Stop saying what you don't know. The Nigerian govt prepared emergency travel documents for them..I know how the process usually goes. It's a document you can only use once but even with the emergency travel document the other country's immigration still need to check your biometrics and check when you came in, what you've been doing,
check for any criminal records, check how long your Visa was overstayed etc before you can be allowed to leave, which in this case I don't think was done.
