I do agree with you on the importance and priority of infrastructure. Were the 17 flyovers priority? ... were there constant massive traffic jams at the 17 points that made it necessary for the flyovers? ... the money used .... couldn't it be spent to expand or improve other infrastructure such as new roads ?... rehabilitation of old roads ? ... potable water expansion projects? ... increase in electricity generation and expansion of distribution? Was yet another flyover more pressing than any of these? ... just curious.

There are needs for expanded road and flyovers but none were done when the government was supposed to do them. Right now, people have built into the roads and no civilian government can do what is supposed to. So what I think the government is doing is to put those infrastructure in place before people of his states get rich enough to start building.

Hello house I intend getting the Fireman SDG7000SE diesel generator less the 6 months used one.
My question is, is tge generator a good one to buy when it comes to maintenance? Is it problematic? Are the parts readily available to get ? Attached is a picture of the generator. I will like a honest professional input?

here are the facts based on personal experience

It's a very durable generator and fuel consumption is low so is the noise.

But replacement parts are hard to get because of fake and inferior parts. Another issue is lack of qualified engineers who specialize on such type of kama engines.

If my generator develops a fault, I will need to get that particular mechanic to come fix it and he charges premium. So are the parts. They're very expensive

say the government invests in massive road construction, the construction companies employ at least 1000 labourers, the labourers then put their children through school which employ ten teachers and the teachers feed their families through their salary. That's how government creates employment through infrastructure.

While at it, the direct government contractors might see an innovative idea and invest in it through the profits they made which grows into factories or something else and then employ more people.

Look at China which has become the symbol of poverty alleviation and eradication, what the government did was invest massively into infrastructure development. They started by using external companies and then their people working under those foreigners started working on their own and today, they are main drivers of the economy.

The 8th Sustainable development goal is decent work and economic growth for all.

The Government must invest massively into jobs and economic growth.

Biden said they created those jobs doesn't mean those guys are under the employ of the government. That's the total job added into the labour market which the private sector is taking up the greatest pool.

What Biden is celebrating however is that they made the economic policies that drove the job creation.

The only way government can employ people is massive infrastructure development which is why Biden is pushing for "Build back better". A trillion dollar infrastructure development plan which is expected to boost the minimum wage and drive the employment through the roof.

Unless you're working in the civil service, the government can't directly employ you. Take it to the bank
