My big oga made delivery last week without receiving his balance, the client never respond to his chats and calls. Imagine if he's not bouyant enough to accommodate such delay

Truth is that if you have a good business in Nigeria, saving 10,000 isn't a big deal


Question is, how many people have good busines in Nigeria.


Personally I believe there's money to be made here in Nigeria and like he said,we Nigerians don't save well in Nigeria. You see a petty trader calling #100 "ordinary #100" meanwhile he profit in each sale isn't up to #10. So he spends #500 on drinks which is already the profits of many sales put together.


If you have any business and keep reinvesting your profits without going into capital expenditures like building a house or buying a car, you're on your way to being rich.


The difference between Nigeria and abroad is that they have a support system where you can get a house, good car and basic luxury without it being a financial burden on your business

So we got this guy to fix brick tiles on our folks house and he bragged he’s good at laying bricks�� well this is the result.

Apart from the fact that he fixed it in a very ugly way but the cement stains (seems he splashed the cements on the bricks after he was done) refused to come off since last year, we don wash am tire

Is there a way to clean these tiles without actually repainting them? Because repainting will overrule the reason we chose “brick tiles” in the first space.

Or which other corrections can be done on this

What gave you the comfort to put down 85% and why did twinskenny accept it on the contractor’s behalf?
It is one thing to recommend someone and bow out but when you stand in the middle for money to be channeled through you, I believe you are inferring some sort of guarantor/escrow relationship .

The answers to the questions above would determine whether or not to go after twinskenny for your money

It was because of twinskenny recommendation on this site that I involve this guy.. And I told him specifically from the site that all I want is result... Now that we didn't get the result.. Should he the recommender refund my money.. or I wait till the case that doesn't have an ending period..

My reasons for asking the above question is simple... Everyone including me can start recommending people and getting my commision even if I know the person won't deliver...

And sir, I never knew you were not on ground to monitor what he was doing that time, not matter how someone suppose to be on ground to check him, and when he claimed that his machine has fault, you shouldn’t have allow him to take all his equipment out of site since the job is not completed…. Now like I explained to you on WhatsApp the balance of 50k won’t do that job.

So let me know how much is owing you with transaction receipt so I can render it at the station.

My own story is quite different but related to yours . A customer paid 1.7m naira for cables in the month of May and it was on Friday evening. I got to factory on Monday and discovered that the price have changed without notifying us. I was restless and don't know what to do. If I go back to the client it will be as if I wanted to play some games on him. When I calaculeted the difference it was about 215,000 naira . I called some friends to explain everything to them, the advice given to me was that if I can absorb I should just go ahead and supply. I have to supply all tye cables in other to keep the client. And again I hate people coming online reporting

such a thing would have happened to me. At the peak of this inflation,a client made contact and after weeks of haggling price and him getting more quotes,we agreed on something. He insisted that he goes to the market with me to get the materials and that was my saving grace. We got to the market on Monday and I got the updated price list for what I want. Made a quick calculation and realized it can't work. There in front of the salesman and client, I returned the money.

He freaked out and tried to cajole me into moving forward with the business by telling me how unprofessional that is, I insisted that I can't do it at the said price. He angrily went back to the bank to deposit the money back.


I recalled my workers from his site and paid them from my own pocket for a ruined day.
