Tribalism will not lead us to anywhere in this country. I don't support fail government. I am one of those that agitate for young leaders in this nation but with what i am seeing from young few leaders in this country, i will prefer military system of government. We are not ripe for democracy. The truth is obvious that the governor has not done any worth things in the state.

I am not saying Yahaya has done anything in Kogi state but my question is were Ibro and Wada any better? I didn't use to hear any real criticism from igalas of the previous governors but all of you are now very awake to how bad the state is because an Ebira man is there. Like u said, we will never progress as long as tribalism is all that matters to us.

I beg to disagree, actually men don't easily show symptoms of an infection compared to women,now as regards hiv, there are many factors involved, so don't just come online and give false hope to people and indirectly promote carelessness. You wanna know the truth? Men NATURALLY love and chase sex more than women. And from our parent's time, men hav ALWAYS been sexually hyperactive but u know what checked the prevalence of sexual recklessness back then? The women had STRONG values and BETTER UPBRINGING. I cannot sleep with you UNLESS it becomes rape without your consent for example. The more women close their legs (as our virtuous mother did) the lesser the promiscuity tendency of men. You cannot change the chasing instinct of a man but it can be tamed. Again i'll give u an example with myself. I dated a smashing beauty up till a year ago (with all my sexual activeness) and stuck to th NO SEX agreement for two years before other issues made us break up. It got to a point that not bringing up the sex issue became second nature in the relationship. If I had moved on to d next two ladies for sex (for example) and they too had the inclination of that my girl, my adaptation wld have been better.

Summary, women hold up to 80% stakes when it comes to controllingsexual adventurousness of both sexes.

It would do them the same honor as it does men. But no, this is about arresting the ills which you have pointed out affects women the most: repercussions of abortion, STIs, et al. If this was of true concern, we wouldn't stop at 'advising' women to avoid pre-marital sex. It must be holistic. If men are not equally prohibited (and I mean EQUALLY; with the same vehemence borne out of the 'concern' for women) from engaging in premarital sex, then you are only forcing a catch 22.

Who are these unmarried men going to be sexually active with if not the unmarried women? Prostitution and homosexuality are illegal and hypocritically frowned upon. What kind of superficial method of protecting 'values' is this? It is dishonest, stupid and highly hypocritical. And for all of the good intentions that you have quoted to bear towards women, the only thing that sticks out is the fact that men want women to run around in circles to let them eat their cake and have it too.

In gender issues, psychologically, men have a greater tendency to be polygamous whether u accept it or not! The one that isn't is termed an EXCEPTION. Women on the other hand are more INTUITIVE naturally EXCEPT in unique cases. These are cases well researched and proven.

Who is at risk of conditions like cervibal cancer, unwanted pregnancu, HIV and all d numerous STI's around? Let's leave the moral aspect out sef in this matter but which sex obviously bears more of the consequences MEDICALLY? I have a live friend who was sleeping with his girlfriend without protection for about two months before discovering she had HIV but is still negative till today after running series of tests spanning 18 months. Meanwhile that gf who is now positive only played "initial away match" with a uniform man 'assistant boyfriend' and found out through d guy when he did medicals in preparation for promotion.
I hav been helpin a 20year old lady by taking her to c a family doctor who discovered she was suffering advanced symptoms of gonorrhea and chlamydia combined which she cld hardly do anything about because NOONE really cared but me, and she is chronically broke (summary of story). According to d doc, if it had gotten to her womb, she would have been staring barrenness in the face. She didn't know she had such until a very foul smelling brownish discharge started flowing from her vagina. Men on the other hand show strong symptoms merely hours after contracting such STI's and can easily save themselves.

Women MUST understand that this 'gender equality' or 'gender balance' issue shouldn't become a suicide induction course. There are just some things that can NEVER be balanced between men n women.

It's really sad the way some girls miss out on their opportunities....this reminds me of an experience I had,I met a girl after church service on a Sunday about 6 months ago,I collected her number and I felt she was an okay person,fast forward to a few hours later when I called ,she told me that she doesn't take calls at night from guys,I was bamboozled but I swallowed it,I waited and then called her two days later ,she picked up and was really cold to me,I then asked the simple question "do you want me to quit calling you?" And her response was no,a week after this whole shenanigans i managed to convince her to have lunch with me but instead she invited me to church and said we could hang out after the midweek service was over this by the way was on a Wednesday ......I promptly attended and after the service ended and I met her up ,we started talking and she said she had some bags to carry home,but she needed to drop them off before we could go out,indirectly she just asked if I had a car,I was plain and I said the best I could do was get a cab for her to carry her stuff and that I didn't have a car but to my surprise she declined and said we would have to fix the date for some other time because she felt stressed ,I smelt the rescheduled date was due to me not having a car,I went home and called her the next day ,it was at that point I got a clear message from her over the phone "please don't call me again,I'd really appreciate that".
I'm quite a simple fellow and I instantly stopped calling and deleted her number......fast forward to exactly two months after that.I was blessed by God and I've bought two SUV cars and she's still single as fvck....my friend runs into her occasionally and he says she looks frustrated but I don't think I care at all,sometimes it's not that these girls play hard to get it's the fact that some of them are just plain stupid and miss out on their partners because of trivial matters

Infact my brother I have decided to SUSPEND anything like car from my life for now. A lot of Nigerian girls are extremely stupid and crazy about cars. Me being cronically single makes driving a cool car around the first tonic for attracting FAKE WOMEN. The poverty mentality around here is real and ingrained!

The truth is mature and genuine guys usually don't stick around too long to play into the "hard to get game" of ladies. I for one tend to be kinda persistent when it becomes obvious that the lady is "gaming" with me (and I'm super intuitive in that regard). It becomes a conquest rather than a commitment. The shorter the attitude the better for me.

The primary duties of a woman biologically is same with that of the man just that the male was groomed into what he is at childhood we all have same reasoning just like in my story but as we get groomed separately we loose that natural behaviour.

Do you know that India do pay groom price? In the North when one gets married it's the woman's family that provide the properties so you can agree with me that culture and ethics varies but the natural behaviour remains even though we strive so hard to thwart it.

It happens. It happened to me a few years ago. Me & my cousin were at her friends' place. There were a few people there & when we were about to leave, one of the cars wouldn't start so all 8 of us packed in one car. My cousin sat on one guy, I sat on the other & one other guy sat on top of another guy It was a practical solution to our dilemma.
