Years back before Naija dreamed of GSM, One girl wey I dey toast told me, "If u are serious come and visit me in my village". Na so I mumuishly find my way from PH go the last bus stop in Ubakala, with no address except her first name, Ugadinma (apologies if I get the spelling wrong). from the bus stop I befriended the guys there with enough palm wine, and the search took off in ernest. 3 girls in the village matched the description with the same name I gave and off we went to check them out one by one. But they all turn out not to be the girl. At the last palm wine joint as I prepare to call off the search, as it was about 6pm, a guy walked in that happened to be a cousin to the girl I was looking for; as a job man, the guy asked for his fair share of palm wine and pepper soup before taking me where I want. The funny thing was, the girl's house was right opposite the joint and she was outside. |

I guess our religious beliefs make us think paranormal/supernatural acts were consigned to the era of biblical Moses, but that art is still practiced by people today. In the days before the advent of phones (so don't ask for pishore ), I witnessed a traditional act in which a young boy was put in a mortar and pound to a pulp by 3 men, they later poured the bloody pulp on the road covered it with plantain leaves and the young boy got up, whole. |

Is it that you don't know how to start a thread? Na wa to you ooo criminalmindz: WHO SAY BUHARI NO DEY FEAR? THE ALLISONS VS BUHARI
"Why Has Buhari and His APC Attack Dogs Quietly Retreated From Attacking Diezani Alison-Madueke?What does Buhari want to be kept a secret concerning his cowardly withdrawal from the media lynching of the former Petroleum Minister and first female OPEC President? As you may be aware, Alison-Madueke's husband is Rear Admiral Allison Amaechina Madueke, a retired Nigerian naval officer. He was military governor of Anambra State from January 1984 to August 1985, and then of Imo State until 1986.The husband of the former Petroleum Minister is a retired General just like Buhari and the whole attacks on his wife by the APC finally came to a head about a month ago.Madueke booked an appointment to see Buhari and Buhari was happy to see him thinking he wants to come and beg, so they can carry news of their meeting as propaganda as this irresponsible government often does. When he got to Aso Rock, Madueke warned Buhari over the attacks on his wife.Sources in Aso Rock say, Buhari was apologizing, that he didn't send anyone to do what they are doing. Madueke said that if they think his wife went to school for nothing they are mistaken. Or that in her 5 years in the petroleum ministry she didn't uncover corruption during Buhari's time, then he is mistaken. That if he hears one more assault on his wife from Buhari and the APC, in any format, he will personally call a world press conference and expose all their dirty oil deals dating back to the very beginning of discovering oil.He threatened that when he exposed how the Northern has raped this country's petroleum resources, they can kiss Nigeria goodbye, because the people of the Niger Delta will know the extent of the injustice done to them by Northerners.People who witnessed this meeting say Buhari was shaking. Begging, that he never attacked Diezani. He never sent anybody to write anything. The man told him off, saying, "But you read those reports that said my wife was running after you in the tarmac, that she greeted you and you did not answer her greeting?! Did you disclaim them?!! Did you tell people it did not happen?!" They said, Buhari was apologising that Madueke should calm down.Madueke finished what he had to say and walked out. Buhari's aides were stunned.Since then, nobody has even tweeted anything about oil, Diezani, etc. |

Any thing that touches on religion or faith, we nor dey gree That we pray and cover ourselves with the blood of Jesus before leaving our house for a journey does not mean we shouldn't check the road worthiness of the vehicle and the driver. I think it has less to do with our spirituality than our lack of safety consciousness as a people. PS: It would have made more sense if the OP didn't paint the article red with the blood of Jesus, or at least balanced it with the Muslim aspect; now the message of the post would be lost in religious bigoted comments |

Christianity Etc › Re: Why Is God Going To Destroy HIS ENEMIES In Hellfire?(photo) by menxer: 9:07am On Sep 20, 2015 |
Teempakguy: posts like this make me ANGRY.
First off, a GOOD God would be the champion of equality. Despite the fact that he created us, he would view us as equals. The way you're describing God . . . sounds like darken rahl or the fire lord in avatar. Just admit that we're pawns. Mere slaves, or tools to be manipulated by God, stop saying God loves us and so he sent his only begotten son . . . and stuff . . . if he doesn't veiw us as his equals, then he wouldn't need to do all that. He could just simply discard us.
Secondly. NOTHING justifies hellfire. NOTHING. It doesn't matter how much you try to sugarcoat it, the fact is still there that the concept is very cruel and wicked. Imagine the six million Jews that Hitler horrifically killed. Well, most of them were not Christians, so I guess they will burn in hell, then? Before the missionaries came. Several generations of native tribes flourished on west Africa. The owu war was a very brutal war that claimed many lives. I guess they will also burn! The king of Dahomey once killed ONE THOUSAND prisoners in one day to appease HIS God, imagine the surprise of the innocent prisoners which included women and children when they find themselves undergoing the same punishment with the Dahomey king.
Dude, you have a brain! Reason! Think! Do you really think God is that wicked? If he is, then why is he lying that he is a good God that loves us? Can you cut off your son's fingers for stealing all your money? Reasoning comes with a high premium few are ready to pay, especially "my pastor said 'Christians'" |

most of the answers you seek can be found in these books: "the lost book of Enki" and "the Earth Chronicles". you must read it with an open mind, if not you may not be able to digest the truth therein. Christianity, as we know it, so far thrives on the "ignorance of its adherents" to the advantage of the few church elites. i have nothing against that since i belong to the "ignorant adherents", but coming to terms with the bigger jigsaw puzzle, whose missing pieces scattered over millennia on earth are gradually being brought together. the truth is some are benefiting from the paradoxes of the christian setup, and there is nothing we can do, but... The future is buried in the past, and the past scares most people to even want to take a glance; because they believe "No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God" (Luke 9:62) yet "Is there anything of which one can say, "Look! This is something new"? It was here already, long ago; it was here before our time" (Ecclesiastes 1:10) from Ecclesiastes 1:10, does the Bible contain all the records of the time before our time? |

Come to think of it, if you know the stress of sexing a virgin the first time, you won't ask for that experience on a night as special as your wedding night. No man is supposed to own God's tithe, not even the pastor - God will judge him seriously!
Tithe is 10% that you pay to God for protecting you, your family, finances and other things around you from the hand of the devourer.
I'll challenge you to it, those who pay tithes hardly spend on I'll health and accidents or mishaps. That is why they end up using their monies well than non tithers. This is what I have experienced in life.
