Okoyiboz3:I beg to disagree, SE have Human resources in addition to whatever else they may have that I may not be aware of. Let's give peace a chance. |
God, Subconscious, Universal Mind all refer to the super powerful part of us that is neither negative or positive, good or evil, but all depends on how our conscious mind interacts with it. This is in line with the first law of thermodynamics which says, energy (evil/good) can neither be created nor destroyed but transformed from one form to another, based on one's perspective. It is in line with this law that the God of Moses transformed to the God of Jesus, from the God of Vengeance to the God of Love based on "one" man's conscious interactions with It. Your "prayer" is just a means to interact with this Mind and transform reality as you perceive it. In my opinion, why our prayers (energy) fail to be answered (transformed to finance/material things) is because of our perspective, which controls our interactions. |
seguno2:@bolded, you can twisted it to fit your perspective, but that is not what he said. You can refresh your memory here: Buhari who painted a gory picture of Nigeria as that of a hound and a monkey engaged in a battle for survival said, “God willing, by 2015, something will happen. They either conduct a free and fair election or they go a very disgraceful way.If We have the impression that the North is always in power, who was PMB referring to? |
limeta:PMB going is the alternative to hate speeches that will bring us peace? I duff my cap for you |
The crux of the matter is that if everybody decides to own a business who then will work in these established companies, who will help run the business. If we are all the same it will be a boring world. That is what the wannabe entrepreneurs forget, they will need people to work 9-5 in their dream company, creating another cycle. Tell me, won't the entrepreneurs do all it takes to keep those staff happy and productive doing 9-5 for the company? Like you rightly said, we all can't be expected to have the same perspective in and about life. |
Did I see BUA on the list? Hhhhhmmmmm |
jakD:Why blame the MODs? what do you suggest, ban all those using or promoting hate speeches? |
Annie939:I guess your state is not getting its monthly allocation? Do you know why the opposition has not been able to capitalise on PMB's sick leave regardless of the rantings of Fayose and FFK? Because PMB did what Yar Adua didn't do, handing over to his Vice. |
But come to think of it, Abuja house is a property owned and maintained by the Nigerian Government whether PMB is there or not, the impression media is giving is he is raking up bills on a hospital bed all these while. As for Adeboye, he is true to his words that he has children on all sides of the divide. |
Hate speeches is now a form of terrorism and shall be treated as such. ~ Osinbajo There is no point thinking that by using hate speeches we can achieve peace, let's try another method. |
He is free to resign from priesthood, but then Rev Fr Eboh comes to mind. |
michelz:I know about the missing part you refer to as documented in other books, but since it's not in the bible.... You know what I mean. |
CAPSLOCKED:Hahahahahahahahaha Thanks for the compliment, but it will be the hell of my own making. |
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. Genesis 1:1-4 (NIV) While meditating on the above portion of the Bible I was captivated by the bolded. If light was created and separated out of darkness, who created darkness or where did it come from? What is "the deep" and how did it come to be? Waters was only separated but not created. Who created waters or where did it come from? If the earth was formless and empty, is that not in support of scientific position that matter at the basic level is empty and that every thing was formed from gases (formless)? Mulling over these questions, it seems these things have the same origin as God: Consciousness. Caveat: This has nothing to do with (dis)proofing the (non)existence of God, but an attempt at pushing at the boundaries of the known. |
boss1310:I guess it's because of our third world mentality. |
Na wa for some people. I thought OP is giving insider info, it is a normal thing, servcie disruption is unavoidable because of many factors. Etisalat is undergoing transition to 9mobile and you don't expect service disruption? That would be a miracle. |
kutchs:Yes I do, And that means two wrongs make a right. Besides, did Yar Adua put GEJ in Acting President capacity before embarking on his medical treatment? You didn't answer my question. |
Kobicove:Hahahahahahahahaha You should know the difference between the ruler and the hatchet man. |
kutchs:I know protest is a right, but is it illegal or unconstitutional for a nation to be run by an Acting President because the substantive President is convalescing? That is what I meant. |
What are we even saying, a temporary means of identification that is not a fake is not a valid means of identification? Na wa! |
billante:How much did GEJ borrow? Leave grammar. |
See them, claiming to be educated and enlightened raining abuses and curses. I thought Charlyboy is the Area Fada? Besides, is there no constitutionally backed legal action he could have taken to achieve the same goal? |
billante:That is beside the point. The point is do a side by side comparison of the borrowing component of the two administration, period. That way you won't have to defend any side, but the figures will. |
billante:Don't apologise for him. What did he start off saying? He should have compared the borrowing of GEJ with PMB, and let the figures paint the picture. |
@OP, The same thing you started out condemning is what you ended up doing. You highlighted the borrowing component in the 2016 & 2017 budget but stylishly side stepped the ones in 2010 - 2015. Why? From your write up you are still a part of the problem, being neutral with your message or analysis is the only way to doused this hate bickering. |
GodsMopol:Meaning those are 4000 perpectives people use to define, know and relate with the reality manifesting the illusion they see as life or universe. The problem is, people are forced to accept one or the other of these 4000 perspectives as presented, but before anything can truly be yours it must be synthesized in your mind. And anything synthesized is always different from the starting material. Using the Christian material, for instance, your mind synthesizes your own perspective, but the problem is you are told not to allow that to happen, you must accept and fit into the general perspective as presented, which is the cause of all the inter/intra religious friction and crisis at the personal level and societal level. The Universe or better put the Omniverse cannot be captured and completely covered in 4000 perspectives, because going by that number we have 4000 perspectives of permutatations and combinations to work with, generating more perspective permutatations as we synthesize, which is why science tells us the Universe is ever expanding but christianity wants us to belief nothing has changed, that It remains "the same yesterday, today, and forever." This contradicts the words of Paul the Apostle that says, "be ye transformed by the renewal of your mind," which supports the ever "expanding" Universe as posited by science. Anything that is transformed aka synthesized cannot remain the same. Showing that the universal mind is always transforming, from the days of "an eye for an eye" to the days of "turning the other cheeck" to the days of a "global village." |
XKZ:The list is unless, but yours is top of the list. Used cars, clothes, household items, shoes, etc are a major part of our lives, so we are all affected by so many people's spirits. It is a miracle we are still sane. ![]() |
When she talk of elite, what is her definition? If elite means those in control of government, can she say she was not among those controlling government? Oh because she is no longer in government she now knows what is right for the country? It is always like that, nobody talks with food in their mouth. |
NwaAmaikpe:Hahahahaha a Hahahaha It doesn't work that way else people like Pst Chris Oyakhilome, Rev Chris Okotie, Pst Eddie Long, Pst Paula White, Pst Ben Enochie, Pst Chris Kwapovwe, etc wouldn't make the list of divorcee. |
This Daddyfreeze sef, people inherently like to be controlled, telling them they can live free of some burdens is unacceptable to them. We have accepted some burdens in the name of religion and/or tradition, unyoking from such won't come easily. |
LeanonGOD:You know what, I have come to know that perspective is what life is all about. The reason I am who I am is because of my perspective about everything, the same goes for everybody. That we have a different perspective about a thing does not make mine right and yours wrong, or vice versa. Remember what is written in the bible, "nothing is evil of itself but thinking makes it so," meaning your perspective which is your perception about that thing determines whether it is good or evil, but not the thing itself. Just like when GEJ said "stealing is not corruption," and we nearly crucified him, because most of us don't share that perspective about stealing or corruption. |
MrHistorian:Your post is a slap on your moniker. An issue ASUU has been at and an agreement was reached since 2009 with FG, what are they renegotiating instead of honouring what was agreed? If the agreement reached in 2009 was not honoured till now warranting ASUU to strike again, meaning ASUU will wait another nine years or so to see if this renegotiated agreement will be honoured? The only good thing is, a Pharaoh that knew not |
