Sprumbabafather: Especially after the civil war massacres and python dance. I remember the Asaba massacres. Don't mind those idiots, Governor Ortom said over fifty security operatives (and thousands of civilians) have been killed in Benue state alone this year by Fulani herdsmen yet they have not been declared terrorists while unarmed IPOB youths are been killed in their hundreds and they expect love and patriotism from us? thunder scatter them. my only happiness is that under Buhari, every part of Nigeria is experiencing the same hunger, killings, SARS, Marginalisation etc. more and more people around the country are sounding like Nnamdi Kanu. One day, the message of IPOB that they rejected would be the gospel they would be preaching. that let this country be split by a referendum. |

Blakjewelry: stop reasoning like a fool. a soldier follows other before anything, if you have a problem direct it to their superiors and the government your grammar =0, your reasoning =0. Boko Haram kill your python. Direct your anger to yourself by committing suicide. The world would definitely be better without another fool. |

topsy23: The wiring is not difficult, the best way is to plan the wiring from the beginning and have a separate consumer unit for all the solar line, the wiring of lighting, socket on solar is the same way in normal PHCN/GEN, just make sure you have two sources of power(aolar and PHCN/gen) to all the solar distribution board from changeover switch by introducing bye-pass. when the inverter/solar is down you can easily change to PHCN/GEN. thanks for sharing more information on this, it's a pleasure learning from you. |

earthrealm: lol, not at all it wont, i use solar, and the wiring is done from the CB,fans, light points, and select sockets are wired to be on the solar line, while other loads are put on the normal/phcn phase in the CB, the avg electrician wud be able to carry out the job would surely look into it, the extra explanations have really given us good pointers on how to go about it. thanks a lot. |

b2212: invest in solar panels. The cost of acquiring a 33 kva Gen should instal sufficient power to run your hotel without ACs. you can then buy a smaller Gen to carry only ACs (LG inverter type) hmm, that's a wonderful suggestion but the wiring would be a bit difficult. we'll seek professional opinion on it. |

AnanseK: Shari’a Law is meant to protect the weak and the society. The weak being protected here is the baby. What the judge is saying is that the man has to adopt the baby for the benefit of the society and also to avoid the breakdown of a marriage obviously consented to by both parties despite the pregnancy. may the same fate befall you and your sons and grandsons to the sixth generation. |

I have seen this play out among female students enough times to know what I'm saying. Concentrate on yourself and build up your financial power. study hard and plan your life accordingly. The more money that you have, the more girls would be the ones chasing you. always consider women as consumable goods. like alcoholic beverages. you can buy only cheap alcohol like kai kai and cheap beer but if you have more money, then you can buy more qualitative foreign brands. the same applies to most of Nigerian ladies, if you have the money, you would have the most desirable ladies running after you. ladies of great beauty and brains with careers in desirable areas. but if you're poor, then only the ugly poor ones would be after you. and big boys would take your young girlfriend /relegate you to back up boyfriend. so concentrate on yourself now and forget about the girl unless you're happy to be her back up boyfriend.[s][/s] Wrong on some level.
I can't say I'm financially buoyant but I have dated the kind of girls u said only rich guys can date. likely as a back up or temporary boy friend without you knowing. |

Xander85: It's unconscionable the fact that the state governor (supposedly a Igbo man) hasn't made any statement or given any explanation as to the sudden disappearance of a traditional ruler, his wife and son on the day the nigerian army invaded their compound! The wicked governor who in all likelihood is in cahoots with the fulani gov't in Abuja is a judas and a disgrace to Ndigbo in particular and humanity in general! politics in Nigeria and the southeast is for animals in human skin like Buhari according to Fela, that's why I support IPOB 'S decision to boycott all political activities. I have voted all my life and yet the government is always enriching the politicians and impoverishing the poor. all Biafrans regardless of tribe should give full support to IPOB. |

uboma: Do you live in an Estate, not as a tenant but a house owner? Federal housing estate. it's an entirely different experience from the scam called private estates. however, what I said above about a group of intending landlords raising money to buy directly from the villagers is becoming the norm here. most people are drawn to private estates due to the packaging but the truth is that those estates are just bushes bought from the villagers by the estate agents. groups of intending landlords can do the same. |

DaddyNimo: Whatever you do never buy any property in an estate, it's fraud, scam and worthless. In an estate, it's simply you own the building but the estate coy still owns the land. What will it profit you if u buy a plot of land in an estate, and instead of paying omo onile as it is on a regular land, they say pay for developmental fee. After that they force a house plan and specifications on you as if they will pay for d building you're about building. After completing the said building, you will den start paying estate development fee annually. To me that's BS. I'd rada carry my money and buy a regular land, pay omo onile and build a house of my choice, and hire street vigilante. Estate of nowadays are nothing but scam and extortion. fork them all. they exist because many people love been elitist, if you really want to live in a planned estate, form a group be it a church group, committee of friends, old boys association etc. go and buy the land directly from the villagers and each person would get his personal land document so he can sell or get a certificate of occupancy at his wish. Here in Anambra, it usually saves you money in the long run because you settle all traditional requirements like igbu ewu ani once and for all. that's the best way to live in an estate. |

nwaorlu: With the cost of stamped concrete above my budget (550 sqm), I am going with interlocking paver. Before I do, I would I need feedback on certain things about interlock.
After interlock bricks are set and compacted, is it possible to fill in the crack with a dry mixture of cement and fine sand (1:10)? If the land is solid, there shouldn't be movement leading to cracks. The whole idea here is to prevent weed from growing in between the crack.
Can interlock bricks be washed and sealed like stamped concrete?
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated I have a thread here where the compound was first well compacted with a small rolling machine similar to the types used in road construction, the compound is then covered with a layer of plastic sheet before the interlocking stones are installed. the compaction helps to prevent cracking due to settlement of the soil, the plastic sheet prevents weed growth while the interlocking gives you the desired finish. |
