If I want a non-frost fridge and you sell a frost fridge for me, can I not ask for a refund or replacement simply because it was "sold in good condition"? As if the "condition" of the item was even the bone of contention.

If you ask for frosty fridge and someone delivers non frost, it's breach of agreement and you are entitled to replacement and everything that comes with it.


But if someone says he's selling XYZ fridge, you as a deal hunter and greedy person jumped on the low price without first making sure if it will serve the purpose you intend for it,if you get burned, take your blame and not try to shift it elsewhere. Reason is because,he disclosed what he's selling. So the issue of non disclosure doesn't even arise at all.

They won't tell you yet and will be like lamb until money exchange hands. That's when you see their true colors. So as a buyer,be wise out there. Ask questions, make enquires. Don't expect the seller to be truthful.

I want to install a gate and I came to you. As an experienced seller:
1. Will you just sell the gate to me without asking if I already have a measurement for the gate I want?
2. If you do not ask, and it happens that you're the supplier, and you didn't make sure the size of your gate fits the allowed/existing space for it, what will happen?
3. If you were shown a drawing of the site where the gate will be and you produced with that, but you didn't realize the dimensions were mid-point to mid-point. You thought that was the space for the gate, and you produced a gate that was wider than the position where the columns should be, what will you do?

Pls, answer the three independently. And this isn't trying to put you down or mess your biz up. Mistakes can be made. But I just want to see how you will handle these situations.

here's what I do when you ask me for a gate.

First I ask, I ask if you want normal gate or have something in mind. Your reply to the question will determine the reply to subsequent enquires. If you want custom size, I will discuss with you the size you have in mind.

Secondly I can't make that mistake of making something without knowing what my client have in mind. In a situation I make such mistake, I will beg the client to return it and get a replacement ASAP. No question asked.

Thirdly, I don't know how to read those drawings so I ask questions about what they intend to do and follow the instructions.

That quote is useless if you don't provide or deliver what was agreed between you and the customer. You seriously need to sit this one out as you really don't know much about business risks and responsibilities. That you produce something doesn't mean you know much about business. And the way you've been going on proves that you may find yourself in hot water sooner than you expect if you carry on like this.

That's why genuine and respectable sellers have some sort of return policy or at least a way to assuage the customer if need be.

I don't produce something that will be returned.

Do you know why, I ensure I deliver absolute best. Unlike our guy in question, I go out of my way to explain to my clients what they're getting and how I intend to deliver it.

As a seller, I also have rights too. You folks should drop some mindset while doing business online. Not everyone wants to cheat you. Trust me,if this woman bought this at the open market. There's no returning no matter what she does. We all should be happy for social media and internet purchases. Sellers now have more than enough to loose with one pissed off customer

The seller didn’t come with options, she came with 3 different tabs, one had charging point issue, one had youtube issue, the other we do not know. When as a seller you come with 3 different options, I’m meant to choose from them, she chose , and upon getting home she noticed the one she chose wasn’t charging , she called sellers attention to it and seller agreed to swap it , the newer one couldn’t open or work youtube, which is one of her main reasons for buying the tab , she called sellers attention to it and seller was being economical with the truth and beating around the bush , buyer decides to bring it to the public , seller starts claiming he would refund, and the very moment buyer agrees to a refund, seller makes a full 360 and starts coming up with accusations that don’t stick, tab broken, blood on tab , morning fresh and every other problem, seller was warned time without number to resolve his issue or risk having a damaged name , seller implored us all to do what we want, and even called us names in the process, I personally and some other aggrieved members seeing through seller lies and dishonest scheme(scam) called him out and warned others to stay clear of that scammer until he resolved his case.

The clown that shared what they believed to be my number here has been immediately ratted out and discovered to be a full time scammer with enough cases on this forum. , you notice a pattern between seller and his defenders. Provide Poopypants indeed, Poopypants was paid to blackmail you indeed. Future focus you be mumu and I implore you to take it further please, trying so hard to remove yourself from the same mess you dragged yourself into. I am happy you mentioned the issue of full disclosure. Any good lawyer would make you see that refusal to disclose fully all features could be seen as a deliberate attempt to 'scam'. The semantics can be visited and analysed but the truth stands apart.

In purchasing technology be it soft or hard, there are usually some very specific details which in the majority of cases are secondary to the everyday peripheral user.

Let's take the case of a Smart T.V for instance, the varied and many features make it very difficult for a regular like like me to decide what I want so my best bet is inclining to age and price which may not be the case.

In buying stuff from here I must say that the adverts and the antecedence of the seller is a good indication of how fluid the transaction will be. People go the whole way in describing their product and stating the negatives. That is what is called integrity...which unfortunately some of us lack.

You for instance sell doors. Are you aware that many people who seek to buy doors from you in the future will conduct a little research by reading your previous posts? I would most definitely not part with my hard earned money just by reading one very loud sentence you made up there...or perhaps will only pay you after delivery and installation followed by due certification.

Pls be very careful with what you post. You are a business man.

By the second time, you could have been wiser and being specific about your choices and still you didn't.
