jihday: first thing I thought too, but on the flip side, against this same Fleetwood about 2 weeks ago, the boy came in with about 10min to the end of the game when there's nothing meaningful he could have done, some people here criticized him like he's the source of their poor game. so bros celebrate his two goals for today maybe you failed to get the point. He came in then and did nothing for 10 straight minutes, the next day theGoodJoe was here telling us how Puel is a inferior to the Bristol manager, now days later the same Puel is the coach and Nacho has performed but nobody wants to sit down and understand that his past failings was his fault entirely instead of blaming the coach, the system and even the club president and fans. |

Icon4s: I didn't actually watch the last night's match although I watched the first leg.
Yeah, Fleetwood may not be a Powerhouse but we as Nigerians have to be proud of Iheanacho that he still has his scoring boots on. Honestly, we will not gain anything by discrediting him.
I think the pressure of Iheanacho's move got to Puel and he had no choice than to play him yesterday. And Iheanacho did what we have always wanted him to do. That is grab the opportunity with both hands.
But I hope Puel did not just use this game to give the young man some little hope only for him to confine him back to bench once the transfer window is closed.
If that Bristol move is still open, I prefer he still makes that move. this is not how the system works and you know that. For example two seasons ago Munir was the highest goalscorer in the Copa Del Rey, no need pointing out where he is currently. This season Arnaiz has scored against all but one Copa Del Rey opposition he has faced, but that isn't exactly something to celebrate, just like we say that if someone kills a chicken we nod, if they kill a goat we clap and if they kill a cow we stand up. This is just killing a chicken, I understand that it is good for the young man's confidence but making it sound as if all the other games where he failed to perform is because of the coach or the system just because he scored twice against Fleetwood does not make sense. That is just the point, he still needs to be consistent, we saw the same flash against Leeds and where did it lead us to? Another dead end, I do hope this one leads to better things but until then... |

andrew444: Yes sound better and mind you Madrid played 2-2 home draw against numancia last week, numancia are in the 3rd division in Spain. you know it's just like a fight between a big guy and a little guy. If the big guy wins there is nothing to scream about there, it's only in Nigeria that the big guy will win and still want us to clap |

bataderemi: United lost to Bristol, so? bristol is in the championship, Fleetwood is a non-division side. Lemme make it clear, we have Epl(Leicester), Championship, League 1, league 2, national league, conference and sunday league(this is where Fleetwood probably reside ). So that is like 7places down, just like Iheanacho scoring against a secondary school NNPC/Shell cup team |

Anyways, you have some that think he needed no improvement but game time....The average Nigerian is sentimental...lol my brother you understand totally |

OMANBALA1: I will never run Kelechi down because I really love the guy, NO HOMO same with Iwobi. He is very cool and quite jovial. However, it was obvious he was struggling to impose himself on games and he needed a wake up call, and boy did he get it..lol. I want to see him grow in confidence and score a freaking hattrick against MAN CITY. Yes, I want a pure undiluted revenge against MAN CITY.
But Michael2 is on another level...lol. Nigga does not miss a lick...lol but I lie? |

kennysville: God sees my heart. The moment I saw the team list and I saw Iheacho as the striker behind Slimani, I knew he was gonna score. Ten minutes into the match, i saw his deft touches and I alerted yall. Only for Mr Mickael2 to start the usual. Well patience does pay. Thats all i can say. Even if he never scored in today's game, he has shown some measure of improvement. He just needs to work harder @ pressing and work rate. I am sure he had a better performance against Leeds, this is Fleetwood, non-division side!!! Against Leeds he was good, then he went below again, I am not dancing at all |

That's one good thing about that friendly : it must have given the coach confirmation of some things like how best to pair Ndidi and Ogu
But Like you have said pairing him and Onazi in the middle will depend on the opponent. he owned the midfield against Argentina kwa? Did you watch the first half? |

But you shaa get my point. Nacho cannot be first choice in Russia. mbanu!
Ighalo is more experienced and all and just finished a fine season in China PR. In the last few games he was also really good.
These are not world class performers... in fact, both are not close to being called "near world class sef" as of now... but Ighalo edges Nacho for now and will lead the way in Russia.
Omo, na wetin we get be this oooo... sadly so but wetin man go do? We are just banking om the team chemistry to push us on. as in eh, the current predicament tire me |

TheSuperNerd: Simple My Good man.
Gbam! Nacho is not going to Russia as first choice. Ighalo will lead the attack except we are playing with two false 9s in a 3-5-2.
Nacho will be Ighalo's backup in Russia. This is what many are not understanding. He will start from the bench in Russia but what is certain is this: He will be in Russia except injury calls of which I pray it does not.
Team Chemistry and balance is key here. We need our best bench as well as our best first XI. it's not as if Ighalo is bringing hell with him either, the two of them aint good enough to be our first choice as at now. |

It has to be some serious smoke around u before it registers in the test. goldfish80: When you inhale smoke ie secondary smoker, traces of tobacco/cannabis or whatever you're exposed to will be found in your system. You can fail a dope test if subjected to a drug test. Micheal2 Thesupernerd please come put this straight someone can learn something new today. you already explained everything when you said 'passive smoking' I don't really know what he is arguing still. It's just like toxin, when you system is getting toxic, it can even be from exhaust smokes from cars, did you smoke the exhaust? Of course not but it found it's way into your system through your nose |

tbaba1234: Success keeps away the critics. Rohr has been successful thus far. It has nothing to do with local or foreign. Rohr has faced several criticisms on this page but he is succeeding so the praises are higher.
Oliseh deserved some of the criticism.. His team selection and some of the results were poor. He failed his CHAN test and posted poor results against average sides. He fought with senior players and forced their retirement. success is not measured on the short term. We have qualified for 6 of the last 7 WCs, even Amodu did it twice, although we did it relatively easier than we normally did, it still isn't exactly something extraordinary. Going into that last WC, Bosnia won their group without dropping a single point but Keshi's team defeated them and matched Argentina and France, that is success, considerable success |

As in eh, trust nigerians to overlook anything they have in pursuit of something, anything, tagged 'foreign'. When you compare the Ivorian and Malian team that Keshi's team defeated enroute that Afcon win with the present Cameroonian and Algerian teams we faced this year you will see that Keshi did a lot of good work(not to mention that he did it with a restless mind, I mean he had already lost his job at some point!) but just because Rohr qualified us for the WC he is the next best thing after bread and butter. Look at Oliseh and the criticism he received and check where he is now, did Rohr ever get to that point when he was Oliseh's age? But so long as any nigerian is concerned, Oliseh should remain a pundit and he isn't fit enough to polish Rohr's boots, the thing sha tire me Kog45: Pls stop insulting Stephen Keshi. He is late and deserves a great respect.I believe anyone that knows history of Nigeria football would never disrespect him.He has played his part and he would be remember in positive way till eternity. |

rabzy: a player who must play in a system that suits him must be prepared to be a journeyman except he is already a well established and accomplished player and even that is not a guarantee. coaches play their style amd wants players to fit in or ship out. some coaches change style to match opposition. so more versatile and adaptable players would get more game time. thank you Sir |
