ranging from 5g tower unit, to nokia 5g out door unit, the 4g tower unit, android smart box,

the good ones is the first 5g tower unit released and nokia outdoor unit

this airtel smart android box , is the worst case
just put your sim in an authentic Huawei router, and you wlill experence stability from airtel, unless your area has poor connectivity issues

Just here reminiscing about this tech journey. Scholarships & discounts yapa if you keep an eye out. Apart from altschool, I’m in 2/3 other different programs like that. Will be dropping the rest for one though.

Gotten another laptop to install linux exclusively on it. Starting to take building my workdesk seriously, Certification money is complete but I will still look for discounts. Make I face book na the problem now that I’m making more money. I mostly read only on weekends nowadays. Damn!

And I’m kind of wondering , will I be able to accept a job that pays lower than what I make from my bedroom and takes a lot of my time? I understand staying to gain useful experience but my tolerance level for BS has always been low. Well , we’ll see. There are still good workplaces and employers.

I talk with some of my friends and when they mention what they earn, I just smh & keep quiet. People dey really suffer.

This one you are reminiscing about tech journey 😂. Please don't stop tech o. Making money can be tricky/tempting. I was into surveys like prolific and other high paying ones during/after covid. It made me stop learning tech..... Fast forward to now, i am no longer making money through surveys (it got harder or some folded up) nor have learnt the the tech

As at the time you sent this message, YES I am still there, left without getting it, they couldn't find it was asked to see the PCO but wasn't on sit.

From next week it's the PCO am to see now for the passport.

I just got your mention today.... As per mine, it's still on that pending too. I am planning on going there soon sha. Did mine in oshogbo, where did you do yours? And give us the full gist of the level of help....is it paid for or free cos if it's free you may not rely on what she says.
Another angle is that she may also be right, since the stage is "pending" and not outright cancel (red X) I feel it may be technical issues cos my NIN is also validated before I went for capturing.

I think the best is to go there and ask them sha. Best of luck bro

How did you resolve this please? Did you go back to the NIS office? And how did you know it failed... Dis it mark it red or just says pending NIN verification? Mine is pending NIN verification and I am trying to see what's wrong

It's the 3rd week after capturing at oshogbo office and my application track is still pending NIN verification. I am sure my NIN has been validated before. Please what is the way out

I captured since August, was there yesterday not yet ready. If you fast track, you can collect within weeks.

This is very unbecoming! August That's 3months+ o. we need to find a means to call out these people. I already knew there will be a challenge when I noticed they use red marker for DIY.

I know of people that didn't do DIY also that got their passport a week after capturing, even my nephew and niece got theirs 4 days after capturing.

The ladies you are talking about didn't do DIY so it's normal but if they have gone the DIY way and their passport is ready I would have thought something is wrong somewhere.

As long as it's DIY they know what they are doing, let them keep it till they are ready to release my passport. Stupid people

You didn't specify if it's renew or a fresh application. However, necessary documents are birth cert,LG identification,NIN SLIP, payment receipt, appointment slip,your data page, 2 passport photos

and if you're a new applicant you will include Guarantor form sign by commissioner of oath, if you're applying for a renewal make sure you take along your old passport.
Take along all original documents and don't forget to do 2 photocopies.

Get there early and ensure you write your name first. Then go inside to front desk office. There you'll start your journey and told what you need to put in your file.

Maybe I should advice my DIY fellow who needs their passport urgently to avoid osogbo office...... Those ones just pretend to be welcoming to DIY but will label your file with red marker (I guess it's their secret code of discrimination)

The Red marker is the code for DIY applicants, as usual no issues with capturing but production and collection is where I think they don't attend to DIY applicants.

We need to find a solution to this bro

I want to know which state is better for capturing and getting one's passport on time among Lagos, Ogun State, Osun state and Ibadan. Kwara state too might be possible.

I need your advice based on experience

My experience at oshogbo office
Got there on my appointment date but captured the next day because their server was down at the early hours. It got better at around 1pm and they tried to attend to the crowd. We stayed till 9:45pm but the server went off again and they had to close. They gave the rest of us number for the next day. The next day was fast and easy.

Observations.... Crowd was much (Lagos and Ibadan people don open eye to oshogbo office )
They will first ask you if it's DIY, they seems not to have issues with it but I know they do with their reaction and moreso I observed that all DIY files were written with red marker (My opinion is that this is their code of separating DIY from assisted applications).

Read the review of dammywapes about Ibadan and decide for urself. I believe Kwara might be better
