". |
babapupa:Well done. This thread has gone round and round as a result of what GEJ said when he went to Anambra state. So what if he said Anambra is the greatest and I mean greatest land in Africa for election purposes. The issue is, is Anambra where its supposed to be, and Nigeria as a whole? The answer is NO. |
Obiagu1:God bless you. Imagine Imo State sending who else but Ohakim, Nzeribe, and perhaps Homer Simpson as reps to that Conference under the current framework. |
In a serious country, someone like Udenwa would have since been probed and carried away to prison. How can he arrogantly come years later to say he was solely responsible for another criminal taking over Imo State. BTW, I thought Udenwa on his last day urged Imo people to vote for APGA guy, who Iwu and co rigged against. Why didnt Udenwa cry out then? |
So what does all this mean? It sounds like traveling in circles |
1) Well Well, so Atiku is running for President under PDP? What happened to AC? This is nonsense. 2) N10 Million? Just like that eh? What did he do/bring for Jigawa masses he supposedly is bailing out when he was VP for EIGHT YEARS? Maybe that they should do sharia and their problems will be solved |
LOL Mr. Ciroma, you are crying now? Why? You were there when OBJ was rigged as PDP candidate abi Preisdent, then when Yar Adua was long missing you didnt say much. Now the man that Yar Adua chose as his deputy you are talking rubbish. WHy dont you run and see if you are what Nigerians are looking for. |
