He didnt need to take the drug...he should have just fooled around with the babe and left it at that. No need for a qualified lawyer to be popping pills like some New York mumble rapper 4 Likes |

ridbell01: I was thinking along the same lines but after checking the full video, you see the rebels crowding around the same helicopter in Idlib. So they were the ones tracking and filming it But you are correct that it's often people who are being bombed or attacked who shout "Allah Akbar" |

OnyesomJ: That's what organised countries who have a good attitude to documentation and record-keeping do. Can you fight something when you don't know its name 100 years from now, they will be able to check the exact name, genome and transmission pattern of this virus, can we say that for all strains of Lassa fever pathogen? |

Politics / Re: 8 Ways We Can Reduce Poverty In Nigeria. Do You Agree? by midnighter(f): 8:48pm On Feb 11, 2020 |
Yankee101: Yes, but your comments seem to place the blame squarely at the feet of workers, when it's demonstrably obvious that that's just one side of the story. Otherwise banks, private schools and even small private restaurants would be operating in the same stupid manner as government institutions, which is clearly not the case. Management and top-down infrastructure implementation are poor in public services in Nigeria. Workers need to be incentivised and given decent working conditions and objectives |
Politics / Re: 8 Ways We Can Reduce Poverty In Nigeria. Do You Agree? by midnighter(f): 8:31pm On Feb 11, 2020 |
Yankee101: You have some kind of a point but the attitude you're describing is more visible in civil and public service rather than private institutions in which the owner has his eye on the ball. You are exaggerating just a tad; the work culture of an organisation somewhat dictates the behaviour of workers inside said institution. Though I agree with you that in the main, our attitude needs some adjustment |

Liftitupo: Yes, thats when I noticed something is wrong somewhere. Its totally inconceivable that that guy would see all this and be keeping quiet. That means he must have been banned sometime last week. But thats what Im trying to tell you; until the person who banned him tells us what hes been banned for, it still doesnt satisfy conditions...people can be banned for anything. I am not trying to antagonise you or discount what you people are saying. But you have to remove emotions from it and look at it as a whole. Everything has to come out first before people will see anything wrong in it |

Liftitupo: I think I misunderstood what you meant when you said "healthserve has drafted you in"; this is where my annoyance stemmed from. Yes, I can see what you mean now. I only suggested that it would be better for the stuff to be quiet until all the info is available rather than this exchange of words |

Total and effective mechanisation of agriculture is the only thing that can end abject poverty in Nigeria. 1 Like |

Family / Re: My Cousin Is Addicted To Weed, Drugs by midnighter(f): 8:40pm On Feb 10, 2020 |
whizzy2good: I'm not fighting you either but understand this: is it the woman's fault the guy is keeping crack pipe in his room You need to separate the fact that it's the woman who told him the name of the stuff from the fact that it was already in his room in the first place. You can't disregard a piece of information just because a woman revealed it; that doesn't make sense. And you also need to separate the issue of smoking weed from that of smoking weed in somebody's house without their consent. All this stuff you wrote here is fine as long as you are in your house or in the house of somebody who flows with that lifestyle. Somebody can't accommodate you at your low point and you pay the person back by burning herb without even informing them, as in he had to find out from his neighbour, how embarrassing. The cousin doesn't have a respect at all. If he can do that one, what else can he do Aside from that, it's up to him if he chooses to throw his cousin out; like I said I think he can take him to an addiction centre and be spending time trying to bring him back to normal, if that doesn't work he will have to take it further. 1 Like |

DrTee1: So what you're trying to say is that Mummy OP has actually been promoted...? Anyway, this is a good analysis. I hope she reads it. It's funny how we often see things in the opposite of how they actually are, just because the situation involves somebody we hold dear. We would be tempted to sympathise with them because of the way she told us what happened, but in reality, her mother's actions and justifications were totally wrong 2 Likes |
