This wasn't really what I like so I did something else.

This color was later approved by the client and that's how my day ended happily

Personally I saw that the colors were off by more than a mile and even the client raised the issue.

So I did something else

I wasn't satisfied with the color of the gate and I had to try lots of things to see what will look best

The client observed that the space between the tops arrows to be too wide.

He drew my attention to it and the security lapse it might cause. So this morning, I bought more of those and added to the gate

After the first and base color was applied, I applied the facial color

Then came the painting. It took lots of stress but I prevailed

Then the finishings and cleaning came

Lots of issues came up and I couldn't keep up with updating this thread.

As at today, the gate is completed.

I will upload as much pictures as I can to show the process of making the gate

Please, what is the current price of 2.5mm plate sheet now? 3ft x 8ft dimension

complete 2.5mm checkered plate is ~60,000 and plain pan is ~55,000.

Kindly note that this is Nnewi price and the correct dimensions is 8ft by 4ft.

I just spoke with the oga who told me it's 55,000 and 53,000 respectively. My earlier price was given to me by the "Nwa boy"

Sometimes, I do have a feeling all these estates are fronts for money laundering, they kept buying lands in HECTARES, Build gigantic FENCE and gate house, sign celebrities as ambassadors and before you know it, the CEOs have started driving Gwagon and lexus 570 with them receiving numerous accolades and awards but guess what?

The estates are mostly empty! We have several of such hyped estates in ogun state with no development happening in the estates for years apart from the Gate house, drainage and fence done.

see eh. With the number of estates propping up everywhere, Nigeria shouldn't have housing shortage or at least it won't be this bad.

But we see the reality
