Dead Zones are places we don't wish to go. Not places we drive out empty.

Ikorodu, Apapa, Ojo, ejigbo, Ikotun, abulegba, Iju, Akute, ibafo, Ipaja, ayobo, Igando, Lakowe, Epe......

These are major dead zones a smart driver don't wish to take a trip to.
But if you eventually take a trip to any of those places, no need to drive out empty, cos 60% of the trips you'll get there are surely trips to better areas.

Why drive empty from Ikorodu to Ikosi when your next trip could be to Ikeja?
Why drive empty from Oshodi to Maryland when your next trip could be to Lekki?

Oshodi to Maryland is about 20mins drive, but you can get a trip inside Oshodi in less than 5mins; and 80% of the times, the trip will take you out of Oshodi.

What if you drive from Apapa to Maryland empty and your next trip from Maryland is taking you back to Apapa?
What if you drive from Egbeda to Ikeja and your next trip is taking you to Ayobo?

When you find yourself in one of those places that you've marked on red, the best thing is to look for a better place around there, park and wait for a trip. You will most likely get a trip to a better area.
If you get a trip that's going within same area or worse, reject it, arrive and cancel, tell rider to Cancel. If bad trips keeps coming in repeatedly, set destination from there to the island or island-to-mainland and wait a while.

Again: the best time to use Indriver are times you find yourself in those dead zones, cos you can easily cherry pick rides to better parts.

Sha do what works for you bro. You'll surely get better with time. I did worse when I got in newly. I always drove down to surulere anytime I took a ride to VI, Ikoyi & Lagos Island. Cos of my fear of lastma and CBD.
I will share them here one day. Don't have the time yet.

Go to MRS filling station at onipan (heading towards Jibowu direction) and come and thank me later.
This is where I started buying my fuel when I discovered since last week.
Sometimes, I fit dey Ojodu, Ikeja, magodo, moving lagosians around and when my fuel is below Guage, I go offline and drive to that station to buy fuel. I no dey buy fuel anywhere again.
Their pump be like say it's even more than the conventional.
I used fuel of 5k (for Camry 2.4L) gross 35k on Sunday and e still remain some to cruise the following day. That's where I buy my fuel now.

Yes I know this works but not every time and for every app. Like someone rightly pointed out that your story is beginning to get some bumps. No matter the vawulence here, there's still a sense of family amongst us to help but will frown at any slight means of scam. So you have to do your due homework before presenting your case. Had a traumatic experience last Thursday with the MOT and taskforce guys at iyana itire junction on the service lane, headed towards ballet bus stop, na so dem corner us with their iron rods and towing vehicles saying it's one way.

I wanted to switch to James bond inside me, but cos the rider i was with was a Lagos state official i thought it would be easier, omo! Na so we land their office oo, this lady made calls, but when they hear taskforce like dis dem change mouth to make we settle dem.

From 250 to 120 to 80 to 65 and finally 55k, The lady paid in full, I was just weak, omo! That woman was an angel sent from above that day, and ill be eternally grateful to her.

Mot/ taskforce no dey play oo.

Had my own share of the cake on Monday too.... Along that acis. Those guys are mad. I negotiated till 15k. Lagos is a land of thugs

How can we have these roads everywhere in Lagos and be claiming city?
Annoying part is that of the speed bumps some streets and estates have, those bumps alone fit spoil your car legs. On top wetin now? Even if it's for security purposes, should bumps be that high ni? Even some local streets self dem creat those high bumps wey be say if your car no space up well of the ground, it will be brushing the under.
You will be taking some riders to their destination and have a smooth ride, when you're to enter their streets like this, you go vex say which kind road be this?
Bosses, I have shown a lot of hoodlumy to many riders oh. When I see a rider like this, I can quickly sense who you are, na from there I dey start display my hoodlumism so that you go know who carry you.

I know say ma some rude girls wey promised me 1 star be that cos when I dropped them (4 of them) at their destination, they begged me to take one of them back to main road - I showed dem stubbornness and maturity - dey come dey show me say I no fit help fine girl for just a ride to main road? Packaging wey I don see and chop tire na him una wan dey entice me with. I asked dem out the car say I don end una trip. Runs girls lol.

During my waiting, those airport towing truck just came all of a sudden put chain for my tyre, ah, una dey craze? Na drop off I dey do, can't you see? The look I gave one of dem self, him gave me back, una dey craze.
One young guy I picked from Ojota side in the evening, he carried 2 small girls. One of dem enter front carry leg on top dashboard, I tell am my friend, carry that leg down and use your seatbelt, she obeyed sharp sharp - small girl come see as she open her market (tué). Na this guy did fake transfer when I dropped dem at Magodo. I tracked him back collect my money.
Some area for this Lagos no good for car. On top one road, bikes, keke napep, danfo, korope, trucks, dey drag space. I never see how person go drive on this Lagos roads wey dem no go kiss him bumper or body self. Even as a private and seldom car users, u go see scratch on the car sha ni.

For those of you using Toyota vehicles please be aware that the current factory recommended transmission fluid for your ride is no longer the ATF T-IV, it is now the ATF WS fluid.

ATF T-IV = conventional (dextron 3, ATF-Z1 etc spec)
ATF WS = synthetic (dextron 6, ATF-DW1 etc spec)
