Bolade005:I don't mean to disrespect the person of GEJ, but we can't always give him credit in arrears, it's a fact PMB has not built any new refinery or pipeline but his prudent management of our resources and implementation of (existing) policies that has brought about this change we are experiencing. How can it be GEJ when he did his very best to bring down fuel price but couldn't? Was there a time that fuel sold at official pump price at all fuel stations during his era? They say our refineries are working in less than 50% capacity yet we are seeing this downward trend in pump prices, how much more when production approaches 100%? I will take your comment with a pinch of sarcastic satire. ![]() |
So eating is the only form of entertainment for Naija babes? What happens to playing a game or taking a stroll in the park? Are Naija babes always hungry for food? Na wa ooo ![]() |

I thought as much, that DSP's death is a setup. Why him go die leave all that money ![]() If na PDP been dey control FG, the man no for die; this APC sef, Dem don give Alison cancer join ![]() |
Joeace3000:Which one should we rather prefer: to be attacked with Verbal bombs on social media or suicide bombers on the street? I think the reason some Muslims take the later approach is the inability to express their bottled up opinions on some issues of religious differences with people of other beliefs. Christians are more open and tolerant of religious criticisms than their Muslim brothers. ![]() |
largehead:...but can't resist taking a peep and commenting? I like your moniker. ![]() |
Mogidi:I always wonder at the wisdom in that, yet we talk of freedom of expression. I guess the ...... are all religious bigots. If people of different religious beliefs are segregated on social media, what's the essence of the "social" added to "media"? |
It's on record that ladies "suffer" from mood swings, that should explain... ![]() ...but OP, how are we sure you can get up and stand till the anthem is over? ![]() |
Smithkline555:I will assume you are a newcomer on here, try and get use to the humor; most people on here aren't as daft as their comments sound. so save yourself the exasperation. ![]() |
SSpeter:At least I have been to school, MCB is never a 5-year course, unless the school in question is not in Nigeria, abi them don change? |
Why detain the would-have-been-husband when a simple test of the fluid found on the deceased matched his, would proof if he is the culprit or not. Naija sha... poor man nor dey get invitation to police station na arrest. |
Bevista:120bn - 16bn = 104bn I now understand why corruption is an institution. sharing the balance equally on state basis, each state +FCT gets 2.8bn to make noise with. ![]() |
What audacity? Some men get "liver", sex the wife, beat up/bite up the husband. Too bad. Man pass man no be joking matter. |
Cancer? It may be divine judgment since Nigerian system won't be able to adequately judge/punish her for wrong doings in office. She doesn't necessarily have to be in perfect health to give account of her stewardship, I bet the cancer was there when she did all she is accused of. The battle is not to the strong nor perfect health to the Uber-rich. ![]() |
Is there no wailer to do justice to this report? I know it's a complex report that will take some time to debunk. ![]() |
After all said and done, let's not forget that we are a product of the "love affair" of/with our parents. children from an abusive home may tend to gravitate towards people that would treat them or they could treat in like manner in a relationship. Sometimes a "girl" may go into a relationship with a "guy" with that father-child love fantasy still intact in her mind, and if the "guy" is just a "guy", she is bound to be dissatisfied no matter what; leading to a walk out. The reverse can also apply. Maturity comes when one is able to root and upgrade that default settings that are not in one's best interest and/or that of others. Ps: I overlooked those that go contrary to their better upbringing/judgment just to spite |
Setaje:It depends on what make up the size. A flabby size 2x7" won't give the same performance as a muscled size 2x7". ![]() |
Let me borrow OP's analogy, nobody should embark on a long journey with a defective car. Marriage is a long journey, and long journeys can be boring, couple that with a defective engine, is a recipe for temper rising. ![]() |

I wonder who is being witch hunted here? Prolly APA ![]() |
If she doesn't sing his praise, who will? That's what a wife is suppose to do, support your man and his decisions, no matter what. In short, am now her fan. ![]() |
It's a typical case of "spare the rod and spoil the child". The child has never had any form of discipline from the parent, which explains the child's audacity to flush away the money knowing the mother won't bat an eye, but she did this time; and being that the mother prolly never disciplined the child, doesn't know where to draw the line between correction and abuse. In my part of the world, Dem no born u well make u break plate while washing, talk less of flexing with ur school fees; flushing that amount of money down the drain is unimaginable. It can't happen for Naija, even if the pikin chop witch. ![]() Ps: Though I know of a case, I ask a child in my neighborhood why he was giving the mother attitude, he replied "mother doesn't beat me or give me something to do as punishment". Single motherhood is a challenge. |
funkiebully:Silly indeed, ![]() Yes, they were all convicted in media court that's why they went on to hold positions in international organizations ![]() |
Na wa ooo It's only a panel of investigation not a tribunal or court. until the matter reach court, icpc, EFCC, na media trial. If they like make them petition for the removal of Ameachi, it Won't affect the minister nominee from my state. ![]() |
When was the last time we heard ministerial nominees were petitioned? Truly things have changed. ![]() |
[KJV] Proverbs 9:17 Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant. but... Some women are without shame. So we should give you a standing ovation for washing your dirty panties on here? Even as a single man I would be ashamed to post my sexcapades on here. Congrats anyways. |
Very inspired post. Every motivational success book talks about mentors, and like the OP's experience, negativity abounds in Naija, positive mentors are scarce. Those that you look up to as mentors are looking for ways to exploit you to the maximum, and so you are drawn into the vicious cycle, if don't realize it for what it is. |
They only people that are "disappointed" with the list are those that maybe expected to see their names in it but didn't. ![]() |
Saints? The only Nigerian saint I know is St. Tansi. Were we looking forward to seeing St Tansi's name on that list? (Apologies to the Catholics) |
passionate88:I sure did and still pray for the peace of Nigeria, I was not/am not blinded by political hate for GEJ because even if/when PMB is replaced by another Person, the peace & prosperity of Nigeria would still be a priority. That's my hypocritical position. ![]() |
One sure thing about Nigerians is we take joy in the misfortune of others irrespective of ethnic or party affiliation. If we had sensitized our people instead of making it a northern problem to be solved by FG it wouldn't have gone this far. The bible admonish us to pray for the peace of the land we live in for therein lies our peace. [NIV] Jeremiah 29:7 Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper. |
