Hmmm. A black American colleague of mine walked up to me just last week asking bout travel details to Nigeria. I asked her why she intended travelling to Nigeria and she said she traced her ancestral roots to Nigeria-Togo and she already bought tickets for herself and 3 kids. She needed help with someone to take her around.

I told her point blank: don't visit Nigeria, visit somewhere else. I told her that even the police can kidnap you in Nigeria and ask for ransom.

Before you start throwing insults, I'm a nigerian like you and if you still decide to insult me, I won't be bothered. Afterall, I said the truth.

She could come but she should have planned her route before booking the tickets

Unfortunately this is not a tourist destination so some discretion is needed

In as much as he slept sufficiently *he never* stressed himself to the limit.

He simply did not have the brain power for the stuff that he put in his brain and/or lacked the right family and peer support.

He stressed himself to the limit; he should have gotten a hobby outside of the reading.

The "family support" you speak of would have taken him out for a stroll once in a while to keep him grounded

I sometimes wonder what some of them gain trying to insult you for no obvious reasons. I had to quickly stop myself from replying him, they always look for the slightest opportunity to call you Olosho and all.

Just ignore them dear, they are sick

OK,generally what causes madness....I find it hard to believe your theory that some people have madness in their gene....if its in their gene they would have pass it to their offsprings...but most of this mad people give birth to normal children....@coldie

Your genes can contribute to it in some cases

The offspring are also more susceptible because of their parents

Many minor genetic abnormalities can accumulate and team up with stress/ill health to trigger an explosive deterioration in mental health...

And you remind me of my mom grin

She hated mathematics too. She was the only one who hated mathematics in the family. My brother and I always made sure to pull her leg always.

If my mom gave us a list of what to buy together with the budget for those things, and asked us to help her add up the prices of the items on the list and subtract the sum from the budget.

We will use a summation notation and then express the answer in percentage. Then we will express the percentage in a format that accommodates a leading zero. We will just state it on paper that the sum of the items is 0.5% (50%) of the budget. Whenever my mom saw it, she would start looking for us. "Where are those mischievous boys? How do they expect me to understand this jargon?" cheesy

Lol even to read this one you wrote dey hard me cry Let me just hope that my future offspring have some small pity on their mother...I no fit abeg grin

What I learnt from ur story is that I should always keep my condom in tact. I have one girl I have been eyeing in our area. Omo yen set mehn

Double it o... To avoid wear and tear

DO NOT DOUBLE CONDOMS!!!

The friction between the 2 condoms makes them more likely to break.

Nah fake story joo.
In wedding, its the ladys family that is sending their daughter out to her husband, so the wedding expenses are on them.
So they do the wedding according to their capacity. If they desire big wedding, the expenses are on them.

Yeah. I think we have forgotten this due to the fact that women normally try to marry from wealthier families than theirs. So they're happy to saddle the man with the bills

Actually it's the girls family who are hosting the guests to celebrate giving away their daughter while taking contributions (bride price) from the dude. But I suspect not many people keep to that formula.

The girl is stupid...why do you insist on embarrassing your husband smh

But on the other hand, it's not a crime for the parents to contribute to the wedding/honeymoon. Or even pay for a car.

It's actually normal for them to gift you with these things as a gesture of goodwill since you are just starting your life as a married couple.

I'm more concerned about the fact that she has a habit of rushing to her parents for money when the man clearly doesn't like it
