Dire warnings are already being passed here about bamboo but I've read different.

We should not be afraid to experiment IMO.

I can accept that the body of knowledge in the structural prescription and application of bamboo is way behind steel rebar but we can get there.

I'm no expert but I will tell you this, don't try this for whatever reason. Buildings are falling even with rods as pillars. Just imagine what it would be like.

Another thing is that our blocks, concrete mixing ratio and other stuff are very much below par. You buy two thousand blocks and up to fifty will be in pieces

honestly eh this thread is either filled with little kids living with their parents. Just yesterday here i spent over 10k coz I went to a client meeting. Fuel plus other expenses coz car broke down. Gues what i still lost the contract. the clients refused to even hand even a penny for fuel.
If i ever ordered something online and it didn't turn out to what I wanted I would at least even if its 1k hand the delivery guy for his time. Some ppl are indeed cruel. Legit is a scam, do whatever you have to do to make money, take that advice from someone above 40yo.

kids full here. I know my daily expenses. No one is supposed to earn less than 100,000 monthly in Nigeria currently

We will be assuming that the land for building both houses is the same.

The first 2 pictures are option 1.

The last 2 pictures are option 2.

I don't know about the costs involved but personally, I prefer the first option as it looks clean and modest. The later is bulky and that's kind of a turn off for me.

Also the first is cheaper to build when you factor in the cost of the land(priceless in SE), the decking and the roofing costs.
